I wore this 24/7 in the winter time to keep my feet from getting wet during early morning hikes and in the rain. Very light weight and very comfortable. Keeps my feet warm when it's suppose to and keeps the water out as well. For an all weather boot I think it breaths wonderfully too. I've worn these for full days hikes and have no complaints. I've had my pair for over a year and they're still going strong. If mine every go out, I'll definitely be buying a new pair.

Just hiked two days in Colorado and loved these boots!
Quandary 14er was very rocky and steep. This was by far the most comfortable and natural feeling boot I've owned and it handled the very uneven footing great!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I purchased a pair 2 years ago. They lasted 6-8 months. I was very disappointed. This past week I went into to buy another pair of work shoes and out of curiosity asked to try on another pair of these. I almost cried when I put them on. All the stiffness and pain that I felt in my hips disappeared. I will keep buying these until they no longer make them.

Super comfortable, doesn't make "popping" noise like the rest of these complain artists whine about. Highly recommend

The lone peak boots aren't as comfortable as the Olympus 4s but still very comfortable and enjoyable to wear.

I used the low top Altras for quite a while. Loved them. But, after I tore the tendons in my foot from to many miss steps, I needed to move to something with more ankle support. I could not be happier with this choice. Not only are they light, but they give great upper support. Now I just have to wait till my surgery is over and my foot is healed to really put these to the test. Thank Altra for the wide toe boxes.

I have worked for a high end moving company for 5+ years and finding the right shoe is very difficult. I have tried timberland pro boots (too heavy), Columbia high top trail runners (literally blow apart in 2 months) and a bunch of different Nike running shoes. This Altra mid top is BY FAR the best shoe I've ever owned. I invest in my feet and this was a great investment.
An average day consists of 25,000 steps and at least 50 flights of stairs sometimes up to 300 flights of stairs a day. We work year round in all types of weather. These shoes have withstood the absolute beating and have excelled. I love the wide toe and the extra grip on the bottoms. I even sprained my ankle recently and the higher ankle support helped work through it.
If you need a shoe that works hard buy these!

This shoes makes you feel like you are walking barefoot. I don't comment on products often but this shoe is amazing. Get yourself a pair. I'm going to buy myself a second pai.

Perfect speed hiking shoe. Fast with the ankle support I need. These shoe give me the confidence to attack those climbs. Speed down those drops. Light with good grip and the Zero drop I have been use to since 2014.

I bought my first pair of Altras 2 months ago, the Lone Peak 5. I had been using another brand for years but as I've aged , I have found I need a more spacious toebox. Had heard of the benefits of zero drop shoes and knew of the famous " Footshape " toebox. First trot in the LP 5's and I was sold !!! Moving forward 2 months and multiple models later I needed something for the harsh winter weather here in Ohio. The Lone Peak All Weather's seemed like the the smart move to make.
Wow !!! At 56 years old I'm hard to impress but these shoes deliver the goods !!! Everything I loved about the Lone Peak and more !!! The Event waterproof lining is the real deal. The shoe keeps my feet dry and warm on the wet/slushy trails. The extra support of the mid-height upper is excellent. They run a hair snugger but when utilized in the conditions they were made for I feel that is a plus.
Altra, your onto something here and it's good to see that we will see a Olympus " boot " in 2022 !!! Keep up the good work. The Lone Peak All Weather Mid is another great tool in my arsenal of Altra footwear.

I have loved all my Altra running shoes, but wanted to try how the mid ankle height would feel. They do make me feel more secure and the weight compromise is not an issue. Even though they are a trail shoe, I use them on the road with no issues (hoping Altra will design a mid ankle road shoe in the not too distant future). All of my previous Altras have been size 10, but I had to go to a 10.5 in this model. btw, I have a narrow foot, but really appreciate the toe box space in the Altra brand.

One of the best pair of hiking boots I've bought! The ergonomic toe is soooo comfortable. I shattered both my heals in a car accident and these and my hoka shoes are the only thing I can where longer than 30 mins. So glad I found these. Perfect!!

I first purchased the size 9.5 mens as I wear an 11 woman's but they ran short. I now have the size 10 mens and they are so comfortable! Just had surgery on my foot a month ago and these are awesome. I run in Altas all the time but for walking on ice and snow I need traction and ankle protection. I wish Altra made higher boots for deeper snow! Haven't tested their waterproofing ability yet but they keep my feet warm!

For more years than I care to mention, I've been looking for light but durable all-weather trail runners offering style and support with a more intuitive fit. With these Altras, I have finally succeeded!
Bought pairs of two other low-tops (Timp and Alpine) on other sites that I also love. After stints with Brooks, Mizuno, and Karhu, I am definitely sticking with Altra for the foreseeable future. Found my new favorites.

After foot surgery I needed something with a little more support than the lone peak 5; which are perfect too by the way. I've only had them for a week but they fit well, which is difficult for me to find and they seem to work for running with my dog at the park and around the house. So I can't find anything to complain about with these shoes, just waiting to see how they handle the winter, but they are Altras, so they'll probably do fine. They fit is more to form than say the older Lone Peaks but it's an improvement just don't over tighten. Buy them. I have an awful time finding shoes that fit or work and these do.

This is my third pair. They the footbed seams to hold up pretty well. If you are hiking in warm weather, the waterproof version can get a little hot if you are hiking in warmer weather, but this is to be expected with any waterproof shoe. I am pretty sure these are some of my favorite shoes of all time. You feet are finally free inside them.

One of the best fitting shoes ever. I hope Altra stops narrowing the toe-box each year. It's perfect now. If they can bolster the construction to last longer, they've built the best shoe of all time.

I have a funked up foot due to an accident. Shoes have been an on going problem for me. I found these and have not bought another brand since. I have 2 pair of shoes and a pair of the all weather boots. They are very durable. I work an 8 hour day on concrete and have not had an issue. They are extremely durable. When they get dirty I use the power washer on them and they come out good as new. I wear a 10 1/2 and they are wide and comfy and true to size. They will not disappoint. Good for hiking and running too!

So far better materials than before, the lone peak 4s cracked at the fore foot area. The ties and laces are better especially at the top. The width looks to be the same and I have wide feet. I did size up from 8.5 to 9 and they feel great. Haven't worn them on a rainy day yet but I dont expect them to be totally water proof, will see. Still a good shoe.
