Best hiking boots ever. I work in the jungle, its slippery, muddy and wet. I can actually walk on a muddy fallen tree over a raging river 15 feet up. I used to take my shoes off and go barefoot because nothing had a good grip. I bought the older version with a liner many years ago and have loved them. I just bought these as my liner has finally worn out. I am taking them to Greenland this month. Its great to have boots I can depend on.

I looked for a long time after a hiking boot that was both comfortable, looked nice and was vegan friendly. I finally found these and first tried them on when I hiked 110 km (68 miles) in the northern Swedish mountains. Bought half a size bigger to allow swelling of the feet (I'm a 5 and got a 5.5). No breaking in and I didn't get a single blister. Double tied laces so they wouldn't undo themselves. No trail debris got into my boot the entire time. My feet never even got sweaty in these. I added a Superfeet insole for extra comfort though. Highly recommend! :)

Fit: True to size, good for narrow feet, no blisters, keeps toes from being smooshed when going downhill.! Performance: Good ankle support and stability, excellent grip, waterproof, lightweight I am super happy with these boots. They make hiking less painful on the feet, and safer overall with good traction.

I'm so happy with these boots! I generally find hiking boots to be clunky and ugly, but I was so please to find these boots to be not only lightweight, but supportive! I also love how they look. Stylish and simple :)

I was originally unsure about how much I would like this boot, but I decided to give them a try! I love them so much! I've used them for long multi day hikes, and I've never had a single blister. I love the thinner toe, as it makes foot holds feel much more secure with scrambling. I'm a guide, and they lasted me two seasons!

I LOVE these boots. I have weak ankles and knees so lighter weight boots and shoes are super and that is why I love Arc'teryx. These boots are fantastic and I can wear them all day without the heavy weight of other boots I have had in the past. They are warm too but not too hot that I feel I can't breathe in my feet. very comfy and I would defo recomend.

I went on a hiking/backpacking expedition in Norway for two weeks with these boots. It rained 10 out of the 14 days I was there and these boots did not let me down. I was with a group of 12 people and I was the only one with dry feet even though our conditions were extremely wet and muddy. I also walked on lots of rocks and never slipped, the grip on these boots are awesome. The boots also did an amazing job of supporting my ankles which helped a lot with my 40lb pack on. When breaking in these boots I had no pain, so if you don't have time to break these boots in before a hike, you will be comfortable regardless. The outside material dried very fast when put in a covered area so my boots were ready for the next day. The shoe laces are a bit tricky when it comes to them staying tied but if you double knot them they will make a long ways. I always re-tied them at lunch just incase, though. I would buy these again tomorrow and recommend them to anyone who needs a new pair of hiking boots. My sisters are now getting a pair after my experience and I hope you decide to buy these too.

I have always hated hiking boots. No matter how much I spent or how reputable the brand, I ended up with sore feet and blisters. I got these on a whim. They don't feel like other hiking boots. They're light, no leather, they're Goretex. Wow, they are brilliant! I love how firm they are, they have great tread on slippery surfaces (I wear them as winter boots when it snows), and my feet never get sore from wearing them. Rare to get a blister. I completed a 16 hour hike and while everything else hurts, my feet are in great shape. I can't praise these boots highly enough.

I work as a conservation photographer in Ontario, Canada and I've been wearing these hiking boots for the majority of this spring/summer. I hike through all kinds of conditions and I've found these boots to be very durable and waterproof. The material is also easier to clean than other boots I've had in the past. I do find that the laces come untied often, so I would consider switching those out. I most often wear a size 7 shoe (sometimes 7.5), and find that the size 7 in this boot fits well.

Going from my 'squishier' old hiking boots that a much thicker sole, I appreciate how sensitive these shoes are, they give me a lot of confidence in each step as I can 'read' the ground.' It's hard for me to explain but these are defininetly the best hiker's I've tried.

I typically take this boot out on longer and more strenuous adventures (like 25+km hikes or mountaineering objectives) because it feels more heavy duty and like they would last! The rubber in the back and front are perfect for crampons and micro-spikes. The grip is amazing on these shoes and that says a lot for living in a rainy city with lots of rocky hikes. I can scale very steep rock and feel confident that my shoes wont slip. I like that these are waterproof but breathable and my feet never sweat too much. These are literally the best high ankle hiking boot comparably because of all the reasons above. The only downside is that they are super stiff so you have to force your feet to get full range of motion. I don't notice the laces untying by themselves but sometimes because the laces are long they get caught on the other feet hooks (esp when I'm tired) but that's not a product fault just my fault.

I bought these for a backpacking trip and they did not disappoint. Comfortable right out of the box with a sufficient toe box for wider feet. And very grippy compared to another brand I used to wear. The laces come undone very easily so I double-knot them but otherwise they are really excellent hiking boots. They do run big, which is great actually because your feet swell on big hikes and they have enough room for thick socks for winter.

I bought these two months ago and am very happy with them. No breaking in. Very stable. Fit my cranky feet. Wide enough for my bunion but fitted at my small heal. Orthotic friendly. Keep my feet dry. I need to double knot the laces but love how they designed them to lock in place. My first footwear purchase from this brand.

Great, stiff soled, hiking boots. They were comfortable right away, with absolutely no "breaking in" period. Although these might not be intended for snow, I hit snow at some higher elevations and had no trouble with grip. After reading other reviews I decided to try on the boots first as many suggested these fit large. I ended up going down a half size from my normal size, but could have probably gone down a full size if my intention wasn't to use these in mostly cold weather, with thick socks.

This is a great all around boot. I wear mine in the mountains hiking on uneven ground. The soles have good grip and they are stable enough that my foot doesn't slosh around and my ankle doesn't roll. The material the uppers are made out of is strong enough to withstand scrapes from sticks, rocks, and briars. I also wear these boots on the beach because, hey, they're waterproof and you never know when the wave will jump at you. ;) And lastly, I wear these boots at work and around town because they just look really good, and they are super comfortable.

I've used these for day hikes with a heavy pack and for a 10-day long backpacking trip in AK. Never disappointed in the streamlined design. They don't feel clunky, rather light and agile with ankle support. For short hikes I often use my Norvan LD 2 runners :)

My first day out in these boots was a 16 miler with varied terrain. Rocks, snow, scree, water, and these guys performed very well. No breaking in needed. I had to stop a few times to readjust and retie but by day 2 they were perfect. Highly recommend.
