Great shoes - It kills me to spend this much on shoes, but I'm hard to fit (11 AA in running shoes), so I take what I can get. They're fairly lightweight, breathable, and accommodate my orthotics without issue.

I had never worn Asics before - thought NB was the only shoe made in my size (13AA in NB because they traditionally run short). I ordered the 13AA in the Asics (I wear 11.5AA in dress shoe) and really love the fit. I really like the fact they fit your foot closer through the arch. I am a fast walker - can't run - and these shoes are comfortable, well cushioned and look better than I expected on my long foot. Give 'em a try - they're worth it. Also - Zappos is great - I recommend them to everyone I know.

Pillows - These shoes when on my feet feels like I'm walking on pillows. What a great shoe!

Great shoe - This is my 3rd pair of Gel-Kayano, I'm hooked. I have orthotics and there is room to wear them under the pad that comes with the shoe.

Great running shoes - What is there to say... I love them and been running with them since at least 5 years.

Loyal Kayano fan! I've been running in the Asics Kayano for around 7 years upon the recommendation of a store clerk. Prior to that, I was a loyal Nike user. Since I have narrow feet, Nike fit well and Asics, back in the 80s when I was running competitive track, sponsored my track team. Even though I could have gotten free Asics, I still purchased Nike because Asics was cut too wide in the toe box. Now, either my foot has spread or the shoe design has changed because the Kayano fits beautifully. I am an overpronator and need lots of stabilization - I don't think I'll change shoes ever again!

Another Great Shoe! Love the Kayano 14, great support, perfect fit. I live in this shoe morning, noon, and night. Great for running on the treadmill or chasing my kids. I will be buying another pair soon! Zappos is the best!

Miracle for moderate to severe overpronators - Amazing shoes! I have had chronic knee pain from patellofemoral pain syndrome for about a year and a half. I have not been able to reduce it until I found these shoes! They are fantastic and keep my knee in perfect alignment so I can continue running. Thank you, Zappos and Asics for saving my knees! I can finally run without pain! The best running shoes I have ever owned.

Great shoe for narrow feet! I went from a New Balance to this shoe in a narrow. Lengthwise, it fits the same as NB, the Asics heel is more narrow so my heel never rubs up and down, and the overall width is more narrow than NB, there's no space for your foot to slip around in.

Great running shoe - I ordered a couple pairs of this shoe before I found the best fit (yay to Zappos for the free shipping). I have pretty flat feet and am a slight overpronator. I found the "wide" offered the best fit for me. This shoe has great arch support and I also feel less stress on my knees since running with my new Asics. For me, the shoes took a few runs to break in and are now very comfortable. I'm a recreational runner and usually don't spend this much $ for my running shoes. These are well worth it and I'm glad I gave them a try!

Comparing the G-K 14 with the G-K 13 - I ordered this shoe along with the Gel Kayano 13, just to have an extra pair of shoes. I didn't intend to do a side by side comparison, but I was able to compare the two easily. I found the G-K 14 to offer somewhat more support to my foot. I felt more comfortable wearing the GK-14 on hilly or rocky trails. I did not need my usual orthotics with this shoe, although they did fit easily within the heel box. The shoe fit true to size, supported my foot stably without the heaviness of a true stability shoe. The GK-13 felt lighter and cooler on the foot, but offered a bit less arch support and stability. I'd highly recommend either shoe.

Comfortable shoe - Asics are the only shoes that get me through a 12hr shift on my feet without my feet, legs, and back killing me. Awesome shoes!

Good fit for narrow feet - This shoe fits me very well, and even looks good in size 11N! Asics makes a comfortable, supportive athletic shoe, and is a reliable brand. Would recommend to others to at least give it a try.

Excellent Shoe - I have been running in the Gel Kayano for years. Great for stability. Also has a nice big tow box. I am grateful that Zappos carries WIDE widths!

Great running shoe! After trying many different running shoes I've finally settled on "the pair" which is the Asics Gel-Kayanos. There is no period of having to break the shoes in. They fit perfectly right out of the box and are comfortable yet offer plenty of support where needed (for me in the heel and toes) I popped on the pair, hit the treadmill and haven't looked back since. All in all, a fantastic running shoe!!!

The most comfortable running shoe!!! This is the most comfortable running shoe I've bought in recent memory. Very light on your feet, hardly noticeable. I run 4-5 miles a day in these shoes and they seemingly get better with age. Great buy!!

Another winner with ASICS! My second pair in about two weeks; like the black ones so much, had to order these white ones for "summer" wear. Best shoes I've found for a narrow-foot fit, cushioning, breathability, and overall comfort. They're nice looking. Used to order New Balance for narrow sizing, but these beat NBs all to bits! AND Zappos! Ordered these on a Monday and I rec'd them on Tuesday. Color me a happy camper on all counts!

I LOVE THIS SHOE! Very lightweight and comfortable running shoe, as with all the ASICS shoes I have bought, they did not have to be broken in. I bought them after reading a review of them in a fitness magazine and am extremely pleased!

Asics shoes - I walk about 3.5 miles per day and walk very fast. I had a pair of these shoes I wore until the bottoms were flat and ordered another pair. These are great for walking.

I was looking for a good looking shoe with great support. I found it! Through the reviews on Zappos I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear and I am glad I did, fits perfectly.

Great shoe, but a little different than previous versions - I had the older Gel Kayano and when it needed replacing I bought this one. They've obviously changed a few things because this one feels a bit different. It feels a bit narrower. But I still like it.

Great on my knees! I had knee surgery (both knees) in January 2006 and started running again in late 2007. I'm usually only able to run a mile or 2 because my knees start hurting, but since I bought the Asics Gel-Kayano 14 shoes, I'm now able to run 5 miles!!! AND walk down the stairs the next morning, pain free!! They've truly changed my life!! Well worth the money!!!

Emily from New York - I have very narrow and delicate feet. These sneakers (I purchased the narrow 2A width) are the best fitting and most comfortable and light weight sneakers that I have ever purchased. I wear them EVERY DAY ALL THE TIME. For the slim foot, they are cut nice and narrow in the heel and around the arch so the sneaker really hugs the foot. My heels never slip and my foot gets a lot of good support. And there is ample room in the toe box. Many shoes for narrow feet are also designed with a narrow toe box and the toes don't have enough room--not the case here. Gel Kayanos also offer a lot of cushion. My feet are very happy in these shoes. I used to wear New Balance, but their sizing has changed. The New Balance narrow width sneakers are not as narrow around the arch and heel as the Asics Gel Kayano narrow.

This shoe is a good replacement for the Kayano 13. It has helped to reduce my shin splints.

NOT FOR ME - I've been wearing every single Kayano since the 9. Every updated Kayano has always been a little better on my feet, but not this Kayano 14. I normally wear a size 8 on all previous Kayano (9-13) and I've tried 8 and 7.5 and 8.5 in regular width and narrow width and always end up with a distinct pain on my heels/arches. They did put a extra plate on the heel and footbed on this updated version so maybe that was why. I HATE THESE. I really wish I can like them because I've been a LOYAL ASICS fan for almost a decade. I have to go back to 13 (buy extra 13) and will patiently wait for the Kayano 15 next year. TOO BAD. I like the look/style of the 14, but the shoes were poorly designed in the heels/arch area -- WAY TOO STIFF and FELT LIKE I'M POUNDING ON PAVEMENT/STEEL.
