I had a very average quality carry on and looked at several options before settling on this. It has not disappointed: sturdy, easy to manage and useful features. I'm 6'3", and the handle is tall enough, a big plus.

I travel both internationally and regionally. This carry-on maximizes internal space while fitting into some of the smallest regional jet overheads I regularly fly on. Well built and great features, I've enjoyed the bag a great deal and it has become my go-to bag for trips from 3 days to infinite length.

This a great suit case. I travel to DC twice a month and had been using the next size bigger Travel Pro. It works well but is a little large for a 5 day trip. This case holds everything I need for 5 days in DC. I really like the folding system for shirts. It allows shirts on hangars to be packed and still fits in the top of the case.

I really like the layout and organization of this roller bag. I choose a roller bag for its durability and ability to traverse uneven surfaces. The construction is next-level and I'm expecting to be the last carryon bag I'll ever need. My last one (costa) lasted 10 years when the wheels disintegrated. My only gripe is the intrusion of the wheels wells and handle take inside the bag. But I LOVE the smooth rolling polyurethane wheels and the handle is stronger that any other bag I've experienced. Also, the color selection is appreciated and I choose brown so as to be more easily identifiable in a sea of black. And it matches my car interior!

Some guidance on using the various features that are new to generic suitcase users would have been helpful. And, are not present online, either.

USB charger takes up to much internal space. Secondly no need for the charger.

The bag seems solid. I would like to be able to zip out/remove the garment folding section. I don't always need it when I travel. At least one of the other inside sections can be removed by unzipping it.

Good layout. Rolls nicely, and nice handles.
Most of the zippers are good. One of my side zippers with the battery pack area likes to skip a tooth and not zip fully. :(. Seems like a lesser quality zipper than the other metal zippers.

Would have liked a larger outside pocket for adding a last minute clothing article.

Would have given this a 5 star rating except that handle does not lock securely when in use. When in us all of a sudden the handle slides in. Many compliments on color.

While it is very high quality, it seems to have a smaller capacity than my previous 22" carry-on. Further, it expands only half as much as my previous luggage. All that said, I've used it for one trip.

Bag is very nice quality overall with high end materials. Have traveled twice since purchasing and there is enough room to carry a suit and dress shoes along with five days worth of clothes and other essentials. Size is good and fits easily in overhead compartments. My only issue is the handle. It will only partially extend when the bag is packed somewhat tightly.

I bought this bag a couple of months ago before going on a 6-week trip to Australia. It replaced the comparable model, which I had had since 1999. This bag is better in that it is lighter and more compact, yet seems to hold more. It help up great in Australia, the wheels worked well, it came through checked baggage without incident and I was able to roll it about several times as a carry-on and it fit in all the bins without a problem. One thing that is worse that the older version: The "suiter" insert is of far lower quality (no integrated hanger, for example) and I don't expect will hold up or preserve a suit jacket as well. Also, the interior zippers are of lower quality (such as the one on the toiletries pouch -- and probably won't last.

I haven't traveled with this bag on an airplane yet, so a fuller review will have to wait. One thing I noticed, though, is that the "suiter" insert is flimsier and the associated zippers are of far less quality that those on an earlier version I have owned and loved.

I bought this bag to replace a TravelPro Walkabout 2 that I have had for probably 15 years. It was a work horse and served me well all over the world, so I am a fan of TravelPro products and their durability. The thing that set my old bag apart, aside from durability, was the packing volume. Almost no one makes a 22" bag, and this one also maximized the packing volume, allowing me to use it for up to a week (for summer trips). The Platinum Elite 22" comes close measurement-wise, but loses space with the placement of the zipper (along the front instead of around the whole bag), the larger handle mechanism and the inclusion of built in compartments. In the old bag, the suiter was completely removeable for trips where it was not necessary. This one is only partially removable. The old one had simple straps to cinch items in the main compartment, allowing you to use them for some or all of the items. This one has flaps that are far less flexible in use. This makes it harder for those of us who use packing cubes. Its outside pockets are also less expandable. I am sure many like the forced organization that these features encourage, but I would encourage Travelpro to consider adding to its product line a rollaboard that allows more individualism in packing.
One more note. The USB port is a standard USB, whereas most phones and other items have now switched to USB C, so using it would require carrying cords or adapters that people would not otherwise need, and would also yield a slower charging time. It does not appear that it can be swapped out.
All of that said, I still believe the bag meets more of my needs than any other I have found, and expect it will be durable and serve me well as did its predecessor.

The bag is good looking, seems sturdy, well-made and durable. It is relatively light and rolls well. If you are not a business traveler, the suit section is unnecessary, takes up a lot of space and adds to the expense if you are going to remove it. Some of the extra compartments also take up space rather than add utility. A video or accompanying set of photos would be helpful to suggest uses for all the extra bells and whistles

Haven't tried to pack and travel with it yet. Look like a lot of useful features. A guide on how exactly to use some of the less obvious features like packing suits, slacks, etc with the provided accessories would be very useful.

This is my second Travelpro luggage. The first one I used for 30 years and its still going. I wanted something lighter in weight but same size. I'm getting use to the new piece but I like it so far. I selected dark brown color and it looks great plus it's different from everyone else's black bags.

Purchased for a trip - works very well, and holds quite an impressive amount of clothing. The only change I would make is on the outside zipper pockets. The second pocket could be deep enough for papers or a magazine, but instead it is only about 3-4 inches deep. A weird size for usability.
