I love these shoes! I ordered my normal size in Birks, 42 and they fit like a glove. I have been wearing them around the house to break them in. The only complaint I have is the part where the buckle attaches to the toe strap irritates the top of my foot... I can loosen the strap and it feels better but then I feel that the strap is too loose. I am going to purchase moleskin to place on the inside of the strap and this should alleviate the issue. I am 5'11" and have never felt comfortable wearing any type of heel... but I feel confident and sexy in these and more importantly I do not walk like a newborn calf! I have a regular width foot and have never been able to fit in narrow shoes, so even though these say narrow they are not.

Originally I ordered my size which is a 7 or 7 1/2 in their sizing is a 38 they were to big there was about 1/4 of an inch of the heel that was extended out from my foot which looked funny so I ordered the 37 which is a 6 in Birkenstock’s and they fit perfect ! I love them I’m a hairstylist and they are great for standing all day and they are the perfect height. I highly recommend these to any lady who appreciates a comfortable shoe that is attractive!

LOVE THIS shoe, I have super wide feet, wear 9.5/10 usually have to size up to fit the shoe with my wide foot. I ordered 41s after reading all the review that shoe runs wider that usual. Mind you, I could't find regular burks that my foot fit comfortably. I had to adjust the with to the largest with and the shoe felt amazing! I also have high arches and ankle strap feels tight on my foot. I'll have a local she repair shop add one more hole on the ankle strap for better comfort.

Loved these. I’ll be wearing them all the time this summer!!! I was worried the narrow width would be too narrow, but nope!!

These run about a size larger, but they're comfortable! They look nice with various outfits and provide good arch support. Much easier to break in than your usual Birks.

I normally wear a 39 in Birkenstock but I exchanged for a 40. The 39 gave me the best support but my toe was almost over the edge. Adjusting the buckle helped keep my toes within the shoe. Love the style, sexy and it's wide enough to support my foot. Normally my arch falls off the side of shoes. Not with Birkenstock ? Worth the $150. Blush color matches ALL of my summer clothes.

I'm usually a 9 but I bought an 8 and they fit perfectly! Very pleased with my purchase :)

I absolutely love love these sandals. I can’t say it enough. I’ve had ankle ligament reconstruction surgery on both ankles and didn’t think I could wear platforms or heels again. These are the first shoes that don’t hurt my ankles. They stay securely on my foot and have a nice platform so they dress up well. I’ve received many compliments on these! I listened to the reviews on the size and ordered a full size smaller than normal (ordered a size 35 for my size 6 foot). They fit perfectly and work great for my narrow foot. If you have a pretty wide foot, these probably won’t work for you. Thank you Papillio/Birk for making these!!! I want them in black now too!

There are cute Birkenstock sandals — who knew?!? I’m a longtime Birkenstock devotee, but I’ve never thought they were particularly attractive. I live in my soft footbed Florida sandals in the summer and my Boston Shearling clogs all winter. Buying summer sandals is always a real hassle, since I need to wear an orthotic if there isn’t really strong arch support… so finding an attractive and supportive sandal is super hard. And a lot of them that start with out feeling l supportive feel much less supportive a couple months in after daily wear. I just noticed these sandals and was shocked to see Birkenstock made a heeled sandal that was attractive enough to wear for less casual times. So I decided to try them. I bought the same size I wear in my other Birkenstocks. Right out of the box they were super comfortable— even with a higher heel than I’ve worn in years (decades?). Birkenstock support in a cute sandal — I’m thrilled with my purchase!

Wider than other Papillio narrows, particularly in the ball of the foot area. Cut for a flat/shallow yet wide foot.

I love the way these look and feel. Very comfortable like all my Birkenstock’s, just a little more dressy with the heel. Very happy with the purchase and I know they’ll last!

Super cute and comfy. Definitely wider than the “ narrow” designation suggests as I have a wide foot and these are perfect. The only thing is that the upper strap doesn’t fit around the ankle really. I have slender ankles, and I couldn’t even get it into the last hole. I finally had to pull it on my foot, stretching it out, which was a pain that took a solid 3 minutes per foot. The strap needs to be about an inch longer and to have a couple more holes. Anyone who has fat or thick ankles will have a hard time. I also got these shoes in 2 sizes and had the same issue with both, so I don’t know that the size will correspond to a more forgiving/longer strap .

Shoes were very uncomfortable right out of the box, but I assumed, after reading other reviews, that it would improve after it conforming to my feet. That did not happen - it actually got worse. I have a narrow foot, and the toe buckle hurts my feet. Even adding moleskin, as someone suggested, did not help. After wearing the shoes for several hours, they became more uncomfortable. The arch support is not what I expected. I would not recommend these shoes. Sorry I cannot send them back as I have already worn them outside!

First let me say I’m SUPER picky and have foot pain so shoes are an investment for me. As a Gen X-er, I’m resistant to wearing old lady looking orthotics, but refuse to wear shoes that hurt just because they’re cute. I bought these to wear for my son’s graduation and they were comfortable right out of the box. I have extremely high arches and have foot pain on the ball of my feet and these wedges have perfect support. I’m on my feet at work quite a bit and even after only 1 or 2 wears, these are typical Birkenstock comfort. This is my first pair of Birk wedges, but they had been recommended to me by a friend whose foot doctor said the wedge cups the heel and takes pressure off the arch. They’re expensive so I cannot say I’d turn around and buy another pair right now, but I definitely would if my wallet allowed. The yellow is gorgeous and neutral enough to wear with more than you would think. I can’t wait to get them even more worn in because I think they’ll only get better and better and softer and softer. So so cute!!!

I love these shoes but the heel is just too tall for me. It’s actually about 3”.

Walked nearly a mile up and down hill my first day. Didn’t feel a blister or ache. I ordered the narrow as I have skinny feet and narrow heels. I size down to a 37 within I also do in the Gizeh sandals and I feel like they are too long otherwise. Amazing and neutral. Love the gold detail

Absolutely love these wedges. They are extremely comfortable! The footbeds are buttery soft and feel amazing. If you wear classic birks, stick with your usual size. I wear a 37 in birks and the 37 in these was perfect.

The left shoe (top) buckle is crooked and doesn't work correctly. I'm very upset because I wanted these new shoes for traveling, leaving Friday May 12th and now I have to return them and won't get a new pair in time for Friday's travel. : (

Perfect blend of style and comfort!! Great arch support and they look super cute! I’m thrilled to find a sandal that actually looks as good as it feels without looking like an “old lady shoe.” My only complaint is I wish they wouldn’t emboss the leather in the back with their large logo.

Fit and size - I am in between a 7.5 and 8, so I wound up taking the size 38 (7-7.5) vs 39 (8-8.5)... it's a tad too short but the next size up was a tad too large and felt more chunky on my foot, so I went smaller. I really love these shoes... very comfortable! Wedge height is great, innersole is so comfortable and supportive, the innersole leather feels so nice. So happy I have these to wear (my first Birkenstocks).

This is a beautiful sandal. The footbed is the perfect width--so often with this type of footbed, it ends up too narrow on my arch. Great arch support, too. Not sure I can make it fit, though. When I tighten the strap over the toes, it's too tight. Going to order a size down. These are 10s, I wear a 9.5 or 10 and due to foot surgery, my right foot is a whole size smaller than my left, making it hard to fit.

i love them and they are super comfy. I feel like I have pretty thin ankles but I have to wear the strap on the widest hole.
