I wore these twice, for short periods (20-30 mins).
The back strap is not adjustable and stretched so much the heel hangs off the back and the whole foot is sitting way far back on the shoe. They're like floppy clown shoes.
I'm really bummed as these are the only Teva sandals with a vibram sole. I prefer Teva but will have to go with another brand.

Love these sandals, they're insanely comfortable without looking like grandma shoes. I know Tevas have become "trendy" but usually the fashionable ones are the basic Original Universal style. I wanted the same kind of look with a bit more support so I could wear them for long periods of time and especially for summer hikes. These are PERFECT!
The white stripe along the bottom makes them look sleek and cool, the straps have an extra comfort padding along them (unlike the Original Universal style) and they still come in cool colors. I got the green with peach accents. They didn't require any breaking in, and my feet weren't even a little sore after walking around/standing in them for hours. I'm 22 and didn't want the super chunky, frumpy looking ones, so these were a perfect fit.
My ONE complaint is that the back strap of the shoe slides down my foot a bit almost off my heel but not quite, and my foot slides back in the shoe instead of staying perfectly centered. If I tighten the middle strap it helps a bit, but the back strap is not adjustable itself so I can't fix the actual problem. However, they don't actually fall off it just feels a little awkwardly loose but I'm getting used to it.

I got these to wear out and about and to Disney as we are passholders with kids here in FL. We do a ton of walking and I have always loved my Teva mush flip flops that I've had for years but wanted a more secure 'shoe.' One thing I was concerned about was slipping in the rain since we get torrential downpours almost every day in Summer, so I was excited to see the Vibram soles. They're super grippy and still really cute!! These Tevas are extremely comfortable, super cute, and the sizing is perfect. I usually size down to a 7 in sandals and flip flops. I'm regularly a 7.5/8 in sneakers and running shoes although I prefer sizing down. 7 in Toms, 7.5 in vans or converse, 8 in Nike. The 7 fit perfectly! My heel and toe are perfectly at the edge and I've tightened the toe strap enough so my foot doesn't slide forward. The heel strap is perfect on me and not too loose. I have wider feet, although I normally still wear a B width, I prefer shoes with a wider toe box. These hit all the marks! The neoprene is luxurious and they are super adorable on! The footbed gives your feet a little massage with every step!

These are an amazing upgrade from the original universals, which I've worn for years. There is a lot more padding and support in these, which makes a huge difference when walking long distances. My Tevas are the only shoe I wear for about 5 months out of the year, so the difference is definitely worth it. I got my normal shoe size, 8W, and they fit great. Broke them in with a 5 mile hike and had no discomfort whatsoever. My only complaint (and it is SMALL) is that the ankle straps are very long and hang off the shoe quite a bit, and I don't even have particularly small ankles. Other than that small detail, these are amazing! Great for hikes, water activities, camping, or just wearing around town. My holy grail shoe!

I bought these in a size 7, smaller than my usual size (8) because some reviews said they run big. I did not find that to be the case and had to return them. I ended up going with a different style for the exchange, but from the try-on period in my house, had they been my proper size (my fault not Teva) these would be a wonderful everyday, all day sandal! I will Be orderIng a pair in the future in my correct size for sure!

I normally wear a size 8 in shoes/sandals, but when I received these they were huge. Decided to size down to a 7 and they fit perfect! Weird sizing for sure. But I am very happy with these! Super comfortable and stable. Highly recommend!

Bought this shoe after learning my lesson when trying hike in regular swim shoes. These shoes are great for going from land to water no matter the terrain. Highly recommend for all of your adventures!

Loving these 1 month in now! So far they are definitely worth the money and I should have bought them ages ago. I have wide feet and have trouble with them hanging off of most sandals but these fit so well!

Was skeptical but wow were these comfortable and the tread is amazing. I am usually a 7.5 in sandals and an 8 in hiking boots and got the 7 in these which fit perfectly. Definitely size down. Got the black but want the green as well! Pls make more colors. And also, the black has more of a maroon tab not pink like I was hoping for.

Love that these are so comfortable, the neoprene spots keep the straps from rubbing your feet and they're nice and cushy. Great grip for walking over wet/slippery surfaces. Only downsides: A little squeaky when walking and could use a bit more arch support.

