Love, love, love these boots. My feet have never been so warm, and they have decent traction as well. I hope these last me for years to come. Oh and by the way I love, love, love Zappos too with their quick and easy service!

Love this product. Fit true to size, and Zappos got the order to me the very next morning. I needed them for an unexpected event, and Zappos got it to me in plenty of time. Great boot and great site. Thanks Zappos!

These are very comfortable, warm boots. Even great for walking. I even bought a pair for my niece; she loves them too.

Love these boots! People say they're stiff, they are, but it is actually in a comfortable supportive way. They're very padded, cozy and warm inside. They stay zipped and I like the stability they provide in the slippery snow. I ordered a full size larger and it worked perfectly!

These boots are awesome! They kept my feet warm and dry (and I was out in the snow with a 3 year old!). They are a little stiff, but not as bad as ski boots. I ordered a half size larger so I could wear a pair of Smartwool socks.

I purchased these boots 2 years ago and I live in a city with snow EVERY winter. Im definetly going to strap these guys on again for the 3rd year. They are warm, the traction on the bottom is perfect for walking on snow, the fur keeps moisture out. These boots are the best.

Very well-made boot. Although I haven't worn it in snow, it seems like it would be ideal with the rubber boot. As some have noted, the boot is very stiff when you first put it on and it seems to me to run small. I can only wear thin socks with my usual size. Would probably send it back for a half a size larger so I could wear thicker socks if it came in half sizes. I'm afraid the next size up would be too large. Presumably the insulation keeps your feet from getting cold but I don't know that for a fact. Appearance is attractive for a boot of this type but it is probably not for the fashion obsessive (being partly made of rubber). Overall I think it is an excellent winter boot but would recommend buying a somewhat larger than normal size (too bad it doesn't come in half sizes).

Very comfortable and very warm! I usually wear a size 9 shoe but a 10 in these boots fits better. Definitely worth the money!

I just received these yesterday. They are AWESOME! I had Columbia's for about 9 years and loved them. The only reason I got rid of them is because they started to dry rot. I had these on with a pair of boot cut jeans and they looked great. I can't wait to use them! I would definitely recommend them!

I haven't taken these out for a spin yet, but they seem really well made and warm. Love the rubber soles--this will come in handy when I'm dog sledding in Norway this winter. Originally ordered a size 10 (my normal size), but could not get anything but a thin sock into the boot--will be returning for an 11 since Zappos does not carry the 10½.

So take this review with a grain of salt because we haven't had snow yet, so I haven't field tested them. These boots fit really well. Most winter boots drag on the ground when you walk and make that annoying boot-shuffling noise unless you pick your feet up really high, but these stayed on. They weren't too tight either, even after trying them on with thick socks. The rubber bottoms are great: I didn't realize from the picture, but the bottom black part is welded to the sole so your feet stay dry. I also think that as far as winter boots go these look pretty great. They aren't as dorky as what I used to have. In summary: well made, attractive, comfortable and practical shoes. Definitely recommend them.

Not only do the boots look good they are extremely comfortable. Cold weather will be here soon and I will be wearing them quite often. Can\'t go wrong with price or quality. North Face really stand up for their name with great products. I will continue to buy from them.

Normally I wear a 6½ but had to go up a half a size because of all the fluff inside. Could have gone up a full size. Haven't had a chance to wear them in snow yet but they will be warm! With the material around the base will for sure be waterproof. Only runs small because of the insulation inside.

I haven't worn these boots in snow yet, so the real test hasn't begun. Though it is a heavy boot it is extremely comfortable. They're warm, easy to get on and off and look much more attractive on than I thought they might!

Wanted these last year (winter 2009), but too late, they were sold out. So glad that I waited for these, they are really nice. We haven't had snow yet, but will be prepared when we do! I usually wear a 8 1/2 to 9, ordered a 9 1/2. They definitely run smaller than true to size.

*LOVE* My first North Face boots and WILL NOT BE MY LAST! WOW! I do NOT like heavy boots and have literally *lived* in Uggs for about 4 years now… all four seasons they are just so comfy I couldn't take them off. Well, me and my husband started hiking this winter and as you know the Classic Uggs have no grip and not much waterproof-ness. I needed something else and that’s all there was to it. I was *really* worried about the weight of these, and while they weigh slightly more than my Classic Uggs - it was not worth me worrying about. These must be THE nicest boots ever, in rain and snow they have KEPT MY FEET COMPLETELY DRY all the times I've worn them! I bought them in my usual size 9, and they were perfectly true to my size - no need to size down at all like with the Uggs. Best of all, with my jeans they look simply adorable on! My husband really wants a pair now, too! North face has WONDERFUL items and worth every penny! Lastly, Zappos thank you SO MUCH for your absolutely wonderful service! After many purchases and happy returns with Zappos, I finally found the perfect boots for serious winter conditions. If you are looking for great winter boots you should get these. Worth every penny! Thank you Zappos! You are the best online store out there!

Even in four feet of snow these kept my toes nice and toasty, plus this year for the first time I didn't slip on any ice. I'd like to think it was my grace and talent but no I am pretty sure it was thanks to these beauties. It also has extra ankle support for when you hit those ice spots.

Great shoes! I bought these for my 11 year old daughter and she loves them. We are moving from NC to Kansas and needed some good snow boots. These are so warm and comfortable!

These boots deliver! They keep my feet toasty warm while I\'m shoveling or taking a walk. I wear heavier socks and bought 1/2 size up from my normal footwear. My feet are snug, even my bony heels. I wear my thermal pants while wearing these boots, so that eliminates the chafing some have noted.

I have never worn a warmer pair of boots. Having moved from AZ to WI, I needed warm clothes, and fast, for the WI winters. These boots were just the ticket. They are a little heavy, but they are comfortable, warm and stylish.

I got these as a gift for my mom. They do run a little small and they are stiff, like other reviewers have noted. They are warm, easy to slip on, and my mom loves them!

I used these boots in Flagstaff, Arizona for walking in snow and ice. I had no fear, I did not even come close to slipping. Very secure grips on the soles and my feet stayed nice and warm.

I recently purchased a pair of hiking boots that would work for snow conditions, too. I love my North Face Greenland boots! Not only are they very comfortable but have excellent support and easy in and out due to a side zipper (very cool). My feet are comfortable and dry. The boots are actually really nice looking and not bulky as some snow types can be and I wear them other places when added warmth is needed. Thanks Zappos, once again I am very satisfied.

These boots are fabulous! I've worn them for about a month now and the aforementioned stiffness really does improve over time. I normally wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 boot fits very well with or without socks. It doesn't slip on the heel and I'm overall super happy with the purchase. I highly recommend these boots.
