I used this in a high energy, intense cardio, Zumba class. Normally I'm a size 7.5 or 8 depending on the brand. I ended up getting a size 9. I probably would be more better off with an 8.5 still... they ran REAL SMALL. Depending on your foot, you might have to go 1 or 1.5 size up from your normal size. I haven't used this style of Bloch before, it was a bit weird to adjust to at first but during the class they felt great! They are not as stylish as my other jazz shoes BUT they will feel great on your feet ONCE you find the right size fit.

These run small - very small. My daughter wears a 7.5-8 and she could barely get her foot in the 8. This shoe is much less chunky than the Capezio and is much lighter in weight. It is a partial split sole and the Capezio is a full split sole. If you have an Irish dancer that is in split sole hard shoes, I think the Capezio is a better choice. If your dancer isn't in a full split sole, this shoe may work better although my daughter said it was harder for her to go up on her toes in this shoe (which were very small on her so that may have been part of the problem).

Very comfortable sneaker. I took the advice of others and ordered a size larger than my regular shoe size. Comfortable, however, since my left foot is a half size larger than my right, I had to exchange them for a size and a half larger. I was amazed that my new sneakers arrived the next day!! Kudos to Zappos!

I bought these for a Broadway/jazz dance class. I grew up dancing but the shoes were long since gone. This updated sneaker style is very different from the slip-on style of jazz shoes we wore in the 90's! It is awesome though! There are multiple flex points in the sole, so you can really articulate your feet to whatever degree necessary, but there is still more support than the slipper style jazz shoe. I am really liking mine! I am usually a size 10, but based on other reviews saying they ran small, I ordered both a 10½ and 11½ to see which might fit. The 10½ (half-size up from usual for me) works great.

Great but they run very small. We went up a full size. Not as bulky as other jazz sneakers.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I am glad I followed the advice of other reviews to go up a size because my usual size most definitely would not have fit. Had Zumba today, these shoes made it so much easier to make the turns and steps. It felt a bit tight at first but now feels great. The shoe may not be all that attractive, but it is amazingly comfortable and perfect for Zumba.

This store is the very best with prompt service, and an attitude that the customer counts, which in this day and age is vanishing.

Wow! If I had worn these shoes a year ago, I wouldn't be suffering the knee problems I've got now. Being a folk dancer who'll dance anywhere, I had managed to ruin my knees mainly by dancing on hard floors in shoes that don't allow you to turn easily. These are amazing! I can spin 360 degrees on the ball of my foot with no drag and yet the heels offer real stability and there is enough support (at least for my arches). So glad to have found these! Highly recommended.

These are good dance shoes. I do 5Rhythm Dance which is free form and I am 63. I alternate going barefoot and wearing them during a workshop. There was no break in time, they fit like a glove. I have high arch and wide toes and even though they were tight putting them on, they gave in well to accommodate the shape of my feet.

Very comfortable shoes for dancing; Zumba, hip-hop, etc. They are soft and flexible enough, yet provide good arch support. As prior reviews indicate, I found that I needed them 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size.

I love them! They are lightweight, flexible, and overall, very comfortable. Good value. Just be sure to order 1/2 to 1 size bigger than your regular shoe size. (I was told this tends to be true of all brands of dance sneakers.)

These shoes are great! Very comfortable and light. I had to buy an 8 1/2 instead of my usual size 8, though. I wear them not only to dance but also around town with jeans and leggings. Excellent buy, top quality!

This sneaker is awesome! My daughter is currently on the Colorguard Team at her high school and needed a black dance shoe. She is extremely hard to fit due to the size and condition of her feet. 12W and she has flat feet which requires her to wear arch supports. She says this shoe is extremely light and moves and breathes with every performance and practices. They were a perfect fit since day one.

I line dance, and this shoe fits the bill. Has just the right amount of slide for all the twists and turns. Love them.

I made a mistake in the size shoe that I ordered. I am a size 10 in Men's shoes. I ordered a 10.5 but it was still way to small. what size do you suggest I order? I like the sneaker but I need a larger size.

I purchased this shoe for Groove (dance similar to Zumba) class. I ordered my size 10.5 and needed 11. Zappos, with their excellent customer service, sent out the new pair same day I received the original. I received next business day just in time for my audition to become an instructor. This is the first dance shoe I have ever purchased. I work out 5-6 days a week and have always used various sneakers. I love this shoe. I will never dance in another tennis shoe again. This shoe is very much underpriced for the feel, comfort and results it produces. I found it easy to move from side to side, elevate to my toes, spin around, squat down, open and close my legs quickly. Although, I have not had them for long and cannot speak to the durability, if I get 6 months use out of them, I will just purchase another pair. At this price, it will still be less expensive than the sneakers I usually purchase. I like that the shoe is solid black as it will match all my Zumba gear; no attention will be drawn to my foot. I have no complaints, and I will surely recommend this shoe.

These are ultra light & comfy. I'm using them for zumba, but you do need to watch you don't turn an ankle, as the sides of the front sole taper in. Recommended & would be best for a dance class. Note dance shoes are supposed to fit like a glove all around--even in toe area. They are not fitted like street shoes.

bought this shoe for Zumba and while it is very comfortable, it is way too slick on the bottom pivot point. I had a different Bloch shoe that I wore for 3 years but because it was bulkier I decided to change it up. I gave them to my daughter to try where she takes Zumba different floor and still they were to slick for her. Since I can't send them back after being worn I guess they will be gifted to Goodwill. If you are looking to slide without much effort, these are your perfect dance shoe. Not for Zumba for sure.

Delighted to find a flexible, 'breathable,' supportive but not rigid dance/exercise shoe in women's size 12.

Shoes are comfortable once I get them on. High instep precludes "slipping into to them." Have to work them on, but sweet to dance in.

I love my new shoes! I used them twice a week for zumba classes. I think even my dancing has improved. I slide easier on the floor and able to spin so much better.

This shoe is light weight, flexible and comfortable. I wear these while doing exercise DVDs. I'm able to quickly change positions and keep up with the instructor.

Excellent shoe, very light, makes you easy to slide and dance, just very reduced. Need to order at least 1 size bigger than the usual. I would like to have more colors.

I purchased these shoes to do Oula (similar to Zumba). I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and, based on other reviews, purchased an 8.5. They fit perfectly! So far I am very pleased with the shoes. I can pivot well, my feet don't slide around in the shoe and I can jump easily. I was worried about lack of arch support but have only felt the little tingling in my arch once while wearing them. I would recommend these for anyone who loves to dance but needs a bit more support than regular sneakers. Zappos shipped them extremely fast as well. I'm happy!
