I love these sneakers! I run about 10 miles a week (every other day...I'm not a crazy runner). I ran these the 1st day and it was a bit uncomfortable but as with all new shoes your feet & shoes have to adjust to each other. I ran 3 miles in the morning outside...then ran another 1-1/2 miles later at the gym. My feet are comfortable and not all hurting like my last shoes (Starter shoes from Walmart...yuck!). I believe these shoes will make me run longer & with better form in the future. Some people here might not like the design of the shoes but 1 shoe can't make everyone happy. I didn't get these shoes from here but from Sears on sale, these are the cheapest shoes I've bought and maybe the lightest! And for all you people thinking "Nikes" are the best, you might want to think about how heavy most Nikes are compared to other shoes & see if your feet will be able to handle that extra few ounces.

This is a great running shoe. I wore out a pair like it and couldn't find it anywhere, since they'd discontinued it in the stores. Zappos came through with it for me. Go Z!

I was looking to replace my old walking shoes and came across these at a great price on Zappos. Having had experience with them before I knew I could return the shoes if they did not work out. They are excellent and I would recommend to all who need a similar type of shoe.

Got these for my hard-to-fit husband and he loves them. True to size (11/4E) and color. Very good quality and comfortable.

Love it. It looks, and is, fun! It introduced me to "Arch support" and now I feel weird in any other shoe. It's great for running. I jog once a week and mostly on pavements. Also I did serious research on shoe-size so I got a perfect fit! You should do the same!

This is the second pair of these tennis shoes that we have purchased for my husband...he loves them! The price is right, they come in a 4E, and the delivery is always sooo fast. 5 STAR RATING ALL THE WAY !

This sneaker fits very well. Doing aerobics feels comfortable. I will recommend this any day.

This is my second pair. I use them as every day shoes. They are very comfortable, light in weight, and provide great support.

My husband has trouble finding shoes in his size. After unsuccessfully trying the area shoe stores,I found these at Zappos. He loved them and loved them so much I ordered a second pair. The shoes are perfect and exactly what he wanted.

These shoes are my Sophomore HS student's favorites for marching band practice. Marching around the football field and blacktop for practices, his feet were begging for some great arch support. For those who are familiar with marching a band half time show, the kids are moving in all directions. This shoe fit the bill and provides him the support he needs whether he's walking forward, backward, sideways, or diagonally. Oh yeah, and turning on a dime is no problem in these babies. He rates them a 10/10. For a tuba player, this is a really big deal. For the mom of a tuba player, it's an even bigger deal.

Just want to start by saying Zappos.com is a great place to shop. Great service, great selection. I just received these shoes and i love the 4e wide comfort these provide for my wider than average feet. They are also nice to look at and go great with jeans. Light weight, good looking, and comfortable. I didn't get these to run in but they are great for just everyday use and you simply cannot beat the price. Will definitely consider Avia in the future and will absolutely buy from Zappos.com. A great buying experience all around.

Buying these running shoes has been the best decision I have made in a while. I like the fit and comfort of Nike running shoes, but lately Nike hasn't been as durable as they used to be. Luckily, Avia has some really durable, tough running shoes that are very close to Nike in terms of fit and comfort. I actually find the arch support to be quite a bit better and more solid than the Nikes. I, being a person who is harder on shoes than the average person, need shoes as durable as these. I will definitely be coming back to Zappos next time I need running shoes, and I will also be coming back to Avia. Basically, if you like Nikes, you will really like these Avia runners.

Just received these today and my husband loves them! I've purchased a few other pair of Avia's from other stores and they just don't fit. I then realized you have to be careful of the width size. Most stores just say wide, but Zappos had the Wide - 4E, so that made the difference. That would explain why reviews on all the other sites kept saying the Wide still felt narrow and not enough room. Thanks Zappos for having these! I just ordered a second pair for him now!

These shoes are comfortable and perform well on the track. The arch support is above average. They are really stable shoes, and I can tell that they are durable. These are my first Avia running shoes, and I am very impressed. This was also my first Zappos purchase and I am thoroughly amazed.

I've been doing the Insanity workout in these shoes for 3 weeks. Working great.

The shoes that I purchased online from Zappos are nice, but what amazed me was supersonic quick shipping! Very courteous sales people as well.

A very comfortable shoe with good support, especially for its price. It is a better shoe than other more expensive shoes. I am very pleased with this shoe.

Very good value! They fit well and are good for the gym. Only strange thing to me was that they smelled very rubbery when they first came out of the box. The smell passed after a few uses, however.

Anyone who likes to run should own a pair of these Avia running shoes. The technology that Avia builds into their running shoes is what puts them ahead of other athletic shoe manufacturers, and it is what makes their shoes so comfortable. Not only does the 5020 feel great and perform well, it will also last a long time. I run about 50 miles per week, and can still get a solid two years out of these shoes, as with all my other Avias. My current pair was bought in January of 2009, so they are almost two years old and still perform well and look fine. The midsole is very solid on these, so I have taken them off road quite a bit, and they can handle a somewhat harsh terrain better than your typical runner. I also could use these for working out at the gym if I wanted to. I had to order one half size larger than I would with Nike, but that's not a problem since I've gotten used to Avia's sizing over the years. This is one shoe that I would highly recommend to any athlete looking for a solid, long lasting running shoe. These are inexpensive, but perform better and last longer than many $90 shoes that I have bought in the past from other brands. Avia seems to know what they're doing when it comes to running shoes, and Zappos seems to know what they're doing when it comes to customer service!

I have wide feet and have never had a pair of walking shoes that was comfortable. These are well made shoes and very reasonable in price and you can pick any style you want. I will buy again and service is fast.
