I ordered a size large based on the reviews and they fit well. My first use was a 2-hour line dance class, which I wasn't sure I was going to get through because of these shoes. The heels are very hard and the pain to my foot made it very hard to dance. I'm going to give them another try, hoping that either the heel softens up or I get used to them. If not, I will look for a different pair of shoes for line dancing.

Very difficult to get my foot into it. Once I did, the size 9 did fit my size 8 foot, but I think I need more support than these shoes provide.

I love my Ryka shoes that I ordered for the same purpose - Zumba.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6.5-7 WW street shoe. This shoe was very narrow for me, and the pivot point at the ball of the foot was a little too hard, and made a distracting clacking noise on the wood floor.

Bought these for my zumba class. I was sliding and could not get a good grip. I guess because they were new. It just wasn't a good match with the wood flooring at the gym. I had pain in my arch. As for size. I should have gone a full size higher because of my wide feet. I'm an 8 and I got them in an 8 1/2.

Very lightweight shoe, however, since the tongue is attached to the shoe, does not stretch a lot to get foot in. Heel is great but the rest of the show needs more support. Very similar shoe by Bloch comes in black and the black one is great. I have the black but looking for a white. Unfortunately did not see that one in white. Sizes run very small. I normally take a 9, ordered 11 and fits.

These shoes are horrible. It’s like dancing on cheap bits of plastic there’s no real cushion at all hard as rock and they slide all over on wood so they will not work on the wood service I didn’t care for them they immediately went back

Felt too flimsy for Zumba. Did not ‘tie’ high enough. More like a ballet slipper turned into a hybrid

These shoes are intended to enable dancers to flex/arch their feet & point their toes, so it makes complete sense that they have zero arch support (since that would require stiffness in an area that needs to remain flexible). One thing that prospective buyers with wide feet should know is that the shoelaces are not the limiting factor for width on these shoes. In other words, while you can use the shoelaces to make the shoes tighter, you cannot loosen the shoelaces to allow more room for wider feet. Rather the maximum width is determined by a fabric panel that is sewn in and spans the area where the "tongue" of a regular oxford is usually located. I have wide feet & purchased a size larger than I usually wear, but the shoes are still uncomfortably tight (unless I skip wearing socks). Hoping they'll stretch out eventually. My instructor also has wide feet & wears the Bloch Criss Cross trainers (which do have standard lacing w/"tongue" rather than fabric panel). If I had it to do over, I'd get those.

Despite ordering larger than normal shoes these were a bit tight. Also, despite some reviews that said these were good for turns, they grip the floor and don't allow for spins. They are very cute and seem well made, but aren't much good for dancing.

This is a cool shoe and I really wanted it. Based on the reviews, I ordered a bigger size than I usually get (9.5 instead of 9.00) and the shoe is so small, my foot hardly fit into it. I have no idea what size to order, so I have to pass on these shoes - too much trouble!

This is an okay shoe. I'm a Zumba teacher and it's just not enough of a shoe to make me happy. It's nice and light, but not enough support. I would not recommend it.

Ordered both this model and the Bloch DRT Mesh Sneaker. No comparison. Though cheaper - this model seemed like it wouldn't last. Didn't even bother to try it on. Going with the Bloch DRT!

This shoe is extremely narrow - more than usual since the tongue doesn't open up to allow the foot to get into the shoe!!

I wanted shoes for zumba and also a variety of traditional dancing to help protect my knees, hips, etc. Even though I followed other reviewers' advice and bought an 8.5 (I'm normally 7.5, sometimes 8), the Bloch was still waaaay too narrow especially in the toebox. The Capezio dance sneaker was a bit better but not much. How to find a dance sneaker shaped for a moving foot????

After reading reviews I ordered a full size larger and it was too big, so I exchanged for a half size larger. These are the right length but have a very narrow front foot and even before trying them in my Zumba class I am returning them. I have even have a fairly narrow foot, but these just are not comfortable.

Wow. I had a wonderful pair of 10 year old Blochs that just gave up on me, so I decided to order comparable ones. These shoes are a piece of crap, and horribly uncomfortable. I have 3 pairs of Bloch jazz shoes, 2 pairs of Bloch tap shoes, and a pair of Bloch character shoes -- and I love them all. I am so disappointed in the quality of these shoes. I expected more from Bloch.

Poor quality shoe. Unsafe tread on bottom (too much propensity for slipping). Knee pain actually worse (not better) with the use of these dance sneakers. Very disappointed.
