I bought these for walking around town, as well as snowshoeing and hiking. They are super comfortable, and I can definitely wear them all day for all my activities!

I was looking for a good hiking boot to hike the Inca Trail in Peru this summer. I haven't done that hike yet, but I've put a few miles on the Kaha to break it in and experiment with socks. The Kaha fits true to size, perhaps a little bit on the narrow side, which is good for me but maybe not for everyone. It really hasn't needed any breaking in at all. The high top provides good ankle support while being very comfortable. The arch support is just average, but I put my own orthotics in all my shoes anyway. I've intentionally walked through some puddles to test the waterproofing and my feet stayed dry. Overall, the Kaha seems to be just the boot I was looking for.

Good job, HOKA, you finally made a neutral black hiking boot for women! Am still waiting for a neutral color in the TOA, because I am afraid the Kaha is a little high for me around the ankle, and I think the Toa would fit me better. IF if came in a neutral color--- like beige, black, grey, or olive green (hint, hint).

I have multiple styles of Hokas, and these don't disappoint. I'm doing long distance hiking in wet weather with a heavy pack. They have support without being too heavy. I love the cushion. I have narrow feet, so I usually prefer the Speed Goats, but I got used to the wider toe box.

This is my second pair of this particular model,as on the first pair the sole is wearing off after about 200 miles of hiking in moderate terrain ( that s about 2 years of weekend hiking ) . This Hoka model works great for me because of plantar fasciitis. I can fit my custom orthotics inside the boots, they are very comfortable, best cushioning , good grip.

I wish i would have got the lower cut boots as these pinch the outside portion of my ankle when walking sode hill. I tested these boots out this hunting season and that is my only complaint. If anyone has a suggestion how to lace up these boots so they won't pinch your ankle please let me know. Otherwise these boots kept my feet dry in melting snow and 17 degree weather. I wore toe warmers anytime temp was below 28 degrees and ot worked great in them. I would recommend these boots as they felt great on my feet.

Having been an avid Hanwag Tatra user for a number of years I was looking for a replacement and alternative.
Both the Tatra’s and Sky Kahas are sublimely comfortable but it very different ways.
In the tatras you feel very sure footed, they feel robust like they are built to last, under foot you soon get used to the rocking motion of heel to toe and the rigidity feels more like that of a clog.
With the Sky Kahas the really do feel like walking on cushions with decent support around the ankle but with room for your foot to move around.
Fashioned more like a stepped up Trainer compared to the tatras more classic design im not to sure I will get five years use from a single pair, with heavy use.
But the saving in weight and with them being more suited to daily use im sure in a short period of time they will prove to be a wise choice.

Overall very comfortable, as I expected, since I love my Hoka One One Clifton sneakers for their comfort. I’m underwhelmed on the arch support, after trying them on...the Cliftons have a much more noticeable arch support. I hope it’s not an issue...haven’t tried them on a hike yet...bought them for an upcoming Alaska trip. Also bought a men’s pair for my husband. He liked them out of the box - but hoping we still like them once we’ve used them in Alaska. For the price...was just hoping to be more impressed with arch support...without having to add some arch support inserts on my own.

I wear an 8 in every HOKA ever worn so I ordered these in an 8. Unfortunately they were to big so I never got to give them a try.

I completed a 30K Ruck March in these boots and they held up great during training and on the day of the race. Super comfortable.

The fit and size was excellent and I loved the color. The only thing wrong was that as I walked, the left boot make a funny sound. It was loud and it was irritating. Everything else was so great, that I considered keeping them anyway, but ultimately couldn't put up with the noise. I purchased the same product in different color and it is awesome! 5 stars all around.

I have been a Hoka One One fan for years...they make the ONLY running shoes I'll put on my feet. So, of course, when I needed a hiking boot, I thought there was no need to look anywhere else but Hoka One One. I have no doubt these boots are comfortable and of good quality, however, they are being returned entirely based on their style and size. They are massive, and look like ski boots on my feet. At 5'2", I felt like a clown!

I bought these boots for hiking/backpacking but have so far only worn them on longish walks around town. The fit is great for me - narrow heels and wide toe box is just what I need. The insoles are well-cushioned with sufficient arch support and are positioned below the foot box so there is good stability. They are very light and the ankle collar comes up high enough to stabilize the ankles and Yay! they are waterproof. I'd give 5 stars but will wait till I test them thoroughly in the field.

These boots are very well cushioned, good ankle support, keep your feet dry on the trail, my only issue I had with them was downhill I found that my feet slid forward jamming my toes into the front. Retied them several times but made for a very uncomfortable hike down.

Bought shoes for all around easy farm living, love it, but have to say the lacing hooks at top of shoe are bad engineering, can get laces in without struggle, otherwise love hoka,

Went on a 14 mile hike the first time I wore them! They felt a little big so I added a shoe insert! Today I did a 10 mile hike on the AT! Now they are perfect! I usually bought a size 10 with other hiking boots, these are running a little large. A 9.5 would have probably been big enough.

I am a mail carrier on a 12 mile a day walking route. These boots keep me comfortable all day. If I would complain about anything, it would be that they are not as waterproof as I might wish.

I am a long time Hoka shoe fan and was so excited to get these for dog walking, etc. here in New England since my Hoka running shoes are mesh and not as warm. I am a solid 10.5 women's in Hokas and found these to be a tad big. The length is similar to my running shoes but the toe box is wider, so coupled together I felt they were on the large size. Just ordered the 10's and am keeping my fingers crossed! They were super comfy for the very short time I had them on.

I am a diehard hoka fan! i have plantar fasciitis so the neutral-plush-early stage rockers are seriously a life saver. no pain. get up and go. I bought these hiking boots because these are the only hokas with the 3 key points I need.
i love the boots. however I have 1 hitch which rubbed my outside above my ankle raw and is bruised. the second day my skin above my heel was irritated. the lining they use to finish off the top edge of the boot is tipped inward. i have currently taped and pulled this whole piece around the top edge and pulled it outward. I am hoping after a winter of doing this is will be worn in and I can remove the tape. since i placed the tape, they feel great!

I am a FedEx delivery driver and these shoes have been a game changer. The exaggerated vibram bottom offers amazing joint support. The shoes offer ankle support which came in handy. (being that I broke my ankle earlier this year). And these shoes are amazingly true to size. My only issue is the ankle support on the back of the shoe is constantly rubbing the back of my ankle, makes it's mildly uncomfortable. Otherwise great product.

Good hiking shoe with ankle support. Only thing is the arch support is to far back and hits in the wrong place. will need additional insert to correct.

I live in the mountains, so I need something that keeps my feet dry and warm, and these fit the bill. They are so comfortable I forget to take them off when I'm ready to put my feet up on the couch. Just wish they had a little more cushion. Ottherwise, perfect.
