I often wear Brooks shoes but thought I would try these because sometimes I feel like my toes are pinched in the Brooks. So far I really like them. I don't have wide feet, but feel like I needed more space to spread out. They look a little odd due to the wider toe box. But these are for performance not looks. I feel like the laces are too thin. A better lace would be nice for the price.

I am in love with these shoes. I teach group fitness & these are the PERFECT flat shoes for me. They're comfortable and have great grip. The wider toe box is amazing, my pinky toe is no longer squished!

The only shoe I have ever loved! I have had 3 pairs. Originally bought for the gym (lifting) but I love them for walking in the treadmill or on the sidewalk and I wear a pair for any errands or whatever else. I've actually walked on the beach in these too and they got no sand in them so that was a nice perk! These are the only shoe that has ever felt like it's not making my bunion worse. I will buy these forever. I wouldn't mind seeing a "wide" size in the future for an even roomier toe box. I wear an 8.5W or a 9W in other shoes and I sized up to a 9.5 in these since they don't have a "wide" size! Both the 9 and 9.5 worked but I just prefer more room. The toe box is great and the shoe is not too wide in the midfoot or ankle which is perfect for me!! And they're cute!!! Normally shoes this comfortable would be hideous but I actually like these! I have black and grey and my mom had the white and they're also very cute.

I walk 2-5 miles nearly every day and wear these shoes every time. My feet don't get hot, plenty of room for my wide toes, and not too much cushion. They're light and my absolute favorite shoes to wear for my walks.

Before this model got away, I bought 5 pairs. I have medium/wide feet with Bunions. Size 11 is perfect, I usually wear a 10 wide. They are the most comfortable shoes I own.

I love this shoe. I also have the escalante 3's, but I much prefer the Solstice XT 2's for walking/daily use. The white is stylish. I hope Altra makes more white, simple shoes like these!

I am a teacher, I have been wearing them at work. Super comfortable and I can dress up with them. When I was hiking Mammoth March 20 miles last summer, in between Lone Peak and these, I picked these. 20 miles walk, my feet felt great.

I purchased it after recovering from achilles rupture. I wanted a wide toe box because I am working on toe spread and foot strength. I love the narrow heel because in my gait I create a lot of torque from heel to toe, so less width back there reduces this twisting. The shoe is good quality, and I like the look. I used this shoe for walking and for gym workouts. I removed the liner and inserted a drugstore power step instead, as I do with all my shoes. I can't run yet, but when I am cleared to run I will invest in an Altra running shoe.

These are the answer to my "foot journey" prayers. I have transitioned almost exclusively to zero drop and these are the first shoes that feel like a regular attractive sneaker but have all the benefits of a wide-enough toe box and zero drop. These have the least amount of cushion of any Altras that I have been able to find, which is ideal for me because I am trying to do less support in my shoes to strengthen my foot. I have the Escalante Racer which is the same drop and it says the same cushion height, but that one feels way more cushy, so I don't want to wear it unless I am running on the road. These are great for my gym time, walking around, daily wear, and they look good - not weird wide toe sneakers. (I don't usually mind the look, but sometimes I want to streamline a look). I own several Altras: LP Alpine, Lone Peak 8, Lone Peak 5, Torin Plush, Escalante Racer and these Solstice XT2 shoes (ranked widest toe-box to narrowest) - and as mentioned these are the narrowest of all of them. I still feel like the toe box is plenty wide, but if you have a "pizza foot" or a very wide foot, they may be too narrow for you. I LOVEthese shoes and am going to sell one of my other pairs so I can buy another of these.

I have Haglund's deformity with Achilles issues. My PT said we need to get me into zero drop shoes. Also the soft heel counter doesn't bother my Haglunds. For the past 3 years, these are the only shoes that don't bother my foot. Glad there are new colors as I don't like white sneakers and have only bought the black. I just purchased the grey! Will likely purchase blue in the future. More colors would be great! Please, please, please never change the design of this shoe!!!

I love these shoes! Only shoes I can walk in with planter fasciitis. Really reduces the pain! Great walking show. Please make more of the white color.

I go to exercise class in my Solstice and also wear them just because they are so comfortable on my feet. I need a bit of a riser in my left shoe and with the Solstice, my foot doesn't feel like it's going to come right out of the shoe.

I got this shoe for weight lifting, plyometrics and hopefully court sports (like pickleball). I like the shoes for these purposes and kept them even with the following comments: The shoe fits slightly larger than I would like for these sports and I got the same size as my running shoes. They are slightly more narrow than the running shoes I have from Altra with pressure on the meaty part of my foot just behind the forefoot. The heels are slightly wide as well and fall off in sled pushing drills if I don't tie them down extra tight.

I love my new Altras. My toes have space. They have the perfect amount of low cushioning. I've been wearing them almost daily. Walks and weight training. And they are cute! The only think I don't like is the laces. They come unlaced often. Minimal issue, I just need to order new ones.

Plenty of space for my toes, fits securely in the heel, isn't hot, doesn't have the annoying outsole that rubs against my instep like most of the other Altra models I have tried. I wear these in complete comfort for hours at a time while walking or playing pickleball. I even ordered them in a color I didn't want just to get a second pair in my size. (Altra, PLEASE get the white back in stock!)

Excellent for my bunion and arch. I have three pair's now. Please bring back the white so I can have a back up pair when they get too dirty!

These are my every day shoes and my workout shoes. I had severe pain in my feet before I landed on these shoes. I tried Brooks, New Balance, Vevo Barefeet, and they all hurt the bottom of my feet. I had all but given up and luckily found these. I pray they never change this shoe. I couldn't live without them.

I wear these for work, walks after work, workout classes, running errands, and recently wore them on a trip to Boston where we walked 10+ miles per day. The white + pink combo is soo cute and goes with all my clothes - I was hoping to buy more pairs for an upcoming Europe trip! I love the wide toe box, minimal feel, and lightweight nature of these shoes.

I love these for walking working out and for Pickleball. Great shoe. I have them in white and black.

This is a great shoe. The toe box is wide, and there is no lift in the heel. It's perfect for casual wear, and for the gym. I've had 2 pair of the white and one black. I love having a white sneaker option that has a natural foot shape. The Solstice is perfect for this! The only thing I wish would change is the white color combo. The rubber pieces on the sides of the shoe and part of the tongue look dingy over time, almost a strange cream color. And the blush pink accent is just "meh with the off- white color of the rubber. However, I will keep buying this shoe. Please don't change the form and function! I am a true size 10 and the Solstice fits true to size.

Great workout shoes for lifting weights and walking. Comfortable to wear for every occasion too. These are my first pair of Altra. I tried wearing Vivobare barefoot shoes and found them to be too aggressive and my feet hurt a lot. Altra did perfect with this shoe l.

I use these shoes for running, but also for dog agility practice and competition. They are comfortable, with good soles and traction, and I LOVE the wider toe box, for tight turns in agility.

I love them! I have bunions since childhood and shoe buying is so difficult for me. So comfortable, great support. True to fit. I will be buying more. FYI so much better than Flux. Plan to buy more!
