This feels just like a typical, well-made running shoe. It may be for watery conditions, but it has all the support and structure of a good athletic shoe. It would work fine for trail running or hiking. Good grippy sole, slightly more arch support than other Columbia shoes, good cushion. The hyper blue color is fun without being over the top. As much as I liked it, I'm returning it because it also weights just as much as a typical pair of running shoes. Not a problem for most purposes, but I wanted shoes just for wet stream crossings when backpacking and wanted something really light and highly compressible to shove in my pack. For those who intend to wear these shoes rather than carry them most of the time, these would be awesome water shoes. Note to Columbia - please include the weights of all shoes in the descriptions. Many don't list the weight. This would be very helpful.

comfortable fit right out of the box, and I am hard to fit...very well vented and water drains quickly and efficiently. Shoes then dry fast. I like them so much I immediately ordered a second pair.

Rain or shine, great shoes for all types of weather/actively. Very lightweight, good quality, and looks good for the price.

I have some of those worse feet/toes, these shoes are a great fit and very comfortable. Very light, quick drying with awesome grip.

We love these shoes. We have bought multiple pairs for our whole family. They are comfortable. They have good traction. We use them for everything from rafting to running through the mud. The wash well and hold up well. We bought new pairs just because we wanted newer pairs and still wear our old ones. Would certainly recommend.

These were perfect fit and had no issues hiking 10 miles including water crossings. They didn't rub and they dried quickly. I never slipped on the rocks or on the trail. I love these shoes.

Great shoe for putting the boat in and out of the water. The biggest downfall is the sand that gets in them when you wear them.

Always wear these in the water if it is the lake or tubing down the river.

Very conforting to be in the water

I have never had Columbia Shoes before. We are getting ready for camp so I have been wearing them around to break them in for camp. The shoes are very comfortable. I look forward to testing them in the water but by the look of the design, it would appear they will drain very quickly as their are weep holes in the sole. However, I will wear these as just everyday shoes as they are comfortable.

Needed a shoe that would be comfortable enough to wear at work on concrete - and work well when working around water. I found the shoe to be very comfortable wearing all day, and when wet the shoe is still comfortable, and dries fairly quick. When wet the shoe does not rub or feel heavy-drains out quick.

Thank you for keeping laces. I use these shoes as a part of my uniform for marine patrol. They are comfortable, dry quickly and offer great traction on the deck when its rough out. Its hard to find a good pair of shoes for what I do and that are agency compliant. These are the ones. Don't stop making these.

These shoes are good and very comfortable. Others complained about making them tieless I personally like the ties and they stay tied. I just wish they made more colors to choose from.

The best outdoor shoe I have ever owned

My husband has never owed a good pair of sneakers. He would never let me buy him any. We were going on a bus trip and I knew we were going to be doing a lot of walking. So I ordered him these Columbia sneakers. He loved them. We did a ton of walking and he said they were so comfortable. He was so happy with them. He said his feet didn't hurt at all. And we're in our 60 so that was a big plus. Thank you so much

Great shoe. True to size. Only drawback is the laces would prefer quick laces.

They look narrow. But fit fine. I wore them fishing in my boat and forgot i hhad " new" shoes on. Have decent traction in water on slippery boat ramp.
