I am a typical size 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 in these. I thought they looked so cool and the cushioning was great - I was super excited to use them. However, after walking around my apartment building for about half an hour to try them out, I developed a blister on the inside of my left heel. I suspect they are wonderful shoes, but just did not fit my foot comfortably, so I returned. I think they may run just slightly big. The purchasing/returning was easy - so I would recommend you try them even though it didn't work for my feet.

Just wasn't good for me. Not a comfortable fit and made my feet hurt. Was really looking forward to using them for comfort.

These Stinson ATR 6 are narrower and tighter than the previous years, Stinson ATR 5. I was so disappointed. They hurt my feet. I returned them. If you liked the Stinson ATR 5's you might not like the Stinson ATR 6.

These shoes were not comfy at all. Definitely disappointed! My feet hurt after a couple of hours in them.

These Stinson ATR6 shoes are very comfy at first but after a few hours it feels like there is a bar stretching across the arch of my feet and then they are very uncomfortable. Love the bondi for 12 hr nursing shifts.

1. Too loose around the ankle. 2. Not enough space in the toe box, not available in wide. 3. Cushion is insufficient or the sole is too hard, made my knees hurt. 4. Cushion is not balanced, much thicker on instep. I'm medium arch - do not need arch support, made my feet hurt due to pressure imbalance. 5. The sizing on the shoes I got was off, they're 1/4" smaller than size I ordered. I had to return these. I'm a firm believer in no "break in" period, if a shoe isn't comfortable right out of the box then it's not a comfortable shoe. Not the shoe for me.

Quality shoe, but too big and heavy for me to use for treadmill runs. Returned shoes, and ordered ASICS.

These are definitely NOT the ATR5s. I ordered a pair through a local retailer. I didn't even walk in them. Near the instep area, down around where the lacing begins, the pressure against my bunion area was incredible. There is no pressure against the bunions in the ATR5 at all. These shoes looked nice and size-wise are the same as the other Stinsons, but what a shock! I can't believe Hoka messed this shoe up like this.

The ATR 5 was my first pair of Hokas and I felt such relief. I was excited to try the 6, but they were just not comfortable. I'm glad I could find the 5's on clearance and get another pair.

I'm a healthcare professional and have seen many coworkers wear and also give great reviews when asked about this brand of shoe for support and comfort. I bought this shoe with great expectations and was sadly disappointed when they were not met. Starting from the foot up the back of the shoe for me did not offer great support, my plantar fasciitis flared, and at the end of a 12hr shift, I suffered from great pain and also lower leg fatigue. Again I'm sure that this shoe works for most and in fact, it does just not the one for me! Hopefully, I can return it, if not someone at Good Will will be truly blessed this holiday season!

Ordered these shoes in July for work. I only wore them to work and I work part time. It’s unfortunate these shoes didn’t even last 5 months. The side of the stole started lifting up. Like the glue was wearing away. For a shoe to be so expensive you would home it would have lasted at least 1 year. Unfortunately it was my first and may be my last pair of Hokas. Thank you Zappos for helping me process a refund and return label.

While everyone loves this shoe brand, when I wore the shoes, with appropriate socks, and walked 3 miles, I got blisters on the bottom of my big right toe and the bottom of my 4th right toe. I'd be returning these shoes, if I could.

On my tight foot only, this shoe rubbed so bad that I have a giant blister on my inner heel. There is a slight gap where the foot bed insert & the inner shoe wall meet & that's exactly where the rubbing occurred. Sadly, these are going back.

The worst Hoka shoe I have owned, had to question if it was genuine or a knock-off. I sincerely wish I had sent them back, they are so uncomfortable, I thought they would feel better once I broke them in but I was SO wrong. I should have known better, every other Hoka shoe I have owned was comfortable from day 1, these still hurt my feet months later. Toebox is narrower than other Hoka shoes too.

Do not purchase from this company. You will receive worn shoes and then you return for a replacement and get some shoes you never even heard of. You return those and this is over 2 weeks at this point and you apply for refund because after all the time you took to get a pair of shoes you wanted and couldn't get them you give up. You ask for a refund and they send email saying it was refunded and then you don't get the refund. You call and they say they gave it but you didn't get it. I put it BBB complaint. I will never order from this crappy company again. Oh and I do what I need to do to get my refund!!!!

The problem with these trail shoes is the squeaking. I couldn't stand it. They just kept squeaking. I love how they feel on my fit but you also have to walk or run with wide stance so you don't trip yourself.

I fell in love with my Gaviota 2 Hokas and my feet appreciated them. After a good wear, I wanted to order my second pair of Gaviotas, except that model had been changed to a new version. The new version was extremely uncomfortable and very different than its predecessor. So, I bought the Stinson ATR 6. What a big mistake and poor quality. In less than a year of use more like within 6 months the plastic frame for the back of the shoe started to bend inward and cut right thru the lining and now every time I move my foot it cuts into my heel. The support is not great as I have had more ankle problems since I have been wearing them. I stopped wearing them altogether and my ankle has been feeling a lot better. What a waste of $$$! very disappointed and now I have to shop for a new brand!

I have worn Stinsons since the very first one released by Hoka. I have tried many of Hokas designs but have always come back to the Stinson. I have owned more than 50 pairs. I wore them when my coworkers would make fun of my clunky clown shoes. Now all of them wear Hokas but we are hospital workers and couldn't survive without them. However, there is something wrong with the Stinson 6, it seems to be much too tight across the top of the foot. I bought 4 pairs hoping it would change. That is how sold I have always been on the Stinson. I have never had a shoe push into the top of my foot like this and unfortunately it created horrible arthritis in the top of my foot. I have now had to take injections for the pain but it can not fix it. I had to go to my closet and pull out one of my old Stinson 5s and that is what I am currently wearing. I keep waiting on a Stinson 7 but I am about to give up with no clue what I can change into wearing I have worn Stinsons so long. The cushion and the width are superb but the depth of the shoe is off some how or the arch pushes my foot up so much that it makes it fit too tight across the top. Please fix this problem! I can not work without my Hokas!
