Love this backpack! I especially love the deep and durable water bottle holders, the compartment for shoes, and that it is resistant to water. I have already used it in the rain, and it protected the items within my backpack from getting wet. I also love that it is made of recycled materials!

Got the limited edition Wasabi color, which I loved. Overall, pack is fantastic - use it for work travel. Unfortunately within 2 months the zipper teeth of the main compartment broke off.

I searched high and low for a backpack to replace my worn-out laptop briefcase. I own a small remodeling company and wanted a bag that would look professional and fit everything I need to carry for estimating. I looked at a wide range of styles and price points, and after too much deliberation decided to give this bag a shot. I was looking to fit my estimating laptop, iPad, portable printer with charging cable, tape measure, booties, a multitool and a couple folders of paperwork. Overall this bag has been a great fit. Not too large, not too small. I can fit everything and it doesn't look or feel bulky. The tote handles are great for grabbing and throwing the bag into the passenger seat of my truck, and the zippers look like they'll hold up well. It distributes the weight well enough, so I removed the sternum strap and the strap-keepers definitely help it look clean. There are three points of improvement. 1. The front pocket is just barely too short to fit a folder. Technically an 8-1/2 x 11 page would fit, but a folder is just a bit too tall. Missed opportunity to drastically increase functionality. 2. The interior admin panel could be moved to the front pocket, which would allow for both a tablet sleeve in the main compartment, as well as a couple extra admin pockets (i.e. more than 1 pen slot). 3. The snap closure of the tote handles could be replaced with a magnet system. The snap button works fine, but a magnet there would really step up the feel of the bag. Yes, I tried to stick a small magnet on the button but it must be aluminum and is not magnetic. Overall this has been a great bag, which I'm sure would get more attention if marketed as unisex, rather than women only.

This backpack is wonderful and I would recommend to anyone looking for a small travel pack or large purse travel alternative! While the dimensions are small enough to be used as a personal item on an airplane -- which was why I purchased it -- you can fit a TON of stuff in it. In fact, I had my laptop, 2 pairs of shoes, bag of toiletries and 2 changes of clothes, as well as my phone, keys, passport, water bottle, compression socks, electronic plugs/chords and a bag of snacks all in there with room to spare. This backpack also has at least 4 hidden zipper compartments that are not well described in the product description, but are a wonderful surprise addition. The only reason I would not give this 5 stars, is that it lacks a strap that most backpacks now have to secure it on the handle of a suitcase. This was a much needed feature I realized I missed, as I had really utilized the pack to the fullest for my trip, but was forced to carry it through the entire airport vs. being able to put it on top of my carry-on luggage to help give my shoulders a rest.

Love the color and the size of the backpack. Wish that there was a folder or paper slot or pocket in front of the laptop pocket.

I do love the backpack, have not had it very long. However, when I put shoes in the bottom, it was hard to balance and keep it upright. I will be using it more and will try to find what needs to be at the bottom for better stability.

Very good looking and spacious bag. Lots and lots of pockets. My bag is a month old so not sure about durability yet. I just wish the zippers of the main pocket opened all the way so that i could use it as an overnight bag to hold clothes too.

Love the bag and the space in the bag. I have been searching for a good travel back pack a d I will put this one to the test soon. I can not give 5 stars as I have not actually used it to see how well it will work.

Tons of organization, which is nice. But just feels cheap.

Great backpack to fit ALOT of things but you really need to make sure you put them correctly or else it gets unstable and it also gets bulky easily. Many compartments are too deep and make it difficult for quick access. Fairly reasonable weight and great color. Really think about how you'll use the backpack before buying!

Was a bit disappointed that it doesn't have the luggage handle pocket so you can attach it to your wheeling luggage.

Great quality and look but returning because the 2 snap closures at the top to secure the zip are too cumbersome to use and if you don't close them they stick up straight during wear.

In theory, this pack is great. Lots of pockets/compartments (which is what I LOVE about a bag), but the big "shoe" pocket as the base of the bag is a bust. It makes the pack wonky and it won't set down well unless it's SUPER packed. If it's super packed, it bulges upward into the main compartment and cuts the room in that part down so much you can barely fit anything in it. I bought it for my carry-on for a trip to Europe and ended up not using it because it was awkward and didn't hold much at all. Now I am stuck with it since it's been a tad over the 60 days and NF won't take it back. I'll stick with other brands that strive to have their customers like their products.

I am disappointed in the backpack straps. For the price I expected something with a little more support. I am returning the backpack. I never thought I would be disappointed in a North Face product as I am a huge fan of their products.
