Our house burnt down so both my wife and I needed to replace out luggage. She got a Victorinox carryon. After 2 trips the Victorinox looks notably worn. The Platinum Elite had no visible signs of wear. Great handle - I am 6'6" tall, and the handle was tall enough to pull this bag nicely

Perfect size and very impressed with the interior as it allows for several ways of packing different items.

This is a warranty replacement for a previous purchase. The handle broke on my other one and when I contacted the company, they were great with the process to fix/replace the luggage.

Great travel bag, lightweight as advertised made it easy when maneuvering through the airport. Lots of organization pockets available, overall great build all around.

OK so far I've only used it once and I do like it. Seems to be sturdy and very well made. I like the way it looks too, very luxurious looking. I got it in grey so I could differentiate it better at baggage claim but I wish they made this one in the dark brown. We pack our suitcases pretty tight and full and I had no problems with the overhead storage and getting it through the airport. Lots of room for 5 days of clothes, toiletries, laptop and extra screen and some extra stuff as well. My old suitcase had a tendency to tip over when it was packed like this and I had no problems with that now. I am traveling at least 2-3x per month so after 6mon the wheels were totally shot on my old one. These wheels seem a little better made so we'll see how they hold up after 6 months+. Overall, TravelPro has a great reputation so I have high expectations on this one.

Replacing this same model. This newer version is slightly smaller and does not fully expand. Still wish they could find a way to put 4 spinner wheels on this model.

I travel a great deal for work and I find this bag attractive but mostly very functional. The wheels glide so well and the handle is amazing as I have issues with my wrist. I definitely recommend this bag to anyone who travels a great deal, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect size. Very useful pockets on the interior. Fits in overhead bin like a charm and is just right for a 3-5 day trip.

This suitcase replaced a TravelPro that I had for the last 15 years. I loved it so much I had replaced about every wearable part on that case over this span of time. Now the major zipper ripped due to poor baggage handling by airline and decided its time to get a new one. This one does not disappoint. Very well constructed and excellent use of the space. I believe I will have this one for the next 15 years. Happy customer.

Travelpro has always produced great bags. This bag continues the tradition.

I have traveled the world, bumped across third world environments and even used my roll- aboard as a pillow on a bus in Africa. After 10 years of use and abuse this case just keeps on going. The only issue, which just happened after 10 years is the zipper started to give way due to over-packing. No complaints. This is absolutely the best!

Very functional, lite weight. Really good looking bag

I purchased this suitcase because *I thought* mine was stolen 3 weeks ago. Got a call today that it's being returned, but I love this new one, so it's staying! :) My only gripe is with the powerbank pocket. I found ZERO guidance on what to get and the dimensions are a little small for the powerbank I purchased (OF course). Would be helpful if they would suggest powerbanks that fit in this suitcase, or at the very least, give the dimensions of the powerbank pocket..

As a former flight attendant I have always used Travelpro. I had my last bag (crew issued) for over 25 years and I was scared to upgrade.I was worried the quality would change from crew issued to bags strictly for business travel. I finally decided to take the plunge, keeping my last bag on Standby in case this one was not as good. I just took my first seven day business trip with my new Platinum Elite and this bag is AWESOME! I packed for all seven days with this bag. The well thought out layout had room for all my clothes, shoes and my laptop. In addition, the wheels are smooth and glide through the airport and the bag is lighter than my previous Travelpro. I am very happy with my purchase and plan to have this bag another 25+ years!

I moved to Atlanta in 2011 as a Consultant, traveling 4 days a week- it was my first job out of school. The first thing I did was research rollerboards to find the best. Based on a number of reviews, the answer was the 24in travelpro crew 8. This bag has endured almost 9 years of four day a week travel and still works like it is brand new. The only thing I've had to replace was the handle that broke, but it was covered under warranty and has not given me any problems since. I wanted to give a testimonial to how great this product has been, and how reliable it has been throughout my travels. I've been through many shoes, work clothes, day packs, a few laptops and not to mention two jobs, but this bag endures. It's rare to find such a great quality product these days, so I wanted to write this in hopes that travelpro continues to deliver high quality with its newer lines and to thank you for living up to expectations. I've been using this suitcase primarily for 3-5 day business trips and some weekend leisure travel. Very easy to pack. Dress shirts arrive at my desination unwrinkled. Even though it's within guidleines to carry-on, I've been checking it - very durable and still looks like new. Smooth rolling wheels and a comfortable handle make navigating airports and rental car parking garages easy.

I put up with some real annoyances on my old roller bag for 20 years...it just wouldn't wear out. When my wife purchased the big brother to this 22" roll aboard, I was so impressed with the quality I decided to finally upgrade. It's a great looking piece and I was easily able to pack everything for a two week trip using only this bag and a backpack. Great features kept me organized -- I could always get at what I wanted because it is so well organized. Super quality and ease of handling through the forced marches between airport gates make this the best bag I've ever had.

Perfect size for weekend travel.

This is my 3rd TravelPro 22" Rollaboard. Each time I've had to let one go, I've felt like I'm letting go of a great friend. This new one is on track to step in and become my next "best travel friend" for the next 150,000-200,000 miles of travel!

I bought this roller board because of the need to go on trips 5-7 days. Therefore, I need to maximize the capacity which is why I pick a roller board instead of a spinner. This 22" is actually 23" which hopefully will fit in the sizer in case the gate agent challenges me. Otherwise, the quality is as expected from Travelpro Elite series. The pockets are well designed and functional.

You can not go through a major airport without seeing Travelpro luggage. So when it came time to replace my old Rollaboard, I decided to take a closer look. Based on my research and in my opinion, the 22" Expandable Platinum Elite Carry-On Rollaboard ranks among the highest quality bags on the market today, no matter what brand it is compared against. The bag is light weight, well built, stylish, comes with a great warranty and I expect it will last a very long time.

After having durability issues with a previous "premium" brand I needed a quality replacement. I started to look around in the overhead bins to see what everyone else was using, how it aged, etc. I saw a lot of Travelpro in the airports (frequent flyers and crew) so I decided to give it a shot. I love the features; removable flap to minimize wrinkles in a suit and an external USB charger attachment). The fit a finish seems a step above the competition (at least my previous bag). After a few trips I am very happy with my Elite 22" Rollaboard and I expect it to hold up very well (I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for durability because Ive only had it for a few weeks!).

we own two Magna 2, a spinner and a rollaboard carryon. my son also bought the carryon rollaboard. my daughter is in the process of buying a couple of pieces. we just got an elite spinner carryon. great quality construction. looks sharp. almost don't want to use it it looks so pretty lol. and you don't have to worry about it with their great warranty. the spinner is so smooth that if the floor isn't level it will run away from you. and the elite has an extra front pocket. bought a power bank to put in the power pocket, another nice feature
