Nice ride but feels heavy under foot. Fits 1/2 size larger than Air Max 2009 and maybe feels a full size larger that 2011s. Lots of room in toe box particularly in comparison to 2011s which were too narrow for me. I think I need 1/2 size smaller than I bought.

I run both outside in an urban environment and on a treadmill. I have a football build and have tried other running shoes but the complete cushioning of the shoe has made it my choice to minimize the impact of running on my joints.

Lightweight, stylish. I added the Nike+fit device for my iPhone. Arch support was pretty poor, so I purchased aftermarket insoles with good results.

I have two pairs. I agree with others saying order true to size. Usually, I order a 1/2 size big for Nike...that was too big, especially in the heel.

Nice looking shoe, but I had to send them back. I have a regular width foot, but these shoes were very narrow and there is a plastic ring around the outside of the shoe that pokes the outside bottom of your foot. For the price they should be the best fitting shoe on the planet!

Received a pair today tried them on and they are not as supportive as the 2011. The arch support of the shoe (exterior black portion) digs into my arch. Unlike the 2011 the shoe is made of a two part sock like system and doesn't offer much support. I ordered this pair half size bigger (12 1/2) since the 2011 were a bit snug. This was a mistake as they are now a bit too big. If you are ordering them, order true to size. I take a 12 so I should have ordered a 12. Overall the shoe quality, design, and materials are really cool and a good looking shoe.

Returned this item because the shoe was very narrow and my heel felt like it was about to slip out. Sticking with NB.

These sneakers are easily the most comfortable I've walked on in my life. Sure, they're also the most expensive and flashy, but I take that for granted knowing that I can do all the walking and running I want without stressing my feet. As for the flashiness, I have to admit that they're even flashier than they look. I took my brand new shoes to Stockholm on a business trip, ran around there, and many folks made comments. The only gripe I have is that they are slightly larger in the toe than expected. The rear and top fit are ideal, but I feel I have a bit more room in the toe than 'normal' which while it doesn't bother me know, makes me a bit anxious about what happens to the overall shoe once I have a couple of hundred of miles on them. We'll see. But for now, I'm very happy.

My husband actually got these and he raves about them. He says it's like walking on pillows and that I should buy a pair for myself. I tried his on and they are comfy. He gets a lot of compliments as well.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I work in a warehouse setting, standing/walking on concrete for 10+ hours a day. I found these to be true to size with great arch support and the best heel support ever. For years, I've been an avid fan of the Adidas Bounce styling, but not anymore.

These shoes are great! Very cushioned along the total length of the foot. As others have said, not quite as rigid (supportive) as earlier years but still a great shoe. I also bought a pair for my wife as she has arthritic knees. She said they have definitely reduced the pain in her knees.

Comfortable and stylish. I am 6'2, 225lbs, and this shoe gives me the best support for not only running but training as well. A bit pricey but they are an all around great shoe.

If you follow the reviews, you can note 2 things, this shoes is narrow and the bubble deflate easily, so easily that i used two time and only 1.5 mile, one of them are in perfect condition, no rock, no hole, no nothing but without air, I have 154 pounds, so there isn't any reason for fail, my conclusion is never ever again Air Max, 40 years of development is not enough for Nike, the air system isn't good, I would like run without worry about the shoes, thanks god I run over street if you run triathlon forget this shoes, now, instead enjoy a brand new shoes I need to deal with exchange, I hope I can exchange for other shoe.

Comfortable... at first! I have never had an issue with tennis shoes, and these actually HURT my foot. I ran with them on the treadmill at the gym for a week and developed a very painful strain in my foot because the shoe isn't good for high impact activities (like running). I am 5'9, 128lbs, young, no foot problems, and not in bad shape. These shoes actually caused me to be injured. I paid this much for crap. I now purchased a pair of Asics gt-2170 and they are WAY better and I haven't had any problems. Maybe it is just my feet and how I run, but I have never had an issue before. A doctor and a shoe specialist in a Dick's store BOTH told me Nike is notorious for these issues and for creating overpriced poor quality shoes. They even said, "Let me guess- your shoes are Nikes." I was so upset to have paid a lot and find out a month in I can't run & can't even stand to walk in them anymore because of what they have done my feet. I am fine on all other shoes before and after this. BUYER BEWARE! CRAPPY SHOES.

Love Nike but what have they done with the padded tongue? Runners need a padded tongue to cushion the ankle stress. Hate this shoe for this reason!
I'd also recommend:
Just make sure the tongue is padded-- like in Nike Moto

I run between 50-90 miles a week. The shoe is bulky, heavy with to much cushion. I was hopping to use it for long training runs but they have way to much Air in this Nike. I have used this style of Nike Air in the past years but, this years model has been pumped up more than the guys at Venice, CA Gold's Gym before Mr Olympia contest.

These shoes feel true to size as far as Nike shoes go, but they do feel a little narrow. I have approximately fifteen pairs of Nikes from free run 2s, free 3s, and free 4s and these Air Max + 2012s are top five comfort-wise so far. I got the green and black ones and they are pretty cool looking. I have yet to wear them outside as I am waiting for warmer weather, but I wear them around in my room all day. They were here the very next day and I always appreciate the Zappos way of business, making Zappos my go to site.

We have been looking at the Nike Air Max 2012 in the University Red for several months. We couldn't find them anywhere under the cost until we came to Zappos. Great shoes! Great price! My boyfriend loves them!

I was actually afraid to try it because I'm 6 ft, 240lbs and afraid the air sole would run flat. But after about a month, the shoe has proven to be excellent, and the air sole is still new. I recommend this shoe.

Different more synthetic upper than previous year. Seems fairly breathable so far. The shoe is great for running but the red color is bright so be prepared.

These Shoes are awesome.
I normally don't buy Nike's because they seem to be a little narrow for my feet. These felt comfortable from the time I slipped them on my feet. I ware a size 10 shoe so I took others advice and ordered a 1/2 size down. Perfect fit!!
I also want to give a shout out to Zappos. I wish every company I dealt with had your business model. You truly set the bar high.
Thank you,
Jamieson
