I use this backpack every day for school (college) and it could not be better. The shape of the bag is very helpful in containing square/rectangular objects. Some of my favorite parts of the bag, though, aren't even shown and I almost feel like the north face is selling themselves short with how amazing this bag is. First of all, there is a small bag included on the inside that snaps onto the inside of the biggest compartment, which keeps you from having to dig around to find it. The two tech pockets are lined with an extremely high quality fleece. The small tech pocket is perfect for your phone, earbuds, etc. and it keeps everything from falling into the bottom of your bag, (the same applies to the small semi-hidden pocket behind the front straps). If you were wondering if a metal insulated 32 oz bottle can fit in the side pocket, it can. As for whether the backpack is waterproof, I was shocked at how well this backpack repels water! I spilled a whole drink in the side pocket and just stayed, didn't even drip out the seams! All of these wonderful features would be great on any backpack, but the thing that makes this backpack the best is how comfortable it is to actually wear. I got this bag 1 month ago for full price and still have no regrets, the fact that you can buy it on sale right now makes this an unbelievable deal. Get yours asap I promise you won't regret it (I certainly don't)!!

I love this bag! I really really really want to buy a second one. I used this as a diaper bag and it fits not only diapers and water bottles but coats and cold weather/hot weather gear.

This backpack has everything you need, especially when traveling. I'm able to fit all of my necessities into the backpack and yet I always seem to have a little bit more room left over when I'm done packing. It's a solid backpack, high quality and I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

Awesome, sleek backpack with tons of compartments! I took this on a trip to Europe and I loved how I could separate all my travel items.

Cannot recommend this backpack enough. I was worried it would look too big / bulky but it looks so much better in person. There are a good amount of pockets, with varying sizes, that are placed well so it's easy to keep things organized and reachable. I use it for school and I carry a lot of stuff and the weight distribution is very good, it doesn't feel crazy heavy on your shoulders like other backpacks. I was very skeptical because of the price, but I think it's 100% worth it.

I use it for commute and recently bought one more for my high school son. There are big pockets and plenty of spaces for laptop and other stuff. It looks like good for traveling,too.

I'm in love with this backpack. I have ADHD and anxiety and hyperfixated on backpack research for roughly 267 hours before shaking, sweating, hitting Confirm Order on this bag. And I've never even LOOKED at the bags sitting in abandoned shopping carts strewn across the internet. This is THE BAG of all bags. It has compartments that make SENSE. It has a soft, lined laptop sleeve area. It has a pouch that somehow fits all manner of shoes. It has a lil top compartment perfect for keys, wallets. Expanding side pouches (2!). Inner clips, a detachable small inner bag. It's the best. It's gorgeous (I have the green). It's sturdy. It's perfect. I needed an attractive bag I could take traveling and to work. I work part time in a greenhouse but also attend fancy office meetings. And it's water resistant! If you're reading this in the middle of a hyperfixation spiral, just use my 267 hours of research and get this backpack.

1 month of using bag almost daily, and it's still just as good as new. Lots of pockets, but not bulky. Area for 15" laptop and iPad, as well as padded area for phone or small devices. Detachable inner zip pocket makes for a great portable hand purse/toiletries/makeup bag. Bottom shoe compartment is spacious and sizeable for other uses (e.g., nursing steth case). 2 side bottle pockets expand via metal clasp and hold 24oz metal water canisters each comfortably. Shoulder straps are padded comfortably and sturdy. Top handles make for picking up bag sturdily. Bag has minimal/no elasticity, but not a downer as fixed size makes for a well-packed bag. Great for students/daily travel. Waterproof.

I was on the hunt for the perfect work backpack and this one IS IT. The description and pictures of this backpack on the North Face website don't do it justice. It has pockets literally everywhere, thoughtfully placed features, and sits up well on its own (backpacks that are front heavy and fall over are a big pet peeve of mine). It's comfortable to wear and easy to access everything. I haven't been this impressed with a purchase in a long time. It's high quality and I get excited to use it. Is perfect for my 15" laptop, which has its own dedicated pocket. The only negative feedback I would give is that the waterbottle pocket could be slightly larger. My 32 oz hydro flask (with the rubber sleeve at the bottom) barely fits - I have to wiggle it in. All in all, I highly recommend this backpack and would 1000% buy again.

I use this for my Disneyland backpack - all the things I may use at the park go here. LOTS of pockets and separate spaces to stay organized. The two bottle holders on the side are a good size and tall - your water bottle will not fall out!! I will buy another one of these for school for sure. Perfect size for a college student, too.

I love this as a work and travel bag. It has great storage inside compartments for everything I need to carry. I can fit everything I need in this bag, and it looks great. I love it!

Love this backpack. I initially bought it for work, but it's also great for travel and the gym. It's so much roomier than I expected. 10/10

I wasn't sure about this backpack before ordering it, because the handles at the top seemed too prominent for me. But it had the features I was looking for shoe compartment, laptop sleeve, many pockets, etc. and I've been LOVING it since receiving it! It's quickly become my go-to backpack for gym to office days, and I'm excited to take it on upcoming work trips. There are a number of pockets: laptop sleeve, main compartment (with an additional sleeve compartment in it), small zippered pocket at the top for keys etc., two front zippered pockets, and two water bottle compartments. It seemed a lot at first but I've found each to be useful. Also sleek enough for use in work contexts, and I've found the handles to actually be really functional/useful.

This is such a great backpack. I bought it mainly as a laptop bag for work and was worried my laptop would be too big but it fits perfect. The bag has so many different storage pockets that I can use it as a diaper bag and for travel and helps keep everything organized. Love the color and style as well.

I LOVE this backpack. I commute to the city for work via train everyday and this holds everything I need to be comfortable the whole trip. Laptop sleeve fits my large laptop, and the bottom show pouch is great for my lunch, preventing anything that might leak to get on my work materials. The side water bottle holders fit my tall 25oz water bottle without pushing into the main compartment of the backpack. I love the loops all over the bag as well that allow me to attached lights for when walking at night. The website doesn't show the best images of the bag, but Youtube has a great review of it from another consumer.

I purchased the Never Stop tote bag and didn't think I'd ever love a bag as much. Ended up buying the backpack and it's even better! I get so many compliments on it, and as a bag junkie I have to say it's my all time fave!

I bought this as a climbing gym bag. The main pocket has plenty of room for a harness, gloves, sandals, and small mesh pockets for snacks and other things. The separate pocket on the bottom holds 2 pairs of climbing shoes for me. There's also a padded laptop sleeve on the back that I use for a change of clothes, the side pockets hold my yeti water bottle. Overall perfect for climbing; so glad I got it!
