Between my wife and I we have owned 5-6 pair of Blundstones over the years. Out of the box and for the first couple years they are amazing ... stylish, comfortable and versatile. They also have an unfortunate commonality ... you can count on the soles of the boot to eventually split and/or peel off or delaminates from the rest of the shoe with regularity. It has happened every time and we are finally declaring ourselves done with Blunnies. If they were a 80 or 90 dollar shoe I might feel more generous about this. But, a near $200 shoe should last a LONG time and not shed its sole after 2-3 years. Look elsewhere unless you have $$ to burn.

Honestly 11/10 would recommend. Every single dime spent on a pair of these shoes is worth it; I swear by them. I bought these shoes over a year and a half ago and wear them almost every day regardless of the season (they are excellent rain and snow boots!). They're super comfortable, can easily be dressed up or down, and have excellent grip on the bottom. What really took the cake was when, today, I was hit by a car and the car literally RAN OVER MY FOOT. I cannot express how thankful I am to have been wearing these industrial, apparently car-running-over-proof boots. There is now, understandably, a tire mark on the boot, but it looks otherwise untouched. I keep thinking back to how this morning I *almost* wore my Converse, but lazily decided that slipping on these boots would be so much more convenient, and how my foot would have been MAULED otherwise. Special thanks to Blundstone for providing such a heavy duty boot and can't wait to buy my next pair in ~5-10 years (because I anticipate them lasting that long).

I really wanted these to work because I see them on so many women in Colorado and mountainous areas and I love them. But, the color ,Rustic Brown was really strange, not at all like the picture on the website. Also, I always wear a 9.5 so that's what I ordered and my toes touched the tops of the boot. If I re-ordered, I would need at least a 10 but I hesitate to reorder because the color is odd.

These are now my go-to boots for all occasions. I got them about a month ago and in that time I've hiked the deserts and mountains of New Mexico and walked for miles in San Francisco and they're well suited to a variety of terrain. I've had a pair of Blundstone 500's for about 10 years and they're still going strong. But the BL585 has better tread, insoles and arch support, making them more comfortable for my hard-to-please feet.

I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 so I got 7.5 in these and they are too small! I'm shocked, I will have to order the 8 but it's so weird I've never owned a size 8 shoe so I don't know if I got a weird pair or what but definitely order a half size up than your normal size.

Just finished hiking all through Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon using mainly my Blundstones. Trekked miles at a time through red rock, snow, ice, and creeks. The boot performed great! Not only were they waterproof, but they just don’t get dirty. They have surprisingly great tread as well. Not a legit hiking boot with ankle support, but did nicely on day hikes. I also wear them around town and to work frequently. Comfortable and stylish. I’ll be a blundstone owner for life.

Love these but it took trying 3 sizes - 8, 8.5, 9 - to get it right. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 - 8 in Uggs and Tevas, 8.5 in athletic shoes like Saucony. Once in a while I need a 9 in an athletic shoe. Ended up with a 9 US in these Blundstones, perfect with thin wool socks. I recommend going to the Blundstone web site and using their measurement chart - in inches - to choose a size. I measured my foot and according to that, should wear a 9 US and that is what ended up working for me - especially once I added the extra insole. The 8.5 was close, but I couldn't have fit a wool sock in it and it rubbed across the top of my foot. It might have stretched out eventually but I didn't want to take the chance... with the 9, if it stretches, all I'll need to do is get a thicker sock and it will be fine.

I bought 3 different styles of Blundstones in an attempt to find one which would be the best for my feet. I have wide feet which often slide forward in boots. I usually have a hard time finding comfortable boots/shoes. I bought the 510, 558 and these 585 all in a 9.5. (My normal size is 9 so I went up 1/2 to hopefully get a wider fit.) I found that the 585 were the easiest to put on out of the box and felt as if they were a bit longer/wider than the other two. With the 558 and the 510, I had discomfort on the back of my left calf where the boot rubbed. While I felt that this would eventually break in, I did not have this same experience with the 585. I also did not need a long break in period with the 585 - they just seemed to fit right. I wore them outside today and while my feet did slide forward, it was not uncomfortable at all. I have already returned the 510 because the back was too stiff against my calf. I am on the fence about the 558 and may decide to try a 10 before returning the 9.5. Alternatively, I may just buy another pair of the 585 in a different color because so far, the fit is very surprising and good. I was particularly surprised to see such a different fit between the 510/558 and the 585. My takeaway is that, if you are having trouble with one style, try another one in the same size because there are differences between them.

As expected, these are awesome. I have been wearing Blundstones exclusively for the last 33 years and these will allow me to continue doing so.

I take a 9 womens and the fit is definitely strange. First, it's wide in the heel area so I wouldn't want to go to a 9.5, but my toes are at the end of the shoe. The shoe is really stylish and I like that, but am contemplating whether to keep them or not. Especially my right foot toes butt up to the end of the shoe. A 9.5 would just swim in the rest of my foot and wouldn't stay on correctly.

This brand is just not for me . Tried numerous sizes and styles of Blundstone, regular size to tight on top of foot , next size up looked and felt like a boat on my foot. Have slightly wide foot with somewhat high arch.

