I loved the color combo and service shipping and return.
Why the changes from the 15? the shoes did not seem as supportive as the 15.
There was no insole? What was there was a sewn or glued in something that made the shoe fit poorly when I tried to use add an insole. I have small 14W feet so I always have plenty of room not with these with the insole added.
The great reviews of the 15's are why I purchased them why change a popular product? I don't get it my feet didn't appreciate it.

I had the previous Excursion TR9 which I hated--squishy cushioning with no support, migrating tongue, poor traction, laces that were constantly knotting. Worst shoe I've ever had, both for running (gave up on that pretty quickly) as well as casual. The TR16 corrected all the 9's shortcomings. It's actually a decent shoe--grippy sole, supporting cushioning, more robust laces, etc. etc. I'm actually using it as a running shoe (bought for a knock around shoe), currently on short runs on snowy roads.

Nice looking , does have removable insole. There’s zero recoil, like wearing 2bye4 on sole! Great traction on sloppy trails! Good luck trying to wear socks, tight toe box!

Fit perfectly. Color and style are good. Sole looks like it will be grippy and hold up well.

I don't know what Saucony changed from their previous versions of this Excursion TR, but this TR16 hurt my feet. I have previously loved my Excursions (TR11 to TR15) and previously their Cohesion TR series. However, I tried the Excursion TR 16, but after about half a mile, the ball of my feet would start to burn with discomfort. I tried DR Scholl's inserts as I had previously used to help cushion, but I couldn't make them work. After 3 weeks of trying, I gave up and ordered an older version [Excursion TR15 (which may not be an option going forward)].
Hopefully, whatever change Saucony made with the TR16 will NOT be continued in future versions, or I will have to hunt for another shoe.

I used to buy Saucony all the time. Now, no way. Not comfortable at all. It seems like the quality of shoe in general has gone way down!

Good shoe - toe box smaller than some others and more of a narrow feel. Shoe runs 1/2 size small - I had to return and get a 1/2 size larger than normal.

Fit as expected and feel comfortable. Love the slate blue color scheme. Nicely ventilated. These are not water proof or water resistant, but I wasn't expecting them to be.

My husband hasn't really got the shoes yet. The original order was sent back in exchange for a bigger size. I received and email noting they were received and the exchange was being worked on. After 3 weeks, I called and apparently @the exchange didn't get put in the computer ". Come on Saucony! You can do better than this. I've been wearing your shoes exclusively for 40 yrs! I had to re order his shoes. I certainly hope they come!

These trail running shoes are excellent. The fit is great. The price was very good. They were shipped to me in a reasonable time frame.

This is my 3rd pair great sneakers they run small in my opinion I usually go a full size up but my last pair I went a half size and they fit really well so maybe something has changed but great products.

I remember the days when you had to "break in" a pair of shoes. Not with these they fit great and were very comfortable on the very first run! I'm going to buy another pair and put them in the closet for when these wear out...

I purchased these to replace my Excursion TR15 's that I was so happy with. The fit and feel is so comfortable which is usually a challenge for me to find. They also provide the support that I require from footwear.
