I felt like my feet were pronating in these shoes. I have high arches and use orthotics. Whether the Asics insole was in or out, my foot seemed to pronate and my ankle and the top of my foot were sore within a few minutes of walking inside.

What happened to the tongue? Honestly, it is the worst decision you could make. There is no padding in between your foot and the laces. Just a piece of netting. I end up with lace marks on the tops of my feet because my feet swell. I own/owned/purchased over 2 dozen Nimbuses and for the first time I do not want to purchase anymore.

I have been a GEL-Nimbus fan over the years, but have not liked every model due to changes they have made. I find the 24 has a narrower toe box, and I agree with others who mentioned the squeaking with every step. They are too expensive to not be completely satisfied. Sadly, I will be returning this pair.

The shoes were great. The preachy pride stuff, not so much.

listen, i love these. so comfy and cute. but so incredibly squeaky when walking on anything but very rough cement. bought them in hopes i could wear them to work, and unfortunately i can’t because they’re so loud and i work in a quiet spa environment. i run in them instead, they’re still great, but beware if you’re hoping to wear them in a professional setting :/

I've been wearing your Nimbus line for years. While I love the new tongue in the 24s, the Gel Nimbus 22s were MUCH more comfortable, durable, and lasted longer. Sadly, I'm not a fan of the new design.

These shoes are light and comfortable. This type of sole took some getting used to at first, it just didn’t feel stable to me. My issue, and this is probably unique to me, while walking I noticed my feet slide forward a tiny bit cramming/rubbing my toes into the front side of the shoe. This may not be a problem for most but as an amputee this was painfully annoying. I think the height of the heel and downward angle to the toe was the problem for me. Again, probably fine for most with typical feet

I like these shoes, although I have not run in them yet. One comment I would make is that I have a high arch and the prior version of these had better arch support. There's almost no arch support in these and that has me worried. It's almost like the arch is way back near the heel. AISICS, are you using a women's specific footbed for this shoe? The fabric in the toe area also seems less durable. So for a very expensive shoe I have my fingers crossed that it will not wear out. It has a sock-like stretchy consistency. The shoes are very light and cushioned, which is good. They seem to have a lot of cushion in front so I hope that works for a heel striker. I think most women strike more in the heal area than men. I loved my earlier gel nimbus shoes. I do like the colors of these better though! Thank you for offering lots of options there.

The shoes are good for my plantar fasciitis because it's got the gel cushion, but unfortunately it was a bit tight where my pinky toes are. I normally wear a size 7 shoes, but these just feel a little tight. My pinky toes feel squished. Maybe if they have a wide size, they would fit better and would be more comfortable.

As far as cushion and support under my foot, these shoes are awesome! Their design aligns your foot for proper walking form. However, the fit of these shoes are quite narrow. I have narrow feet, so for me to say that, they are especially narrow.

The tongue is much thinner than traditional shoes and not the most comfortable.
Also the padding on the top of the shoe near the toes is thinner than previous gel nimbus shoes.
The shoe is lighter than previous gel nimbus shoes.

These run small in the toe box area. All my other Asics are the same size but these are smaller.

I never write reveiws but I am so disapointed with the nimbus 24 I ordered. I went up a half size for more toe room more comfort. That did not happen the shoe did not feel any bigger and almost to small and too narrow with a medium width which I get in all my show including the last asics kayano 28 I bought. The asics I love are very old gel nimbus 18 I beg asics to go backwards and bring back that style you would make many customers very happy
I'd also recommend:
only asics gel nimbus 18 the kayano 18 is good but not as padded as the older nimbus

Great shoes but I have narrow feet and these shoes were way too narrow for me! I can’t imagine how narrow you’d need to be for these to fit. Really disappointed. Never had that issue with ASICS.

I bought these as soon as they came out because I loved the colors, but the tongue and width are 2 things I dislike. The tongue is scratchy and you need longer than ankle socks when wearing these because it rubs the top of the foot/leg area raw. These are a more narrow than previous Nimbus' I have but they have stretched out with use. I have about 50 miles on them so far and they are great shoes but I prefer a softer tongue and a little more room in the toebox.

I'm a bit disappointed..,
You should stick to what works.
Every time I put them on it's not comfortable with the laces and tongue being so different. Why did you change?
Ugh

I purchased these shoes in search of a supportive neutral running shoe. After about a half hour, my feet were in a lot of pain. Unfortunately, I am unable to return them due to wearing them outside.

I have worn many ASICS shoes and this style is very narrow. Especially in the heel and midsole area

The predecessor shoe ran a half size smaller in the toe box. So does this one. I wear a US 5B in a street shoe. In athletic shoes, I need a 5.5. My bif toe touches the tip of this shoe- so this shoe is going back. I hope the 6 fits. I need an athletic shoe that's neutral or accommodates my supination/underpronation. I have a narrow heel. Between these characteristics and the small size of my high arched foot, my choices are extremely limited.

Minimal arch support for a running shoe. The toe box is narrow and leaves little room to allow your big toe bone to be comfortable. I’m hoping they will stretch a bit…both big toenails have been cracked after walking. Also, the tongue has an added loop they rubs the front of your shin. Super cute sneaker, but will never order again.

The shoes fit perfectly. Took off tag to wear outside. As I was walking, each step felt as if the shoes were stuck to the sidewalk & made a noise when the shoe released from the cement. I've been wearing Asics for many years and have never had a problem like this. Returned the shoes. Of all the Asics I've had, the 17's fit me the best.

Although it’s a beautiful sneaker, there is not enough structure for my feet. I ended up with ECCO.
