I love these shoes, so much that I'm on my 3rd pair. But that's also part of the problem, 3rd pair in 12 months... cmon Altra! You can design a more durable shoe than this. The fabric basically falls apart on the sides and separates from the toe box. Theyre' great for about 2 months, and then on month 3 start to break apart and by month 4 you need a new pair. But I love how they fit and how they feel so I keep ordering because finding a good gym shoe is tough!

Love it for pickleball. Not very durable but like that they are light weight and not too stiff like other tennis shoes. Wish Altra would make more colors and lower the price since they only lasted a few months with 1-2x a week usage.

I bought the previous Solstice, which were great. Once the white got too dirty, I decided to buy another pair. This added toe caps and plastic which wears through the fabric much more quickly. 4 months of daily wear for my walk too and from work -- about 3 miles total, as well as weight lifting. My previous pair was good for over a year and hadn't worn through the cloth upper. Very comfortable, but not worth it for the amount of wear you get

These have a more narrow feel than the original fit which would be okay for gym use except the laces are too short and come undone easily. I wore them only indoors a few times a week for gym workouts and the tag begin to fray and fall off. This noticeable lack in quality construction was instantly alarming given the price and my careful use. My lone peaks on the other hand have stood up to abuse on the trail. Disappointing.

I'm 62 and use the Solstice X2 for cross training. They are worn indoors only on a rubber mat. Tread is coming off the bottom of both shoes. I'm so disappointed. Altra won't do anything.

I have multiple pairs of Altras that have lasted through years of hard use. These won't come close. Seams fraying, things peeling off - certainly not the crosstrainer I was looking for.

Light rain storm and the whole front of the shoe has delaminated from the sole. Very disappointed

Love this shoe! I use it primarily in my personal training sessions - also great for walking. My personal trainer loves these shoes & they're now a favorite of mine. Perfect fit & so comfortable!

I especially love the wider toe box. I actually went to a running store, got measured, and found I was wearing a shoe a whole size too small. Until now I have always worn Brooks, but I am now an Altra convert!!

I have been using these for a month in the gym for weight lifting and cross-training. They feel supportive and my plantar fasciitis is not acting up!

Originally ordered a 6 and then went a half size up and it was perfect. I have the Torins for my longer runs but I don't like them for anything else. If I'm not running, they somehow cut into my ankles. The solstice is a great shoe for CrossFit since I wanted something that would support me through short runs/HIIT/weightlifting. They're lightweight but have enough support while not being overly cushioned.

Finally found a shoe that is wide enough for my toes and is comfortable all day!

Love this product to wear to CrossFit! I have other Altras for all around activities (Lone Peak) and for day to day (Escalante) These were a great addition!

I love these shoes for tennis. I They are so flexible and comfortable. I have purchased them twice and my feet are so happy not to be in stiff restrcirive traditional tennis shoes. I also love the look of them.

These are THE most comfotable shoes ever! I love them! I have bunions and tender feet and this shoe is so comfortable they are like slippers. I do everthing in them--walk, gym workouts, pickleball, casual outings. They're also attractive. They also fit better than my last Altras. I only hope they last, as some reviewers reported material problems.

I use these shoes for lifting at the gym. Zero drop, wide toe box, comfortable like no other shoe I've tried. The toe box is the widest I've ever found and I love it. I've started using them for walking too. I'll be buying another pair for sure!

I use these shoes for kettlebell training and I absolutely love the room in toe box

I bought these shoes to accommodate orthotics for a Morton's neuroma. So happy with the wide toe box and lightweight feel.

Great Altra fit!

I can wear these all day & not have any pain on my little toe. I would buy these in every color if they had them.

I use this at my gym - which includes some running. Totally in love with them.

I wear these for pickleball. I was having heal pain and the nerve in the ball of my foot was making it swell a friend at the gym told me to buy these. I bought two pair. No pain and I can play for hours and not think about my feet! I highly recommend these shoes.

I've had foot issues for forever and always dreaded breaking in new shoes. Not a problem with my Altra's! Plenty of room for my feet and no issues breaking them in. The zero drop was a nice surprise, too! Love them!
