Loved the first pair, but they started to come apart. The replacement in the same size seemed smaller, so we switched to a different style.

The size (9.5) was perfect based on measuring your bare foot. Unfortunately, these run very narrow so anyone who usually orders a D (wide) will probably not fit into these shoes. The look and feel of the water shoe was very impressive so I was very disappointed that I could not keep them. Hopefully Columbia will start to make these in a wide.

Still seems a little narrower than the last ones I have been wearing since they've been making them. Had to go up a size.

Great boat shoe! Impeccable no slip tread. Trampoline effect insole. Solid construction. Needs a little breaking in.

Comfortable "water" shoe that has the look and feel of a tennis shoe. Excellent wet grip on the soles. The bottom sides of the shoe seem to be a little bulky to me but that's just my preference.

Great Comfortable water shoe when you need the support or stability of a sneaker. Fits runs true. Bounty these so I have the foot support on the sole when walking across rocks and such in the water.

Nice shoe, but tongue is way to narrow for people with high arch.

Nice and cool shoes, my feet get hot in tennis shoes, not these. Soft foot bed is nice too.

Really nice hybrid sneaker/water shoe, well made, and comfortable, the vamp area will be too snug if you have a high instep, other than that no complaints.

I've had at least three pair of these shoes over the years. They are great for boating as they withstand getting wet and dry quickly. The only down side is that when the sole wears down the shoe get slick on most surfaces.

The shoe looks good for a water issue I wore them to the lake this weekend in the lake out of the lake you can walk out of the water and the shoes are very late they do not retain the waterThe only thing I would say that is not good would be the next day they were still wet

I've used this shoe extensively over the last few weeks and I love it for day to day and stream walks, but taking it on a beach camping trip left me a little disappointed. It loses cushioning, and gets lumpy as the outsole and under the insole pack with sand. That said, I'd HIGHLY recommend them for boating, or rocky environments. These replaced another brand of closed toe adventure sandals and are far superior!

I'm usually 10 and I bought 9.5 and they feet perfect. Very comfortable shoe but if your are looking for something like aqua socks this is not it. Besides that, I'm very happy with my shoes.

If you've never owned Drainmakers you will love these shoes. They allow your feet to breath while maintaining a high level of comfort. And they are great on the beach, the boat or on rain days. Buy them. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I prefer the prior version Drainmaker III. Slightly more roomy and just felt better/lighter on my feet. With that said, these are still excellent shoes and I would buy them again.

I'm a professional soccer referee. I use this shoe 3-6 games a week to officiate on grass and turf field. Extremely functional, comfortable and breathable especially on a hot turf field.. I sometimes spray water on on shoes while officiating on a hot turf field.. I highly recommend this shoe.. Rolly M.

This seems to be a good shoe very comfortable and well made, meets my needs as a walker not a runner. If I were using it as a running shoe I would want a little more cushion.

These are good shoes. They fit the same as all the other Columbia shoes. I thought they might make a good rafting shoe as a more enclosed alternative to sandals. Unfortunately, after three days on the John Day, and wearing these without socks, they rubbed the skin off the tops of my toes and in one spot on the sides. Still healing a week later. They'll be great kicking around shoes, but just a review to note that they're not really sandal replacements. I suspect they weren't designed to be.
