I returned these because the heel was too large. Also, the area around the tongue was not sewn well - it was actually starting to ravel - perhaps a fluke? Sorry I had to return them.

Definitely not like the previous two models. Did not feel the support that I felt with the 22 and 23 model. They are definitely lighter and have more flexibility, but not really what I need when I run. Disappointed. Had to return and get the Gel Nimbus 23.

Very comfortable and soft. Felt broken in and my feet were fine right away. However, I find the 24s to not be as supportive as the 23s. I will occasionally do a little ankle roll and almost lose my balance. Never had that issue with the 23s. Considering returning.

They're ok. Too expensive. Wait until they're on sale.

These fit true to size, and are reasonably attractive for a super-cushioned (aka clunky) running shoe, but the stitched down (I think maybe this is called "gusseted") tongue was not only permanently fastened down but made of a very stretchy material that made the top of the shoe extremely snug fitting and I felt like I was wearing a compression sleeve over my instep. The collar is also super padded, and because of these features the shoes were not easy to slip into. I could also imagine that on a warm day or a long run this feature would make the shoe uncomfortably hot. I usually wear Asics Contend, a much lower profile and lower end running shoe, so maybe my disappointment with these Nimbuses was due to that. FYI I had been looking for more cushioning, hence the switch, and after much trial and error ended up choosing the Hoka Clifton, which seems to provide similar cushioning to the Nimbus but with a lower, less intrusive profile, and a lower price:-)
I'd also recommend:
Hoka Clifton, Asics Contend, Asics Nimbus

I LOVE nimbus shoes but since the 22's they seem too tight especially in the toe area. The nimbus 21 are just PERFECT!!!!!

The color was more grey, then black. Returning for this reason.

The fit on these is not as good as their predecessors. The 2021 Model was a better shoe and the materials are stronger. I don't like these.

I have worn Nimbus in the past and hoped I could simply order another pair. It has been several years since I last purchased my prior shoes. The Nimbus24 shoe fit size wise; unfortunately, I think my feet have changed (aging) and they did not provide the stability I needed. As well, I have ball of foot pain (of unknown etiology) for many years; my foot did not hurt in former models, but the ball of my foot hurt in these :( . Thus I returned the shoes. I agree with other reviewers - the tongue of the shoe is way too thin to be of any comfort; in addition, I found it too narrow.

I like they there is actually a Wide which helps. I never wore wide shoes before until a podiatrist said you need to only get shoes that have an actual WIDE size - not just that they run wide. So it makes a complete difference in fit. I have not had a chance to wear them since i bought several pairs of shoes at the same time to make sure i converted all to a WIDE - But standing in these shoes and walking a short distance like around the house is very comfortable.

I've love my Nimbis 23s. The toe box in this shoe is smaller and tighter.

I normally wear 10.5 standard or 10W. I tried 10.5 wide and it was tight. This was not my style and I did not like walking in them inside.
I tried. I am waiting for my kayano 28 to try. Since I have a very little arch, I am thinking kayano might be better fit for the mechanics of my foot. Don't ask me, I am just learning this stuff. But no to nimbus 24.

I've worn Gel-Nimbus thru many versions and always loved them. I bought the same size Gel-Nimbus 24 as my Gel-Nimbus 23 and it is about 1/2 size too big. Ran in them anyway thinking it might be ok ( so now sadly I can't return them ). The 24 does not have arch support like the 23. Also the new tongue is weird and long and hits my right shin. One tongue is longer than the other. I was excited the shoe would be lighter but not at the expense of no arch

Nice look to this shoe but way too tight fitting in the toes. Makes my foot numb by the end of the day. Can't wait to get them off. Love my old pair but not the new style.

Not as cushiony as I was hoping for. I had been running with Ons previously and think I will go back to them.

Fit and size are fine. Shoes were previously worn and it shows they were. I paid for brand new shoes, not previously worn shoes. The way they are made like a little boat when you walk you can easily trip

I have been wearing Gel-Nimbus for over 10 years and this design/fit it terrible. I do not like the new elastic fit. It is too tight on the top of my foot, no matter how loose I have the laces, causing pain. And the heel is too high with all that cushion causing my foot to slide forward and I feel like my toes are getting squished. I also went up a 1/2 size so it's not because they are too small for my feet. I will not even try the 25 series as they look ridiculous like Hokas. The best fit was the 16, 18, 19, 20, and 21.

These were disappointing. The center treads wore out super quick. The different tongue style took some getting used to but I didn't mind the design.

These were very well cushioned in the sole but the toe box was way too narrow. I have very small feet and can wear a 5 or 5.5 US size with some shoes. I got a 6 US with these and they really did a number on my toes. The toe box is way too small. Ouch!

very dissapointed in this shoe. I searched hight and low for a shoe with the cushion and support i needed. I thought this would fit the bill, cushion and support is great, its downfall is the length...ive ordered 2 different sizes, had to pay more for the second, and the same issue. The shoe is too short period. If i size up a full size and a half it will be too big for the right foot. Also ordered in a wide, however, the left shoe does not feel like a wide. You would hope for the cost, they could make a shoe thats not basically the same length across multiple sizes

The tongue is made of stretchy knit and provides no stabilization or support. Not what I am used to for ASICS ?. I’ve worn them for ever… not anymore. I returned these.
I'd also recommend:
I will buy Brooks until ASICS gets over it’s fascination with knits.

The fit is disappointing. They are the right size but just don't feel as comfortable as my previous Asics gel nimbus which I have been buying for years. My previous gel nimbus 23's are more comfortable than the new 24's. The 24's feel more glove like which is too encompassing of my foot. Please return to the old style!! No complaints about Zappos. You are always quick to send out shoes and returns are easy.

I’ve never had a problem with running shoes before, but these have just been the worst. I’m normally a true size 6 and have never had to size up - if anything, I run a little small. My toes touch the front of the shoe and the top is so tight, even when I tie the laces as loosely as possible, that my feet go numb. Never had a pair of shoes, running or otherwise, where the sizing was so off. I won’t be ordering ASICS again of any style, but would definitely recommend that others size up at least half a size. Going back to Brooks.

The arch area on this shoe was all wrinkly. It clearly had no arch support for me. I have a fairly high arch, so clearly this was not the shoe for me.
I returned them.
