KUHL What Did Do? These are not even the same paints, yet you call them by the same name with the same SKU number. These are TOTALLY different from what they were! Less room, more skinny jeans. Fabric is not even the same with less stretch. WTF are you doing to your clothing line??? Really, what? When I went to your website to take a look at what was going on, even on your own site you have complaint after complaint. If you are going to make a NEW pant, make a NEW NAME AND SKU and give us back the pants we thought we were buying that were MUCH MUCH better is SO MANY ways. I came back to the Zappos to purchase again and click the link for the pants I had bought in the past only to have something totally new shipped to me. You did nothing but waist my time and others not to mention costing Zappos money for the returns etc. WOW...Come on. You find a pants you like and enjoy and the company changes it so much that it is not anything close to what you had found and loved to were. I have spent thousands on KUHL clothing...I AM SHOCKED you did this with not only these pants, but others as well. Even colors!!!! This is a let down to your customer base. Whomever thought this was a good idea needs to be let go. I hope Zappos reads this and chooses to take action themselves. Zappos, take a look at the line and you will see, they made changes without making a new name or SKU.

Well, I ordered 3 of these (different colors) based on my experience with a previous years product. These are not the same pant in fit. They are mostly roomy like last years but from the lover thigh down to the ankle they are "skinny jean style". Last years model is 10" across, these are 8 1/2"....If I hadn't washed them already they'd be going back I think. Buyer beware.

Size is spot on. These sit higher on the hips, other models such as the revolver sit lower if that makes sense. The brushed nickel color isn’t grey or silver like the name suggests but more of a little light khaki color which I really as hoping to find., and did here. The fabric is stretchy and light weight. The higher waist fit is perfect. They don’t shrink at all when washed but will relax some when worn a couple days in a row but not much. The Velcro on the back pockets is a pain so I snipped the threads with fingernail clippers on the rough piece and carefully removed them and now I can use the back pockets with ease.

I love them.

The Kuhl Renegade pants are much improved in this updated version. The thigh zipper pockets are larger because they are more rectangular shaped. The same slimmer fit is used, so the pants are not baggy at all and not too tight. Just perfect fit all around. Needed improvements: Add cord zipper pulls to the thigh pockets. I do this with all my Renegade pants, and it makes getting in and out of those pockets so much better. It would be nice if Kuhl just did it. Use something other than velcro for the back pockets. Maybe nothing at all! That's my preference. These are the perfect pants for everything.

This was perfect. My husband tried these at a local store but they did not have the color he wanted. The big surprise was we paid less for the same pants. Now he is definitely interested in shopping at Zappos.

I have three pairs of the Renegade Pants and they rock! I wear them daily in an austere environment and they are still holding up. For me they are one of the most comfortable pants to wear. They fit perfectly and perform well for daily wear.

My experience is very different than some others here. I have half a dozen different models of Kuhl pants, so think I qualify as a heavy user. These pants are great, but run huge. Every other pant I am a perfect 33' x 34", and in this pant I clearly need to go down to a 32" - they are huge in the waist! I have muscular thighs, but the fit through the pant leg was more than fine. Great quality and finish, and I love that they are not quite so overt on branding - I have been very critical of the over-branding of this brand and have posted multiple reviews about how I won't buy many of their clothes since they are a walking billboard. Color khaki is way more green than brown. It's fine, but be aware. Overall these are excellent pants that I can wear to both meetings and hiking and travel. Great pants.

I ordered several pair of these for my husband last fall for a long overseas trip. They look stylish enough to wear during long days of travel and to dinner if needed. The fabric doesn't show normal wear stains or wrinkle even after several days of wear. I just ordered my 23 year old son a few pair for an upcoming trip and they fit him well also. Prior to the Renegade style, I ordeed the Konfidant air, Revolver and Rebel styles which I returned because the fabric was thicker and more denim like (but not denim). They were nice but We needed pants that will work in warmer and cooler conditions on the same day and would dry easily if get wet.

Be aware this Kuhl Renegade has three styles of slacks: Convertible, Pants and Jeans. My husband prefers the pants and convertibles in the Renegade. The Renegade Jeans are a completely different cut that my husband did not like but the Renegade Pants were definitely the best style for him: a bit more room and all the tech/gadget pockets with a decent look. He can wear them for casual or a bit more dress look with a nice shirt.

I have been a Kuhl supporter for many years. I particularly like the fabric which is light weight and the "give" or stretch feature affords me added comfort for an active lifestyle. Living and playing in the Sunshine State requires sometimes the need for long pants. The Renegade pant is perfectly suited for outdoor activities and a casual night out. Kuhl did change the fit. The fit is more stylish with the tapered legs. The waist and thigh appear to be the same as my existing pairs. The cell/smart phone pocket feature is great. My one wish is they make the Renegade in a denim blue color. I still enjoy wearing jeans. The Renegade in Blue would be a welcome addition to my wardrobe. Special thanks to Zappos for being easy to do business with.

I was looking for a comfortable travel pant for my husband, which would dry quicker than his normal dress pants and have secure pockets on the front on the pants. They also fit him well.

Absolutely the best hiking pants available, hands down, just like the shorts version. Can't say enough about these pants, they are comfortable, wear well, lightweight, breathe in hot climates, dry fast, I can go on and on. Also great for casual wear, not only hiking. Only negative is the small range of colors they are available in, but maybe Kuhl will add some soon. I will buy them. Hoping they match the Dark Forest color the shorts come in.

Excellent pants! My husband is 6 foot 5 inches and 180 lbs, a 32x34 is the perfect fit! He loves how breathable and comfortable these pants are! We wears them to work, on vacation (had to wear pants in 90 degree heat in Venice due to church requirements), and even backpacking. Basically, he lives in them!

Husband loves these pants. He works outside in Louisiana--says they breathe great! Size is true to fit.

The KÜHL Renegade are the best pants on planet Earth!!! They're light weight, stain resistant, somewhat water repellent (torrential downpours take no prisoners; light or moderate rain, no problem) and fit like a love glove! I'm in denial about gaining weight in my waning years, so I bought a 33 instead of my denial of 32s, and my butt looks awesome, so my lady friends say. Wholeheartedly recommend this product!!!

Awesome pants! I have several pair of Kuhl pants but this is my first pair of the "Renagade", they may be my favorite. Same fit as other Kuhl styles and it seems to me to be true to size. Buy them thru Zappos and you can't go wrong. Zappos and Kuhl is about all the clothes shopping I will do anymore.
