the fit inst as wide as other XW golf shoes I have received, the inconsistent fit of the shoes both on width and length continues to be an issue for me

Surprised at how stiff these were around the ankle and the side of my foot. Unlike other footjoys I've worn. Will need a lot of breaking in before golf season starts.

I purchased a pair of Footjoy Pro Sl's after I had seen a lot of hype around them.
I wear a uk size 11 in most shoes and trainers, and sometimes a uk 11.5 in running shoes and have done so for 20 years. I initially ordered a pair in a uk size 11 wide, but they just looked and felt too long. So I did some research and found some reviews by golfers on youtube, and they all said that they wore a much smaller size in a Footjoy than in any other shoe brand!
In trying to determine what size I needed in a Footjoy Pro Sl, I got my feet measured at a golf club on a Brannock device. My feet measured up as a size uk 10 wide ??? why are the sizes so different from the industry standard??? I tried a size 10 wide, and a 10.5, and they were both too tight around the toe box, even though apparently that was the size that I needed!!
The long and short of this is that I think Footjoy are trying to make a sporty golf shoe with a traditional looking toe box at address.
It just doesn't work. You have a comfy sporty shoe with a long narrow toe box that your toes have no chance of filling, thus leaving a long gap at the end that just feels weird.
I feel that this shape of golf shoe is not the sporty spike less shoe that a club golfer really wants compared to what other brands on the market are offering.
If you want a traditional looking toe box on a golf shoe at address then I would go for something like a Dryjoy, but if you want a sporty spike less shoe for the summer then I would recommend another brand to tick all the boxes.
I just feel that in the current trendy climate of golf attire that these shoes just don't quite cut it and are left behind by other brands in the style stakes. And yes I sent them back.

Good looking shoes but very stiff out of the box and not comfortable on the ankles and outside of my foot. Very unlike other Footjoy shoes I've gotten over the years. Going to have to break them in slowly before playing.

This is my 2nd pair of Pro SLs this year. Superlights were light, but don't last as well as these. These shoes are designed to hold up well over time. Solid waterproof construction and very stable during setup and swing execution. Not the most comfortable footbed after 10+ miles of walking in a day, but built to last for roughly 500-600 miles ( around 100-120 rounds of golf), as long as you occasionally maintain them. I can vouch for that fully, as that I am on my 694th round walked this year.

The he shoes are very well made and I'm sure would have been great. I ordered the wide fit and unfortunately it was not wide enough.

Ich finde das linker und rechter Schuh unterschiedlich ist und die Passform nicht richtig komfortabel zum Golfen
Ich hatte verschiedene Grssen probiert - mich leider fr diesen Schuh entschieden

Excellent shoe but slightly disappointed with the fit. I have worn a pair of size 6UK wide fitting FJ Energize shoes from straight out the box without issue. Therefore, I ordered exactly the same size of Pro SL and have found them to be slightly tighter. I've now worn them for 5 full rounds and they are only now starting to ease off but are still pinching my toes. The sole disign of the FJ Energize is different from Pro/SL which might account for the difference

The shoe looked great however the size was incorrect. The box indicated a W width like I ordered, however the label on the shoes showed M. As a result the shoe was too narrow and I had to return them.

I bought 6.5 UK size thinking that it would fit perfectly as my other shoes fits perfectly. The size is one size bigger, I still find loose. The synthetic material looks a bit cheap. I tried two days on the course, second day I twisted my ankle and had some blisters. Not as comfortable as I thought. I already used so not sure if Footjoy could replace the correct size for me.

Good looking, seems durable. Cleans easily. Just not that comfortable to walk course in.

I think sizing is true to the measuring device. I wear size 9.5 shoe but according to foot measuring device I'm an 8.5. I bought a size 9W and they were still to big. The width was good but it was almost a size to long. I ordered the speith under armour shoe about a month ago 9.5 wide and they were to small in length and width. So I've been having trouble finding a shoe. These shoes are very comfy and I'll be reordering a pair in 8.5W.

Love the comfort and look of this shoe. I've had two pairs and they are squeaky. Annoying me and playing partners. Seems to be coming from where back insole rubs the inside of the shoe. If I put cream, ie sunscreen there the noise stops. FJ, if you fix this you have the best shoe on the market.

Good Footjoy quality for the price but ran a little small for 14 wide size I choose. Returned for credit which I haven't received yet. Then purchased DNA shoe.

I have used previous styles of FootJoy golf shoes and loved them. This version (same size as prior versions) is really one size too big. I do not know whether this is a manufacturer error (mislabeling of size) or the last (form) to make the shoe has changed. I suspect the latter. This needs to be looked at and corrected. Additionally, this shoe does not provide the same degree of foot support and stability as prior versions.

Love the look and style of shoe. However, I have worn the shoes 2X, both times resulted in some of the worst blisters I have ever had. I do have high arches, so thinking the shoe was just not a great fit for my foot.

This shoe was very comfortable and stable with great traction (probably the best I've experienced in a spike-less shoe). The toe-box was a bit tight for me though (this isn't an issue with the shoe, but more with how it fit my foot shape). I need a shoe with more room in the toe-box. I didn't love the style though. Wanted to try it on in person to see if it was better but I couldn't do it. First thing wife said was "They look a little like orthopedic shoes". That was enough for me hah. This is a shoe that likely looks better if worn with long pants (like on tour pros), and doesn't translate as well to the amature wearing shorts. I returned and went with the Nike Lunar Command 2... they are comfortable, stylish and have more room in the toe-box.

Ordered and was enthusiastic about good solid spikeless shoe. However, I found the uppers to be very stiff and returned the shoes. So if you are looking for something to wear right out of the bow might want to consider the DNA. Just final point I have about 8 pair of FJ shoes that I really like, just not these.

Size 13N. Comfortable for the sole of the foot. This is the first model with a very rigid deep heel cup with very little padding, almost none. Stiff sole. Cleatless shoes prior to this model had very little traction on wet grass. This model required me to lift the foot straight up by an inch before moving it horizontal otherwise the cleatless design would snag on the course provoking a tripping action. I am returning these shoes for they inflamed my left heel, locking it up. Wore them twice and can play eleven holes before pain. BOA closure system keeps slipping