I am so bummed that these couldn’t work for me. I tried several sizes. I wish companies like Blundstone would release real half sizes. The half sizes here are simply wider instead of longer and I don’t understand why they don’t make them slightly larger as well. The size 5 is a US 8 which is what I typically wear and they were just a smidge too small for me, like only the smallest amount. The size up 6 was far too big even with the added insoles and they looked awkwardly big on me. I also tried the 5.5 and they were exactly like the 5 but just slightly wider which didn’t help. I love these shoes and wish the sizing was more inclusive but unfortunately they just don’t have a size for me.

I wanted to love these. I waited months to finally spend the $200 on them. Tried the size 4, too snug. Tried the 4.5 too sloppy. Plus the leather was so stiff my picky feet were sore and hot wearing them around the house. Maybe they would have broken in, but for $200 I couldn't take the chance, so back they went. Guess Blundstones just aren't for me.

Love These so much! Worth every penny. I see them as an investment… I wear them in the garden, I wear them out and about, and I wear them to work! But I have been considering buying another pair to not track through dirt and mud LOL the quality is FANTASTIC. It’s been yeeears since I’ve had a pair of shoes built so well!!!!! Keep it up Blundstone!!

Greatest footwear night or day, fancy or in the mud they fit the bill. Sizing is pretty true to you normal size. They come with extra foot beds that will take up almost a half size. Get em....you'll be happy

I've been wanting a pair of these boots for years and so glad I finally got a pair! I wear between a womens 7.5 and 8 and the 5.5 Blundstone size was the best for me. I have bunions and these boots do not pull across the top of my foot. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. LOVE!!!

I love these boots. I'm going to say they run big because I wear a women's 8, but when I tried my friend's size 5, they were huge. I ordered size 4. These were a tad tight on my toes at first but have molded to fit perfectly. This is the first boot I've owned that fit so comfortably. It's incredibly comfortable, and I love the style. I got them right before a series of snow storms, and I wore them everyday for a week straight. I work in retail and had no problem wearing them throughout the day. I thought I'd need to change into different shoes halfway through the day but not at all. They're such a great fit. Again, a little tight on the toes at first, but then they stretched to fit my foot. I think the heel would've been too big had I tried to go up a size. I've been looking at these boots for a couple years, not wanting to spend the money, but it's well worth it. They're a good investment, I've got friends who've had theirs for more than 10 years. A great investment for a beautifully made, strong boot.

It took a few tries to find the right Blunnies in the right size. I think I tried on half a dozen pair. But I'm so glad I kept going until I got to these! They're so comfortable and so cute. This is my first pair and I tried on ones from different lines in a variety of sizes. Some reviewers report they run big, some say small, some true to size. I found them a little smaller than the listed women's US size conversion. I'm a slightly narrow, low-volume women's size 8, only going up to an 8 1/2 very rarely. Yet, I got these in a 7, which supposedly corresponds to a 9. It may be that I could have gone with a smaller size once they break in a little, but the others felt too small with socks on. But these are great. More comfortable to my sensitive feet than the basic 500 line. Well-made, with nice leather linings. The sole is great. I wore them the first time for an hour-long farmers market outing and they were comfortable the whole time. My cranky feet usually complain about new shoes. I'll probably put in an orthotic insole for more pronounced arch support (which I often have to do), but their removable insoles make that easy to do. They're cute with skinny jeans, and now that we are finally cooling off, I'm looking forward to wearing them with skirts and tights for fall and winter, as well as with pants. So glad I finally got a pair. Classic, sturdy, well-made boot.

I love these shoes! I'm a 16 year old girl, and saw someone in my school who wore them and really wanted them! I had been looking at them for while, but it took me around a month to actually order them..and I am so happy I did! I got the rustic brown, and the color in person is beautiful. When I first tried them on they felt a little roomy, but after putting in the soles that come with the shoe they fit like a glove! They slide on easily, and match with everything. I love wearing them and recommend them to everyone.

My husband has tried numerous boots of various brands and says these are the most comfortable for him. He has foot problems after suffering a severed achilles tendon, and he has never complained about these boots. He has a pair for work, and I bought him a second pair for casual wear for Christmas.

Wow, are these nice, they fit perfectly. While I would not wear these for hiking they are a great in town, working outside boot. Only thing I didn't understand was an optional foot bed in the box.

Amazing boot. My first Blundstone. I actually bought two styles, the size does vary with the style you get, so really need to check. This one was accurate to size and feels awesome.

These were a gift to my son. He put them on immediately and "loved" them. Well as much as a 25 year old man can love shoes.

The perfect boot! Functional and cute. I’m a homesteader and teacher and will definitely be wearing this boot for both occasions. I normally wear 9.5 in boots but the 9 fit perfect with room for big socks. The upper material is a little stiff but will soften with wear. I was surprised how lightweight the boot is which is nice. The sole material seems like it is not worthy of the price tag but we’ll see how it wears. Overall very happy with purchase.

These run huge! Order at least a size down from what they say is your actual size. I am a true ladies 9 and need at least what they say is a ladies 8. Better yet order a few pairs and try them on and then send the rest back. So far I will have to order a third pair to see if yet a smaller size will fit.
