I work in events, so I've been on the lookout for comfortable yet stylish black flats for YEARS. I have wide feet and need some arch support, so most flats just were not cutting it for 10+ hours on my feet. I found myself going back to my Softwalk booties over and over again for winter events, so I decided to try their flats (along with several other brands that ranked highly for comfort). So glad I did. I ran around in these for 12 hours at my last event and then walked a few blocks home. Never once thought to change into sneakers. They are extraordinarily comfortable and the rubber soles make them super durable and not slippy (or loud to walk around in). I sent all of the other contenders back, and ordered a backup pair of these. They're amazing.

First of all, my feet are absolutely terrible -- decades of stilettos, bunions, flat feet, you name it (when my husband first saw me barefoot, he thought I’d been in a catastrophic accident that deformed my feet). We’ll be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in January with a blow-out, black-tie party and there’s no way I’m wearing heels that evening. I ordered these shoes in “platinum” (i intend to “bedazzle' them) and THEY FIT!!! Not only do they fit, THEY’RE COMFORTABLE!!! We begin dance lessons for the big event next week and I’m going to be wearing these babies. As a matter of fact, I’m going to order them in other colors as soon as this review is finished. Buy these!

These are quite cute as ballet flats go, the wide width is a true wide , rounded toe is very comfortable without being too matronly. The Burgundy was a fun color as well. Nice black sole with a little grip.

I have a very wide foot with a short toe base-very difficult to fit. These were perfect, even with a high instep and a bunion!

The leather is worn and horrible looking after less than two months. I've worn them every other day or so and the quality is not what I'd expect.

When I ordered the shoes I expected a really nice pair of shoes, given the high price. Upon receiving them I noticed discoloration all over the shoe, especially the in the toe area. I really needed a pair of nude colored shoes so I did not return them. Then, within a week of wearing the shoes, the back of the shoes started to wear (see picture). I will have to replace them as I do not want to wear them to work anymore because they look tattered.

I love SoftWalk shoes. These are very pretty, soft, quality leather, well made, dress them up or down. Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Arch support is surprisingly good for a flat. I have Narrow feet, wear a 7 or 7,5 N, and found them to be a perfect fit.

So cute! And a color out of the ordinary. Go with anything. Best of all: they come in 10.5, narrow width, and the heel is narrow enough to stay, and the removable footbeds mean I can use my orthotics -- this is difficult to find in a flat. I normally wear an 11 in most brands, but that is too large in these. Needed a 10.5 for the shoe to stay on (toes still not at the end.)

This is the 2nd pair I have of these, had the raspberry color originally and they’ve held up. Bought the mocha ( more of a nude in my opinion). One thing I noticed on both is that the leather at the toe in both pairs is darker. Less noticeable in the raspberry, more obvious in the nude but not really a deterrent, still look sharp. 9.5 wide seems true to size... I don’t notice any odd wrinkling or toe box collapsing which other posters mentioned, this the key is the right sized shoe to start.

I have a really hard time finding shoes. I'm a 6.5/7 EE, depending on the brand. These were a little pricier than another pair I ordered, but the other pair also was not as comfortable as these. Definitely worth the money. The leather is soft, the bed is comfortable, there is no rubbing, the shoe stays in place and the toe box is wide enough. I have worn these all week to work, I have to walk across the parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs. I also have various meetings to go to and put in around 7-10k steps a day. They have been great, right out of the box. My only complaint is I ordered the neutral and they came discolored around the toe area. I will most likely be ordering another pair.

I have never found a flat to fit my narrow, high arch foot. I am surprised these fit like they did. I have tried probably 15-20 different flats & figures I would have to return this one. Nope, I’m keeping it as it comes closest to a perfect fit.

As soon as I tried these on, my bunions screamed; "OUCH"! Absolutely not wearable for me. I even went up a 1/2 size in wide. The length was not the problem, it was where the top hit around the base of my big toe. I love the honey color, but not the "anitiquing " effect they were going for (see photos). It made for mottled color that looked like defects.

Zappos needs an option for "stupid attempt at arch support", 'cause that's what this disappointing shoe has. As stupid lump of foam in the arch area that is just annoying without being supportive for my low arches. Add upper fronts that barely cover my toes, and these are going straight back.

The silver is cute and would be a great accent to black slacks or jeans. However, the construction of the shoe is odd. I ordered a wide for the toe box, but the heal and middle of the shoe is huge so that it will not stay on my foot. As I walked the middle of the shoe gapes and the heel drops and the shoe nearly comes off. I had good hopes for this one and am sorry to return it.

The taupe looks a bit more purple in person than it does on camera, especially in some lighting. The mocha was not evenly dyed; there were obvious splotches of darker and lighter shade. The size and width were fine. The toes felt OK; the ankle felt like it might rub uncomfortably after a while. The arch pad felt like it was closer to the toes than my actual arch was; perhaps this is not the case with most feet?

I ordered shoe in 9 1/2 wide thinking maybe reason I’m having trouble finding shoes to fit, but they were way to wide. I’ve always been a 9 1/2 M, and guess I still am! These shoes were beautiful. Super soft leather, cushy insoles, and if I’d ordered my normal size, would have been perfect. So....I’m returning the 9 1/2 W, and have re-ordered 9 1/2 M in the black and beige. I think they will be perfect for work & with skinny jeans & slim leg pants. Thanks Zappos for easy returns!

I ordered these in black and carmel in 9N. They are just a tad long and the heel just a tad wide, but I have a very narrow heel. I think I need a size of 8.75 and a bit narrower than a narrow, but they do not make such a shoe that I have found. These are comfortable and I am able to keep them on. They are nicely made and I enjoy wearing them. There is a tiny bit of coloring mottling as some have complained about, but it does not bother me. Kind of gives them some texture. They are very comfortable.

I have been looking for a pair of comfortable flats for weeks. I have gone to stores and ordered online. No luck until I ordered these. I have a narrow foot and I am amazed these come in a narrow width. The fit is great. The only complaint I have is that they don’t come in more colors!

Have owned these for about two weeks now. Super comfy and great support! Love the somewhat pebbled look of the leather. They offer some shine and style but don't overwhelm your look.

Ordered these 11WW my size and 12WW just in case. Turns out the size 11 was too tight and the 12 was too wide. I removed the insole on the 11WW and they fit sooo much better. They are not true to size with the cushiony insole and a lot wider and comfortable without it, for my foot. I ordered another pair same color neutral (which I loved) since black was not available. Returning the 12WW.

I was so surprised when I tried on these shoes. I have a wide foot and the shoes looked so narrow to me when I took them out of the box that I was sure I was going to be sending them back. But when I put them on, they fit like a dream! and they make my foot look slim! Very comfortable. A simple but classic appearance.

Super comfy right out of the box. Still comfy after wearing all day. Just perfect!

Initially I loved them but they wore out so quickly. Stretched out too large to stay on. Rolled easily to the outside.

They were comfortable and looked good but they fell apart in half a day. I wore them for a wedding by the end of the ceremony the silver had all started to peel off in places all over both shoes. Looked terrible by the end of the night.

I have a bunion and have to dress business casual. These shoes are comfortable. They run a bit bigger and I was ok with that. The overall quality is not good. The shoes are starting to come apart after 3 months of wear. Highly disappointed especially since they are on the more expensive side.
