The BOA Systen seems to have worked MUCH better on previous models Ryan the latest ProSL and hyper flex models.

I will be buying the smaller size next time, but at least I have the width that I need and the size 10 works. Wouldn't work if they were too small!!!

A really good looking shoe with a very promising specification and apparently good reviews from some users on utube. However, the wide fit specified was not at all evident I'm afraid and so the shoes were returned unused. I am really struggling to find a spikeless golf shoe with good soles / grip that are comfortable (wide fit) and that look like golf shoes!

Really need to buy 1 size down from what you usually wear...

I've worn 10.5 M Footjoys for 20 years. But these were definitely smaller and tighter through the toes. After wearing them twice, (walking 18 holes), they are too painful to endure. Looks good and would probably hold up well, but I will never know.

Squeaking heels straight from the box. Not what you'd expect at the price

Was looking to move on from an older pair of DryJoy's. Showed up to the club one day with no shoes in my bag. Wandered into the pro shop and pulled these down thinking they would be as similar in fit to my DryJoy's. Seriously regretting my purchase. Had to pick up another pair of spiked walking shoes from another brand. I've not slipped yet in these but walking 18 is almost unbearable. Size 9D with a high volume foot.

Bought these based on previous FJ experience. Apparently thus model fits slim. I walk and feel happy when I take them off.

Smart looking and comfortable around the foot and toes. However a major defect is that, even tied as tight as possible, the cuff/collar of the shoe around the ankle is very loose, with the result that the back of the shoe slides down the heel of my foot as I walk. Another minor downside is that the laces are far to short ! ............ hardly enough to tie a double knot !

I found they fit fairly tight, when I first tried them on, I did have my foot measured before selecting a size however they were too snug for my liking, so I returned them. But the shipping was very quick (here and the return) zero hassles with the return

Comfortable, but way too narrow at the toe box. I wear normal width in all athletic and dress shoes, almost needed extra wides in these.

I was really excited to try on my new shoes, but unfortunately, they were too snug across the foot box/toes area. The good news is FootJoy's easy returns policy. I'm going to try a different model, thanks to online chat support.

Ordered a pair of the wide Pro SL's in blue from local pro. Just taking them out of the box scared me as they looked so narrow. Great in length but in way were these shoes wide or could even be considered wide - you must have feet like a ballerina if you wear teh standard fitting. Asked my pro if the Pro SL's in blue were available in extra wide only to be told no. Extra wide available in black/lime or White Blue only. My only option is customise and this comes at a premium cost. I moved away from Footjoys to Eccos in the past for this precise reason.

Full disclosure... I have very wide feet - EEEE - and am notoriously difficult to fit. Historically, I have been able to find a few FJ models that fit. Sadly, it appears that I am now out of luck. FJ seems to be producing narrower shoes- even the wide ones. I have tried several models without success. I really like the look of the PRO|SL Boa shoes and ordered a wide size, 1/2 size bigger than what I usually wear. Sadly, I could barely get my foot into the shoe. I cannot go any larger as the heel would then be too lose. I am very disappointed that it seems I will no longer be able to wear FJ shoes. I really liked the PRO|SL shoes, but alas, it is not to be.

I recently purchased a pair of Pro/SL footjoy golf shoes because I have been experiencing some foot discomfort after walking 18 holes of golf. I was looking for a pair of shoes that would give me support and comfort similar to my sneakers that I walk in every morning. I did quite a bit of research and landed on the Pro/SL. After walking in them several times I was a little disappointed. It hasn't improved my foot discomfort following a round of golf. I have been very loyal to the Footjoy brand for the past 30 years, this was the first time I have been disappointed.

Tried them on and they felt a little narrow even though I had ordered a wide size. Not as comfortable as I would have hoped. Still haven't used them yet on a golf course. Jury still out.

Nice shoe and like the Boa. Construction could be more solid. Fits well.

The shoe itself is great. Unfortunately, you only have size 12 or 13 for men and no size 12 1/2. This is unbelievably frustrating. 13s are too big and 12s are too small. PLEASE start making large shoes in half sizes.

As I already have a pair of Pro SL (white) I thought I would like the navy in same size but, wait, the "same size" was smaller so I've returned them and thank you for the postage-free of charge refund. I'm not giving up on FJ at all as I've loved FJ for years on the course and also the gloves that I recently bought 2 for 1 at Dicks. I almost went for a half size larger but was so unsure that I bought JM's golf shoes instead as I have a pair of "non-golf" and simply love the inner gripping sleeve-like design that grips my foot so nicely and think they are about the best that I've ever worn, in a lifetime perhaps except for my Adidas running shoes. So, I'm still a FJ lover and fan but in this instance, it may be more about not having the ease of trying them on in a store, vs. my proven experience with another shoe maker.

Required a waterproof golf shoe and this shoe fits the bill. It's comfortable enough, quite a narrow fit but which suits me, and the soles provide confident traction. Two niggles: Importantly, the uppers can feel too soft, which is a concern for durability and support. The other one is the doles are very tough to clean.

I usually buy a new pair of Pro/SL every year. My new Carbons only lasted 6 months and a whole chunk of spikes has torn off. Usually I just them out playing so much.
