Nice shoes but ASICS changes them every year. Didn't expect the tight upper elastic arch material & thinner tongue. I've had a foot injury on right so unable to keep shoestring loose to prevent pressure off foot & prevent numbness. Otherwise nice gel front & back. Also to put on need 2 hands for tongue & to not squish back padding.

I don't think the material is a good as usual but it could be me. You can tell there's more cushion.

I'm not sure what is going on with sneakers anymore, but the quality has diminished. I used to get at least get 10 months to year out of a pair. Especially higher brand sneakers such as Asics or Hoka. However the last two pairs I've bought from each company ended up with a whole in the big toe. My shoe size hasn't changed, but what has changed is the quality of material being used to produce these shoes. It's as though companies want to make the biggest profit margin possible, so they are cutting back on high quality materials. Just my thoughts.

The shoe is lighter than any other running shoe I've tried. Great colour options. However, I was disappointed overall. I've worn a number of iterations of the gel nimbus and after this pair, it's clear I need to find a new favorite running shoe. There is very little support in the front of the shoe and my foot felt like it was slipping inside the shoe. To get them to feel snug, I laced them a little tighter, but because the tongue on this shoe was very thin, the laces felt like they cut into my feet. Lastly, the sole of the shoe seemed to have a seam down the middle so I felt like the two sides of each foot were uneven.

I've had several pairs of Asics in this size -same size as all the rest. These were very wide, and felt very large and different than all my other pairs of Asics same size.

I bought these same shoes twice in the last year and this time the toe box is narrower. Otherwise they're great shoes.
