I have used this shoe exclusively for hiking because it provides just a little better traction than Bondis. I have been able to hike so many more miles than previous years. However, this shoe would benefit so much from a Vibram Sole. It's breathable enough and the perfect summer hiking shoe, I just wish there was more traction.

I only wear Hokas due to Morton's Neuroma, and only the most cushioned, the Bondi. I needed a shoe with more traction, and the Stinson was the closest in your lineup since for whatever reason, you do not make a waterproof non-leather shoe in a WIDE (why not????). I find the Stinson 6 to be as cushioned as the Bondi 7 (the Bondi 8 is ridiculously clownlike), supportive, but although wider than regular width, could really use an actual WIDE version since the forefoot material does not stretch at all, thus not 5 stars. Yes, women with wide feet hike.

This is my 4th pair of Stinson's. The other 3 pairs are awesome. This pair fits oddly. The right heel is a little low, and the right shoe fits oddly across the instep. Otherwise I love HOKA's, and Stinsons in particular because of the late toe break.

The trainers have great comfort and padding towards the back of the foot. However, that is lacking at the front, where I need it the most.

These shoes have a good style and I like them. Very comfortable and makes the ground feel a lot softer. They appear/look big but that is for the good support!

Bought these for trail & road hiking. Very comfortable and stable. The width of the soles do make them look huge though! The cushioning really helps during and after walking! My feet, hips, and knees feel better after trying these for a few eeks now! The bottoms are soft and the tread / though agressive will probably wear fairly quick ~ we'll see. I like them!

I bought this model to replaced my ART 4 which are not made anymore. So far it has been a good experience.

I love these shoes but I swear...the colors. I just feel how awesome they are on my feet. They are amazing! Just don't look at them.

I previously bought the same shoe which offered a wide option. When I needed to purchase another pair that option was no longer available. When I contacted Hoka, I was told I would not notice the difference and that the medium width would work. Well, there is a difference. Will I wear these shoes until I need another pair, at the price I paid, the answer is yes. Your customer support staff needs to be better informed.

Love the shoe. I love to walk 15 to 20K steps a day. I also travel to places where I walk several thousand steps daily. Hoka helped me walk through Egypt, Jordan, Petra and Greece comfortably. I have hip issues that will eventually require replacement surgery. Hoka plush fit allow me to prolong my ability to walk comfortably and delay surgery a while longer. I have tried other max cushioning shoes. Hoka is the absolute best. I would have given a 5 rating but I could not get color I wanted.

This shoe is the most amazingly comfortable I've ever owned. Unfortunately, it looks like it's being discontinued. My only complaint is that the colors available (blue; charcoal with orange sole) made my feet look huge. Please bring back this exact style, in some colors that minimize size!!

I love these shoes and they are so comfortable. They have helped tremendously with my heel spurs. The only problem is they wear out so fast. They start with cushioned bottoms and good grip. After just a few weeks the cushion starts to wear out and the bottoms flatten out and lose their traction.

These are probably great for trails, but I bought them for work. Too heavy for all day wearing, my ankles kill me at the end of the day. But cushion wise they are AMAZING!!! My feet never ever hurt

Great shoe. Very comfortable. I have Plantar Fasciitis so while they are comfortable, sometimes my feet still ache in them for a bit initially but are fine after the first 2-3 min. For those with flat feet -because your foot spreads out a bit more, you may need a wider width as I have noticed that if I was to walk for long, extensive walks or if I was an avid runner, these might rub my instep, but overall these are great for being on my feet all day or walking around the neighborhood.
