Great Shoe! This is a great shoe. I wish I would have read the customer reviews before I made my purchase, because many of them warned that the shoe runs about a half size too small, and they were right. It wasn't so small that I had to reorder, but had I known prior to, I would have ordered a 6 instead of a 5 1/2. I like to have a little extra room for orthotics. I have ankles/ feet that pronate to the extreme, and these shoes provide great support. I love the look and feel of them. They are my second pair of Asics, and I would highly recommend the brand to anyone looking for a great running shoe. Love em!

Kayano 14 - They're superb! Ran twice my distance in them on the first day and I thought I was going to be in pain but no nothing! No heel pain, no plantar fasciitis next day. I was truly amazed. A happy buy. Worth the money.

Most comfortable running shoes I've ever had! I usually buy Nike, but think I'm sticking with Asics from now on. I would definitely recommend these!!

Third pair of Gel-Kayano 14 - Ran 2 races in this shoe - marathon and half marathon and they are great for those who pronate.

Buy, buy, buy - This is a great shoe. Well worth the money! I will never buy another brand of running shoes. I also bought a pair for my husband and he loves them also. Happy shopping.

The Most Comfortable Shoes that Have Ever Been on my Foot - I was looking for a special pair of shoes because I was recovering from a broken foot. My doctor said the type of shoe I wore was important to my recovery. A friend had just bought a pair of Asics Gel Kayano 14 and she highly recommended them. I unpacked the shoes, put them on and have been in love ever since. They are the only shoes I can wear and walk in pain-free. I hate to take them off to go to bed!

Great shoe - My ONLY complaint is the heel comes up a little high and I have to remember to pull my socks up over the back of the shoe before I go running. I have average feet (not too wide or too narrow) and they fit great and absorb shock well. I previously had the Kayano 13 and these don't disappoint!

Great Shoe - Have worn ASICS for past 4 years, my favorite model was discontinued so I switched to the Gel-Kayano. At first the shoes felt different and I was nervous that they wouldn't work and I was leaving on vacation. Changed socks and the shoes felt wonderful as ASICS always do! Highly recommended even at the steep prices.

Perfect for me! My foot is wide in the front and narrow in the heel, so these work out perfectly for me. I have been wearing theses exclusively for 10 years. Great support!

Great running shoe - This is the best running shoe I've ever had on my foot. Great support and stability; very comfortable and snug fit.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn - I have wide flat feet that over-pronate. After standing or walking for a very short time, I would develop a lower back ache. I also had a problem with my performis muscle in my right leg which caused me a great deal of pain. After wearing these shoes for 2 days, my backaches and muscle pain completely went away. My feet are extremely hard to fit so I ordered several pairs of shoes in different sizes and these fit perfectly. I also have a problem with heel slippage in athletic shoes and the memory foam in the heel of this shoe is perfect. I plan on ordering this shoe in every color they come in. I love them and Zappos. I live in a small town with not many stores that sell wide shoes and without Zappos I never would have found these shoes. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Pretty comfortable shoe. No break in period needed. However it could do with a wee bit more cushioning.

I just started wearing these running shoes. For years I have been wearing Nike Air Structure Triax, which are less expensive and a fairly good shoe. I wanted to try these because of the new heel technology and cushioning. I wear orthotics and they fit well in this shoe. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. This shoe is great for both. I feel like I have plenty of room in the toe box and a snug fit in the heel. They feel like they offer good stability and cushioning. Hopefully they will be worth the extra money in the end.

Best sneaker ever! I tried on many other sneakers before I found the ASICS Gel-Kayano. They are extremely comfortable and give great support. I have a hard time finding sneakers due to wide feet and narrow heels. No problem with these sneakers! I've used them walk/jogging on pavement as well as gravel roads and trails - great support on all terrain. I would highly recommend this sneaker to anyone and will stick with this brand!

These shoes are comfortable and good support for a pronator and one who suffers at times from plantar fasciitis. I bought Asics because my 260 lb. husband can run in his without a problem.

Best running shoe ever! This is the 4th year in a row I've updated my Asics Gel-Kayano. I have a pronation problem but this shoe has the best fit and support...say goodbye to plantar fasciitis and hello to fun running!

Half size too small - I have ordered this same shoe for over 5 years and have been able to order the same size each time. I just ordered new ones and ended up having to order a half size up. This is a new color from previous ones so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Love the shoes they feel great and are great for narrow feet.

Fabulous Pair of Running Shoes - Not only do my feet feel comfy while pounding away the miles on the pavement, but they look spectacular! I over pronate and tend to buy Asics because of their sturdy heel. These are my 4th pair and did not disappoint. I tend to buy a 1/2 size up to allow room for my orthotics and plus, don't like pinched toes while I'm working out.

These are really cute - This is probably my 15th pair of Asics. Since I discovered the pronation correction shoes in the Asics line I cannot believe the improvement in my knee pain- I rarely have pain or swelling anymore. Found these today in Plum/Lilac and they are a really good looking shoes! I was surprised that I had to buy a 1/2 size larger than I normally bought in any other Asics. Worth EVERY penny in my opinion.

A classic - This is the best shoe for runners ever made!!! I have purchased this shoe every year for the last 5 years...the exception was the year I suffered with plantar fasciitis...don't settle for less. This is a GREAT SHOE!!!!!

Another wonderful purchase! I have had at least 8 pairs of Gel-Kayanos and they still are my favorite sneaker. I tend to pronate and they lend excellent support. They run true to size and take quite a beating. I highly recommend them.

Love the shoes - I have been running in this brand and model for about 7 years and when the current pair wears out, I get a new pair. The shoe fits me perfectly. It feels like I am running in bedroom slippers right out of the box.

Superb fit - Very flexible but ALSO supportive shoe; soft feeling "upper" material. Bought for walking and absolutely seems to correct all my imbalances and my knees are better. Can easily wear for entire day. Purchased a 1/2 size up and went w/ wide - provides excellent room in toe box. If you also prefer more room there AND in the area of the arch so that arch is not so defined, that will work for you. One of two shoes I could wear when I smashed my big toe! The Asics Bree is the other. This is not as "wide" as the New Balance "wide" very much more true to size. If I could wish for something else in this shoe, it would be for a bit more cushion, but I like that as I get "older". The nice flexible upper will make this shoe one of most comfortable you can wear; Asics also made it great looking. Pronators rejoice!

Read on if you have flat feet, mild/no pronation - These shoes work great if you are running long and easy. I have used Brooks in the past, but for longer distances I started having knee problems and posterior shin splints. I changed to the Kayanos and the problem is solved. They feel plush and cushy. You may want to rotate with something lighter for shorter runs (under 5 miles) as the Kayanos are a bit on the heavy side. But if you want to go on a run longer than 10 miles, consider the Kayanos. I would highly recommend these shoes if you are a heavier runner with flat feet and mild to no pronation.

I would definitely buy another pair of these running shoes - I love they way they fit, true to size. And I love the way they look. Lots more cushioning than any other ASICS I have had. I think these are more comfortable than my Brooks that I normally wear for running.
