The lock on this suitcase is TSA. I have the largest size, which when full usually exceeds airline weight limits. Also, I have broken a wheel on this after only a few uses. I would suggest not getting the largest size.

I don't own this particular luggage, but I have owned other Samsonite luggage and loved them. I have to commend you on the fact that this red suitcase does not have that horrible zipper separating the two halves as so many hardcovers display today. Any thief or airport personel can take a utility knife and slice along the zipper for a quick entry grab the contents. Don't these manufacturers know that? Today US airports require the TSA scan and open the suitcases. If the lock is not a TSA approved lock, they will break the manufactured suitcase lock and distroy the lock mechanism leaving the contents insecure for theft. Is this Samonite F'Lite have a TSA lock? Thank you.

Love the new suitcase ..I have always bought Samsonite started with Oysters always hard cars without zipers ever !! My last oyster , wheel fell off during the last trip that has been with me for over 25yrs !! This one my only wishbwas that it was red in color!!! Oh well .. I will settle with the black one .. also wish there were more non zipper ones avakaible !!! I would have bought another one iif other color like blue or yellow red are available see size or larger

Would have loved the red :) I have yet to use it but it was delivered on time and seems sturdy and wheels spin properly even on carpet!

I am working in the US from South Africa. Bought 1 back home and 4 here. They are durable and secure. Would buy them again!

For both personal and business trip this Luggage is the perfect solution.we had already one and it last since 10 years!

The best luggage you will ever own!!!! I have two of those in earlier model. But they are also the same!! I bought them 15 years ago. And they are still as new!!!! Love love love it!! Made this purchase since my husband didn't have THIS one :)

I'm a pilot for a charter company where I can be called to go anywhere for any length of time and plans can change at any time so I need a TOUGH RELIABLE suitcase that I can pack a LOT of stuff in. Most spinners are clam shell designs so it has to open with both sides flat on the floor but this one I can just "pop the hood" so to speak. I also like the tough, lightweight, plastic material it's made of and the tongue in groove rubber sealed edge design for a waterproof seal when closed. I've used the earlier models of these Samsonite suitcases ever since they first came out over thirty years ago and they've only improved over time and I've never been without them.

The best brand ever

The handle fitting to body needs to be reinforced. When it's laying on its front airlines grab it by top handle and it rips right off.

I have to admit that I was nervous when I read another review that said that had to pay extra fees when traveling with this luggage. I've now flown with this 3 times on two different airlines (Southwest and American), and I've never been charged an extra fee for a checked bag. As long as it is within the airline's requirements for weight, it is fine. I will say that it's very easy to overload this bag, and make it too heavy. However, I really like it because there's plenty of space, it's easy to move, and it's very recognizable. My previous bag was a soft shell bag, and it just kept getting banged up when I traveled. The hard luggage is much tougher.

Great product. Extremely well made and functional. Virtually indestructable. Very light and manouverable inspite of its size.

The andle feels a litlle bit loose, but it works fine and is durable. Perfect for seafears that travell constantli
