I was kind of leery at first. I was totally amazed how great these felt. having about 15 pairs of different shoes now these are all I wear. so good I bought 2 pair. only wish they had more men's styles.

I love Zappos. They have become my go to site for apparel. I live in a remote area and do most of my shopping by net. I\'ve always experienced very quick service and things appear at my door much faster than promised.

A very good shoe,it has helped my foot problem some. It took a few days to get used to them. I recommended them to a friend and she said it has stopped her nightly leg cramps.

Bought a pair of these online in 'Pebble' color 1.5 days ago for my husband. For years he wore size 10.5 Medium. The last pair of athletic shoes he bought (in a local store) were size 11. Shoe sizes, fit, and comfort level are unpredictable. Based on comments on this website of shoes feeling one-half size smaller than marked and on another website. I ordered him size 11.5 Medium (Skechers Shape-ups). The shoes arrived this AM so he put them on and loved them. They are beautiful. Unknown how long these will last as far as comfort and bouncy feeling which is so nice.

Great shoes! Take a little getting used to, but they're like walking on pillows. These shoes are intended to realign your body while walking and as a result your heels don't take a pounding and your body is more upright. I bought a second pair. Zappos is the best and free shipping. The best price on the net, and free return if needed. Made my purchase decision simple.

Lightening speed! We received these shoes overnight! They are exactly what we were looking for and couldn't find in our community. Why drive 1 or 2 hours and spend a day looking all over another community's shopping venues when you can order exactly what you need and have it dropped off at your house the next day? Oh yes and it's a great product, too.

I purchased a pair of Skecher Shape-ups because, well, I want to shape up. Due to being overweight and on my doctors recommendation, I was already taking a one hour walk almost daily before purchasing the shoes. I kept my walks to about the same distance and duration, but I was much more fatigued after finishing. After a few weeks, I can notice that my legs are much firmer and slimmer. I am a retired man in my 60's and I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to shape up.

I bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them! He has a bad back and he thinks these shoes help him with his posture and therefore help alleviate some of his back pain. They do take some getting used to but not long. And Zappos has been the best company we have ever had the pleasure of shopping with and I shop a lot! Thanks again Zappos!

These are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Being a type II diabetic and very careful about my shoe choices, I was skeptical about these shoes. I teach Tai Chi and several of my students have them and absolutely love them. I am extremely pleased that I took their challenge to “try them, you'll like them” (“and if you don't, just send them back.”) Recently, I have been made aware of some "bad press" regarding these shoes. To the nay sayers, I say nay on; but you will never change my feeling about these shoes. The only negative I can offer is that they take a bit of getting used to and are a bit pricey. As long as they are made, I will buy them.

My wife bought a pair, she told me that they gave a good workout when she used them. Being a skeptic, I bought a pair just to see for myself. I went for a walk with her and felt like I had a workout. My legs were tired, not sore, just tired. I was sweating, they really worked! I even went back the next day and did the same route with the same pace, not the same results. I have knee and ankle pain from work but with these shoes, it is not there. My wife has used them for almost 2 months now and sees results, as for me I need some more time though. I highly recommend them. But one word of advise, don not try running in them, at least until you have used them for awhile, they will make you feel like you are out of shape.

These are the best athletic shoes I have bought in years. They are extremely comfortable and live up to all Skechers promises. I will definitely buy another pair. Previous customers recommended buying a half size larger so I did and was very pleased.

The entire transaction was amazing - Zappos' customer service is the best ever. This particular shoe runs a tad small. The shoe, itself, is the most wearable shoe I've had in many years. I pound concrete all day long in a jet engine facility and I've had two knee surgeries. That being said, I put these on the first day I got them, wore them about an hour to get used to the different balance feel, and from that day on, they're the only shoes I've worn to work. Zappos has a customer for a long time.

