Horrible fit and weight. Have lost count of how many pickleball shoes I've purchased from Zappos. By far the worst shoes! Would love to return, however I've worn them 2X.

The updated gel resolution x was a disappointment. Gel resolution 9's were my "go to" court shoe but sadly gel X's aren't great. The higher inside ankle design rubs and the design is not as pleasing. An overall disappointment. I'm going to have to find another court shoe.

not a good fit , my son found it uneven fit as compared to gel resolution 9. He did not want to wear it.

I am so disappointed in the Gel Resolution X. The redesigned lacing makes them uncomfortable and fit badly. Im so glad I bought several pairs of the Gel Resolution 9 before they were discontinued. The shoe color is good but if you cant wear them it doesnt matter.

Good shoe, like the color, but a bit stiff - rigid. I preferred the Gel Resolution 9.

My right foot absolutely loves these shoes. My left foot hates them. Left shoe "clicks" every time I take a step. Seems like the upper is doing something odd. After three 2 hour tennis sessions the left shoe has not gotten better and my foot is sore after each game.
I'd also recommend:
k swiss for tennis, hoka for casual walking.

Im a tennis instructor and have worn Prince and Head shoes for over 20 years. I decide to try the Gel-resolutions because a lot of my members wear Asics and have positive things to say about them. They look like a comfortable tennis shoe. The shoe runs about a half size bigger than normal. It also takes a while to break them in. I was having trouble with my left heal the first week I wore them. I never had too much of a problem in the past. After a few weeks (25-30 hours on the court per week) they have gotten better but not great. Part of this could be because they run too big but also the shoe feels pretty stiff with not much give. They should have been broken in by now.

I have had the Resolution shoes for several generations. All were great.. but not this one. The cutout for the ankle bone has changed on the inside of the ankle. It is right at the middle of the bone. After wearing the shoes for a couple of hours playing PB, that bone starts to hurt. I don't understand why the support goes up that high. The outside cuff is fine, same as before. I don't wear my new X much at all now. It's too painful after a couple of hours.

This shoe was not supportive at all for my plantar fasciitis. My feet were on fire within 5 minutes of trying to move around in any kind of athletic manner.

I have been wearing the gel resolution 8 and then 9 over the past few years while playing pickleball. The gel resolution x were very comfortable but unfortunately they have a wider toe box that didnt work for me. I have recommended the shoe to friends that were looking for a wider shoe.

I wanted to like this shoe as I've worn the Resolution for a few years now and have been very satisfied with the fit, comfort and performance. Sadly, that is no longer the case. The changes from the Resolution 9 have made this shoe completely unwearable. It's gotten even heavier, up to 2 ounces heavier depending on size of shoe. They've added for rubber and filler as well as this huge "cuff" on the medial side which rubs your ankle and is very discomforting and serves no purpose. The toebox seems to be affected by the additional rubber, so it's cut the internal room in the shoe, especially the toebox, down slightly. I put a slightly thicker orthotic in compared to the stock insert and now it causes my toes to rub and blister. I can't imagine this won't affect more people as the Resolution was already on the narrow side for many people. And, with the addition of the outside plate, the shoe itself has overall lost comfort. Sadly I'm on the search for a new shoe brand or maybe some older models left in stock.

Takes a little getting used to with the higher interior ankle support, but does give you better support. Feels a little heavy at first, but a really good shoe! Hope they get more colors

I have been wearing this shoe for the past 5 years. I'm so sad I can no longer wear it. Changes from the last version: - The outside now has a plastic semi-flexible plate going right over the outside ball of your foot. It hits right on that bone, so if that area ever bothers you in another shoe, you'll feel it here. Didn't have that issue on the others. - In size 13, it's 2oz heavier going from 16oz to 18oz in each shoe. - It appears the added weight is from more upper rubber and more filled in (less breathable), and also the added cuff on the medial side. - The upper seems to have more material (cover more area) so the toebox has more volume. However with the addition of the outside plate, it felt more constrictive and uncomfortable.

A significant downgrade from the Gel Resolution 9. Shoes are bulkier and heavier than the previous version. No ability to use a runners knot effectively. Not sure what ASICS was thinking with this design. Im going to try to return these shoes.

THE Best Tennis Shoe that I have ever owned. It has plenty of room in the midsole and toe box. The shoe has great stability on the court and comfort that lasts all day. I normally wear a size 11 in the K-Swiss Hypercourt and I took the advice of the reviewers and dropped down a half size for a perfect fit.

Huge fan of the Gel-Resolution 9 and disappointed to see that this is their replacement for it. Toe box has too much material and is clunky. Shoe fits much wider than predecessor. Returning :(