I really love these! They are so squishy and comfortable and the neoprene feels like a dream against my skin. However, I feel like the heel strap needs to be adjustable. It doesn't quite sit right and my foot slides back so my heel sits out over the back edge. I can't fix it no matter how I tighten or loosen the other straps. These would be my forever favorite all day every day shoes if the heel strap was just a half inch forward on the sole or if I could tighten it up somehow. I've read this in a few other comments too so I know I'm not the only one. I am not returning them because there isn't a better replacement out there. I just want Teva master technicians to fix them for me and send them back so I can continue to wear them for all my waking hours.

I don't understand the sizing for this. The strap that goes over the toe portion is made for a very very thin foot bc the Velcro doesn't meet symmetrically. The straps are nicely padded and the size it true do not size down or up, just that foot strap is all wrong

I was super worried about sizing, I am a true 7.5 but after a lot a lot of review reading and measuring I went with a 7 and they fit perfectly! These are super comfortable and the support seems to be really nice. I feel like these are going to be great for light hiking and to just wear out and about.

Love love the fit and comfort. Bought them in black in a half size smaller than I normally wear sandals. Returning to get another pair in green.

I've used these for light hikes and to just go about my every day. They are incredibly comfortable with an amazing arch support. I was a little bit confused about the sizes since I tend to be anywhere between 5 and 6. So I decided to get a 5 and hoped for the best. They fit!

I am normally a size 9 and had to exchange these for an 8. They are so perfect except the straps are just a little too long, i wish i could tighten them more without it looking silly. They are perfect for everyday wear and easy hikes/walks. I also wore them all day with my standing desk working from home and they were extremely comfortable and supportive. I LOVE the cushioning under the straps, it really makes such a difference. Again, my only complained is the length of the straps and I wish I had known to size down.

It is very comfortable, I have to admit. But maybe because the surface is made of plastic material, my feet gets sweaty after wearing them for couple hours. Also, it runs large. I usually wear 5.5 or 6. For this product, I had to choose 5.

I wear a size 11 women's shoe. I have been looking for a comfortable and sturdy pair of sandals that could withstand wear and tear in the woods and water, and also look stylish enough for everyday wear. The sandals were comfortable right outside of the box. As some other reviews mention, these do run large in length but I like the extra toe space (less likely to smash a toe on a rock). The Velcro straps are too long for me when I tighten the sandals to fit my foot, but if it becomes too much of an annoyance, I will cut the extra length and re-sew the end. Because I wear such a large women's size, i am used to other aspects of a shoe being too large for me other than the length.

These sandals hold up!! I just bought my boyfriend and i some of these for a camping trip coming up. We scaled along cliffs and these had so much grip, held my feet in (obviously if you're at a vertical angle there's will be some sliding naturally), and the vibram soles are so worth it! I have really bad ankle problems, and the cushion and support these sandals had had my ankles feeling almost stronger the next day. Love love love these!
As for size, mine ended up being just right, I'm an 8.5 in women's and i decided to go with an 8 because i run more on the smaller side. But say you're a larger 8.5 i would definitely say go for the size 9.

I love these shoes, I use them for light trails, travel (they are very light), and walking the dog. I don't think I would chance it on rockier trails, they are not quite as rugged as the Terra Fi. However, I can't figure it out, but the rubber on the bottom is creating a tacky sound when I walk inside, as if I stepped in tape. It's loud enough that people turn to look, but as I use these primarily for outdoor use I just get over it and suffer the mild embarrassment. I am a 7-7.5 and I ordered a size 7. Fits true to size.

I bought these and a couple of other less expensive Teva sandals, like the midform universal, etc. In comparison to those other models, these hikers are MUCH higher quality. The entire shoe features stronger construction, a better sole, more comfortable straps, etc. Totally worth the extra money. I wish they were available in more patterns/colors. I like to wear them for everyday, casual activities, and they're good for walking on pavement. But who can actually hike in these? They're really clunky: I trip over the thick soles in tight spaces, and my feet slide all over the place (inside the sandal) in rocky terrain. I prefer hikers with lighter weight, more flexible soles for traction, more strapping to keep my foot stable and in place, and closed toe models for protection and stability on the trails. So I actually like these Teva "trail" sandals for everyday summer wear, and I use different shoes for hiking.

I wanted to love this shoes but sadly the back strap is not adjustable. That would have solved the issue for me, instead it just rubbed up and down loosely on my skinny/ bony ankle & achilles. Had to return :(

I really like them but they are way to big for me... I have another couple of different styles of teva sandals and they are all the same size (7), and fit perfect, but these ones I will have to exchange them for a smaller size.
