6 feet. 240 pounds. There simply isn't a better shoe. Yeah, it's a bit clunky, but so am I. These shoes will keep a big man running and that's what we want, right?

Very comfortable shoe to walk or run in. Originally, I was looking for something that would be comfortable for day to day use and be decent for running or other physical activity. When running, the shoe feels very comfortable and seems to absorb a good bit of shock. Overall, this is a very good shoe.

You can feel the air! Makes very slight noise when walking. Overall they are awesome!

My son LOVES these shoes. He says he feels as though he is walking on air, and trust me, I'll always be able to find him in a crowd! Whew, bright!

My first time buying shoes on-line and first time Zappos user, totally impressed by Zappos excellent customer service and total fulfillment for my order. My shoes arrived in 2 days as promised and pleasantly surprised by such smooth transaction. I had to chat with Zappos rep on-line before my purchase and he provided an excellent service which sealed my decision to buy from Zappos. I was skeptical when I read the Zappos great customer service rating on-line, but after my first purchase I'm able to attest to the excellent customer service they provided me. I will do business again with Zappos without any hesitation.

These runners are amazing. They are not as bright as they look on picture (the blue is a bit darker--which I am loving). I normally wear size 12 in Nike, but size 11.5 fits better. So I would say they are true to size (because I wear 11.5 in everything else). Did I mention the customer service is excellent. This is my new favorite store!!

I definitely recommend that anyone who needs a new pair of quality shoes that they seriously consider Zappos. You won't be disappointed. Zappos will be on top of my list for my next purchase of athletic shoes.

This is an excellent shoe. The full foot cushioning is superb. My concern will be in the durability as the interior stitching looks problematic. However, these shoes are incredible and I would strongly recommend them.

As I begin all my reviews, a bit about myself. I am a disabled Marine who lost both legs in Iraq. I have excellent mobility thanks to two wonderful prosthetics and a great doctor! But, because of my prosthetics I am hard on shoes, and anything I wear must fit well, have excellent support, and wear well. I will start by saying that I was excited to get this pair. I am a bit of a collector, and my favorite color scheme is red/black. So, these interested me greatly. Getting them on sale was just a perk - thanks VIP Zappos! These shoes have not disappointed. They arrived in almost perfect condition. There was some minor glue protruding from a seam which was obviously a manufacturing oversight. But, the glue peeled right off and the shoes are pristine. They look better in person then in the pictures. They seem to be of high quality, and though it is too early to tell, I would be shocked if I did not get a lot of life out of them. Being a shoe aficionado I tend to be able to adequately judge - and these are very well made. Trying them on made this loving relationship even better. They fit very well. I would compare them to a Shox fit - bit snugger at the toes - rather than a Dual Fusion which has incredible toe room. (Not that my toes much matter!) If you are on the border of sizes, I would go up to the larger size you wear. I haven't walked a great amount as I have only had them a few hours, but must say that the brief stroll I took was impressive. Wonderful fit, feel, and support. Plenty of padding as well. What I also like about this pair is the charcoal colored inner. One of my pet peeves with many of my Nike's is the white inside. They look wonderful new, but as you know they get dirty fast. And, I have to work my prosthetics into the shoe which means I have to touch the back a lot. Even though I clean my hands, I often get smudges. (By the way, quick fix to that is a Clorox wipe.) The charcoal inside will look great over time and will make this a de facto go-to shoe for the town. Overall, no question, one of my favorite pairs of Nike's. My husband loves these shoes. Great support, especially for those with lower back problems. Definitely worth the money. He is on his second pair! The fit is true to size. Absolutely nothing negative to say about these shoes.

These shoes are real head-turners at the gym with their vivid, cherry red color and cool translucent red sole, which provides incredible cushioning. For my foot, they run a half size small.

I like the color combination Light Grey upper with Orange sole. Otherwise, Air Max's sole is air filled and any time its air may leak and the sole flattens.

I had a problem on my ankle. I can't stand and walk for a long time and my doctor advised air max. I chose this model. It is comfortable and light. Thank you Zappos.

Comfortable shoe but a little too heavy and tall for walking due to the big cushion. I think it would be excellent to run in except I don't run. I prefer my the K-Swiss Tubes I bought here to these. They do look great though. I got 1/2 size bigger than my normal size for these to fit.

I was very excited when i bought this shoe. I don't complain about the fit and the comfort, that was very good. I particularly liked the design of the shoe. It was a head turner. I also read a lot of review before buying it. Some of then even warned about the problem of bubble pooping. But i did not pay heed. Let me tell you I was the first buyer of this shoe in the whole of India - bought it on the day of launch in Bangalore. But i must say that this shoe did not last as long as a shoe this expensive should. The sole wore out very quickly within just 3 months. As a result, the air bubble popped and now the shoe is totally useless for me. I paid a lot for this shoe. And it lasted me only 200 kms. I won't recommend this shoe to anyone. You could buy 2 good shoes for the price of one Air Max. Very disappointed. Will not buy Nike again for a couple of years. Sorry Nike, you just lost an avid fan.

I've been wearing these shoes for the past 30 days having walked 240 miles indoors on a treadmill only. They are already showing severe signs of wear in the padding of the interior heel area. Otherwise they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, but a bit too expensive if I can't expect them to last more than a few months.

I have been wearing Nike shoes for many year and have always worn size 11.5. I ordered the air 2012 in size 11.5 and they were to small. I exchanged them for size 12 and the 12's were still to small. I then got a pair in size 12.5 and they were a half size to large. Go figure. To make a long story short the sizes on this shoe are not true to size to say the least.

I've been running in Nike Air Max since about 1995. I've loved the shoes, a little expensive but a great comfortable shoe. Sadly the last three pairs I've had, the heel cushion has burst within a month of purchase. Do Not buy this shoes until they fix this problem. Way too much money, and a defective product!
