I have a knack for technical products that are chic enough for everyday use and these check that box. Everything about the shoe screams technicality and robustness but the design is thoughtful enough so that I can use it for any activity.
The shoe is comfortable and provides a decent amount of toe box space. The sole is extremely grippy and have yet to shown signs of wear. The insole has a fair amount of arch support and has no problem being worn for miles in any environment.

I bought this shoe as an approach shoe for a hiking trip in greece. Out of the box the shoe is stunning, comfortable and exactly what I wanted. The issues started once I started walking with them. The insole does not stay in place and keeps sliding back creating preasure in the heel and leaving the toes hanging in the front. After a while, this gap in the front started to create blisters under my toes. No matter how many times a took off the shoes and replaced the insoles they kept sliding back. I have never had this kind of issue with any other pairs of shoes. the second issue is that the rubber protecting the toe box started to split from the suede top leaving space for water to potentially infiltrate. I can understand that after taking many years of beating it could happen but it shouldn't juste after 50km in my opinion. For now the shoe is useless to me since it isn't comfortable to use.

Bought these a couple of months ago. They're the perfect all-around shoes. Basically, I wanted to be able to travel with a single pair of shoes that would be appropriate to present at a conference, but also comfortable to walk around and weather-resistant if it rains or snows. These are perfect for that. They're warm, weather-resistant, extremely comfortable out of the box, and they don't look like trekking shoes, so their appearance is more low-profile, which I like. The only thing I don't like are the shoelaces: they're flexible/stretchy and feel good, but they do require a double knot to stay tied (at least for me).

I bought this shoe after sending back the Norvan VT which is marketed as a trail running shoe but isn't tough enough to hold up to terrain. Luckily the Konseal is incredible. They are sturdy and sexy. I wear them while day hiking, mountain biking, and when going out for a drink. I also run in them but they are a little heavy. I'm no pro.

The GTX material makes the shoes waterproof, while the Vibram outsole makes the shoes durable and comfortable.
However, if you are seeking a pair of shoes for outdoor use, perhaps these aren't be a good choice. The suede material is vulnerable and not waterproof, and gets dirty very easily. A ten-minute walk on a muddy, or slush-filled trail could ruin surface of the shoes, while they are also very sensible to dust and grease. The cleaning of such leather shoes is not an easy thing. I cleaned them followed the instruction with only clean water and soft brush, but they lost color and some areas of them turns green and black.
In this context, the combination of GTX and suede leather materials creates an incongruous product positioning. While GTX provides waterproofing, the suede leather is highly susceptible to water and any kinds of stains. This means even using the GTX material, the shoes are not truly waterproof, and inclusion of GTX compromises breathability. In other words, the use of GTX is excessive and ineffective. If you are interested in these shoes, just buy the normal version.
To conclude, if you don't want to destroy the apperance of the shoes after a single use like me, then wear them only walking on clean and dry pavements. This is definitely the most disappointing product I've ever bought from Arcteryx.

Superb shoe! Very comfortable and super supple after a
few wears. The sole is very grippy even on wet rocks and inspire confidence on approaches and lower grades climbing.

Purchased over a year ago. This has become my go-to shoe. It's comfortable & resilient. Has handled approaches well, with no signs of material wearing. Comfortable enough for day-to-day casual wear

I have used these shoes for walking, hiking and e-biking. I have worn them in rain and snow. Probably the most versatile shoes I've ever owned.
Very comfortable and very stylish.
Highly recommend.

I bought these approach shoes to add to my footwear arsenal for Search and Rescue. There are times when wearing full-scale hiking boots is a bit of overkill, and these have been great. Super comfy right out of the box, they've only gotten more comfortable the more I wear them. They have fantastic grip on wet rocks and more than enough protection when charging through loose gravel and scree.

I bought these shoes two months ago, I'm really happy with the quality of the shoe, the slick silhouette allows them to function in the city as a street shoe, while doubling as a hiking shoe. I was concerned about the material getting wet, but they have been very water resistant and still look great after a few hikes in the woods and many days in the city. They age really nicely and feel fantastic.

This is now my second pair. A truly exceptional approach shoe. Able to handle technical terrain as well as remaining comfortable and supportive. My last pair I've had over 2 years and the stitching near the laces started to rip apart but this is from heavy use, shoving them in cracks and never being gentle with them. After years of having different approach shoes never lasting more than a season or two, I've finally found the one! Thanks Arc'tyrex team.

I have had this shoe for about a year now. It is very well made. Durable, comfortable and functional. I use it as an everyday shoe, as an approach shoe to go climbing and also I take it on multipitch climbs where there is a walk off since the pair does not weight that much.
The rubber has great friction on rocky terrain and with the laces properly tight they work well on easy climbs.