I purchased a pair of Skecher Shape ups from Zappos. I ordered them on a Thursday afternoon and they were shipped the next day (Friday). The shoes arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Shoe were all I expected them to be. Them most comfortable shoes I have ever wore. I walk 5 to 10 miles everyday and it is great wearing shoes that feel you are walking on air. If you are just starting out I would suggest you only wear the shoes for a short time until your body gets used to them. The shoes look great, very comfortable. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to start walk to get into shape and loose weight.

Shape Ups are great! Your legs get a workout and your feet feel incredibly comfortable. I can wear them all day long and still feel energetic.

Extremely comfortable and true to fit. I walked 5 miles on the treadmill the first time that I put them on with no problem. Felt in in my calves and glutes next morning but took that as I sign that got a good workout. I normally take a wide in sneakers but the medium width turned out fine. Size was perfect. Arch support was exceptional. On the higher end price wise but well worth it. Very comfortable. Thanks Zappos! Looking forward to making more purchases in the future. Wow. My wife bought these shoes for me and what a difference when I take my walks. Yes they do look different but they are great shoes. I can feel the muscles in my gluts, hamstrings, and calves working more when I am active. Plus they are comfortable. I love these shoes.

I had double knee replacement surgery three years ago. These shoes have really helped my legs. After three years I still have discomfort in the knees, the pain has lessened and I mean very noticeable, and in a very short time.

Bought these shoes more out of curiosity than need. Thought the health-related claims were a bit inflated (posture improvement, burn more calories, tone certain muscle groups, etc.), but I liked the style and wanted to see if any of the claims might be true. After a month, I can't vouch for the health claims as my level of overall activitiy has increased with the arrival of quaisi-spring and with it my conditioning. However, I wear these shoes whenever I can. After a few hours of re-learning how to walk (watch the supplied DVD!), I find them to be VERY comfortable for walking and general casual wear. The second day I took a five-mile walk, and except for very minor next-day twinges in my knees (which might have happened with any shoes after winter inactivity) the walk was great. Shoes are priced competitively with other walking shoes and are extremely comfortable. I likely will buy a second pair in a different style. One minor problem: Dye on leather tongue is wearing quickly where the laces rub, but not visible once tied. Overall: Great shoes.

The Shape-Ups are BAD, BAD, BAD! :-)) Why? Had to quit using all my other shoes because they enhanced metatarsal and heel pain problems! Seriously, these Shape Up's are the absolutely best shoe that I have placed my feet in, ever, in my lifetime! Hope that Skechers continues producing them for many, many years! Plan to order a pair of "dress" Shape Up's to wear at work. Theses shoes are absolutely in the category of "life changing!" Thanks Skechers!

These shoes are great! I read reviews on Shape Ups shoes and how it helps people with lower back pain and knee problems and decided to give them a try. I have bad knees and lower back pain when I walk longer than ten minutes. It made doing cardiovascular activity very difficult, and I was always stiff or sore by the end of the day. When I first tried these shoes, I immediately noticed a difference on my knees. After a couple of days I noticed my posture had changed as well. I was standing taller and straighter. I had less back pain and felt my core muscles tightening up. I also noticed my calves were getting more of a workout from wearing the shoes. I have had my Shape Ups for over a month now and wear them whenever I am not at work. I am walking 40 minutes a day now on a treadmill with them and have not had any knee issues. I feel like a little bit of freedom has been given back to me. I can play with my kids, walk the dogs, walk around a mall, and exercise now without having to worry about knee pain. My lower back still gets stiff from time to time, but I think that is from lifting my two year old twins around. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking to burn more calories while walking or have joint or knee problems that get aggravated by walking.

Go ahead and order them! Yes~they look different. No~you won't look stupid walking in them. It took just a few steps in them to get the feel of the curved sole. They don't feel heavy or bulky on your feet. Great support and comfort for being on my feet 8 hours a day on a cement warehouse floor. My feet and calves are feeling better and less achy each day. Well worth the investment.

Got these for the husband and he was skeptical at first but now I can't get him out of the Shape Ups! He claims to be walking in the clouds but I think that is just his head! Never have I seen him so taken with a pair of shoes. Well he was once but they were on a Victoria Secrets model. Hah.
