I go through a pair of shoes every couple months at work and these have lasted over 4 months. Still going strong but grabbing another pair for spring. Highly recommend!

I bought these about 6 weeks ago and am very pleased with them. I consider them a great value based on quality and pricing.

I have been running in Excursions for years now. I first purchased them due to the combination of low price and rugged sole. I run on trails, gravel, off trail, grass and rocks and these shoes have never let me down. I don't get much time on pavement or concrete, so I can't attest to their performance or durability on those surfaces. I run all winter in them and just add wool thicker wool socks and sometimes gaiters if the snow is deep enough. My feet may get wet, but the wool socks keep them warm. The only issues I have had are on ice, wet grassy side hills and super muddy situations, but they still work, just not as good as some more aggressively lugged or studded shoes, but for less than half the price, that makes sense. I don't think you can get better value in a trail shoe. These are my go to running shoe.

I don't believe that I actually went through with this purchase as I am still considering some of the options for the shoe I'm seeking. However, I have been very pleased with the purchases I have made, and I am certainly likely to purchase another Saucony product.

Great fit, great price, although the base tread seems like it will wear out faster.

Sauconys are the only shoes that fit me well. I am now on my 4th pair and wear them all day every day.

Revising my past initial review, as I was a bit hasty with it, I think. These shoes are really nearly as comfortable as past versions, or maybe even just as comfortable. I wear them every day for work on hard concrete surfaces where I'm on my feet most of the 8 to 9 hour work day and I have to say the fit and feel are very good. The only real complaint I have is that the tongue migrates to one side, as in past versions of the shoe, which is a little annoying. Not sure why that happens, but I have to fix it at least once a day. No big deal, though, as no product is perfect. Otherwise, I love the look and feel of it and it's a pretty rugged shoe.

Comfortable lots of room in toe. Next time I may try regular instead of wide width.

The TR16 model changed the tongue so that alternative lacing methods cannot be used. With a high instep, I can't lace to avoid pressure on the top of my foot. Not all changes are good. I put lots (hundreds) of miles hiking in my TR15's and was disappointed with the new model.

These shoes were much tighter and the toe box more narrow than the TR12s I have worn previously and were oddly hard and felt like the middle of the heel was raised slightly so it felt like walking on pebbles. Weird fit overall and no comfortable out of the box like previous versions. Cannot recommend

I order my Saucony online because the fit is so consistent. Although the comfort and quality of these particular runners are great, they are much wider than I am used to. I looked at the box twice to make sure I didn't actually buy "wide" by mistake, I did not.

Nice shoes but they run small and tight. So I had to return them unfortunately.

The shoes were not as comfortable as in the past. I've had the excursion 14 ones, went through 5 pair of them. Loved them. Told everyone to buy them. These ones (excursion 16) hurt my ankles. Felt cheaply made. I sent them back. There is a hard cutting ridge in them that bites into side of ankle the second you put them on.

I've been using the Excursion 14 model for the last 2 years and have been very pleased. When I received the new model 16, not so much. It;s pretty easy to tell that the crafsmanship is diminished.
I would rather pay a little more than settle for a shoe that won't stack up against its predeccesor.

I have been wearing Saucony Excursion Trail shoes for years, as it's the only shoe I can wear that doesn't hurt. I have some issues with my feet, so there's not many shoes that work well for me. These have been great in the past, but this latest version seems a little lacking in cushioning, as one other reviewer mentioned. It also seems a little longer, but I'm not 100% sure I'm correct on that. I think they've gone back to the wider build of the shoe where the TR15 seemed a little narrower like a traditional running shoe. Either way, I'm ordering a pair of leftover TR15 today because my last ones were super comfortable. Also as a side note, the interior build quality of these shoes always seems to a little lacking, as well. I seem to wear out the inside of the shoe quicker than I have with other brands in the past. But overall I still really like them and it's my favorite shoe. Definitely WAY more comfortable than Asics and Nike trail running shoes, which is what I used to wear. Hopefully the next version will be back to the comfort level I'm used to.

None! My wife likes Hoka, but she was impressed w/the Saucony Trail runners I got her recently!

Loved versions 14 & 15, but 16 not so much. The fit is looser making them less comfortable for a long hike.

Fits okay, but after walking for an hour my feet become very sore around the outside edges. There needs to be more soft padding inside because the hard material will make your bunion area very tender.
