Brooks use to be my favorite until they started putting elastic around ankle and that hard piece of elastic or whatever it is that hits your Achilles’ tendon. The arch support was great until the ankle and heel problem became more of an issue.

nice , but for me the fit in the back of sneaker wasnt good. it was rubbing of the back if foot, i think because it was a man size. i loved the color

The fit was extremely snug in the toe box. It felt like tiny needles were hitting the nerves in the tops of my feet. I ordered these thinking they were comparable to the adrenaline 20. Wrong!!! I spent 12 hours wishing I was barefoot. Not true to size or width. It’s a shame because they are super cute and a great price. I don’t care though my comfort and ability to walk without tears in my eyes comes first!

I really wanted these to work. I LOVE the navy and peach color combo. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The tongue has very little cushioning and it sticks so far up that it left dents in the front of my ankle during the few minutes I tried the shoes on. The laces are much flimsier than Brooks normally makes. They felt like they'd end up breaking after a few months of pulling and tightening during tying. The other odd thing is the sock-like fit. I like that idea for the toe box because I have narrow feet and these fit really well in that area. However, they seemed thin and unsupportive around the ankle. I hope the redesign improves these. I did end up returning mine.

Love the old Levitates. These Leviatate 3 would be good if they diddn't have the sharp elastic around the heel and ankle. Brooks what's up with the new colors of your shoes? They are not fun anymore or comfortable

I do not like this model as much as others. The tongue slides around regardless of how tightly I tie them.

I like the style of these, but the back of the shoe rubbed my ankles so much that the skin was rubbed off after only a few miles.

I wanted to love these, but they run my heels terribly. They are super cute, but not comfortable

The back of the shoe rubs blisters each time I wear them, even with tall socks on. I thought it may get better after they were broken in but after 2 months I still get blisters. Otherwise it is an attractive shoe and has good support. I would not recommend.

I'm a huge Levitate fan. They feel great and are extremely comfortable shoes - other than the huge blisters on the back of my Achilles from how this shoe fits. So sad that I will have to return.

Compared to the previous levitate 2 design these are far less comfortable! My levitate 2s were worn out so I ordered these and am in more pain running in these than my worn out shoes. I have been running in them for over a month, I run about 75 miles a week and really wish I could have just ordered the 2s again but it wasn't an option. They still fit true to size

Loved the look and feel, seemed to fit correctly, but my first time out was a 3 mile walk and ended up with bleeding blisters on my Achilles on both feet from the seam on the back of the shoe. Talked to a Brooks Guru and decided to send back and am getting the Ghost

I tried both the 8.5 and 9 in these shoes. I am 8.5 in all other shoes. The 8.5 in these was Too tight and the 9 was way too big. Also, the back of the shoe that meets the heel is so firm-it's barely bendable and rubs my heel hard. The padding and comfort of the shoe was incredible.

The sole and the top were all great: very comfortable and exactly a great fit (going up a half size from my normal shoe size). BUT the heel has a strange cushioning in the back that pushed the ankle part just far enough from my Achilles's tendon to rub a HUGE blister. I couldn't even go 1.5 miles in these shoes because of it and then had to wait several days for the blister to heal before running again. I've seen great reviews on these shoes, so they must fit a certain type of foot. Just not mine.

I did not care for the heel tab. There is no cushion there and the material gave me a blister right away.

I really wanted to like this shoe. The back of the heel is too high and rubs badly to the point even walking around the house for 5 minutes trying them on, it was painful. ...I’ve worn the Levitate 2 and liked the fit, so I decided to try the 3. I wish they hadn’t redesigned the heel. This is a very attractive shoe, but will be returned unfortunately. Hoping Brooks fixes this issue in the 4’s.

I loved the way these looked online and in person. However, the fit just wasn't right. I'm a pretty true size 9, and these hugged my feet too much. They were also a little high up on the heel, and I was scared that they'd give pretty bad blisters rubbing there.

As with the other reviews, yes, I should have known better, the back of these shoes cut into the back of your foot. So far band-aids and thick socks are necessary every time I wear them. Still a big fan of Brooks and will continue to purchase them but not this model. Ouch!

I returned this shoe! I did not like the pseudo-integrated tongue at all. It was very awkward. I had a pair of Bedlam that I loved. They had a tongue that was normal on one side and totally sewn-in on the other. This allowed me to tighten the laces as much as needed due to my narrow feet without any wrinkles or bunching up. I now have a pair of Richochet-2 that have a completely integrated tongue and they are great for my narrow foot even though they are only available in normal width.

They tore the back of my foot up!!! I would have returned them but there is blood all over the back of the shoe. I went back to my 2 year old pair.

This would have been my perfect running shoe except that it has a TERRIBLE design for the back of the heel. The comfy sock design would be great except that it cuts in a painful way on the Achilles Tendon. It was so painful, sadly, I had to return these shoes. :(

The shoe is great except the back is cut funny. It rubs against the back of your leg. The design of the levitate 2 is better.
