The absolute Worst Brooks glycerin shoe ever marketed! When you wear them, you feel like you’re tipping over. They look like space shoes and are not attractive. The padding by the Achilles protrudes and causes discomfort after wear. The sneakers do not feel steady. Hey Brooks, if I wanted the feel of Skechers sneakers, I would have bought the much cheaper brand. Needless to say, I will be returning them for a full refund. Hey Brooks, listen to the people and bring back glycerin 16, your best sneaker to date but do not skimp on quality material.

After almost dying in a serious car accident, and undergoing 18 major surgeries in 15 years (all due to the accident), I’ve FINALLY found the perfect running shoes for my feet. My right bad foot has a fused ankle, and a fused right MTP Joint. This specific foot was crushed into a million pieces in the car wreck, and has been rebuilt 4 times in 15 years. I’ve had to relearn how to walk twice, and can’t stand for more than 30-45 minutes without pain. Well, I’ve tried every single brand of running shoes made, and these provide the best support ever! The plush cushioning is what my orthopedic foot/ankle surgeon recommended for my special needs, especially for my bad right foot. They take the pressure off my bad knees, and give relief to my recent Spinal Fusion surgery too. These, as far as I’m considered, are genius shoes! I don’t care about the negative reviews, because these reviews have nothing to do with the hell I have gone through since my car accident. I do not feel like I’m rolling forward and losing my balance at all—They actually help me walk better, and my feet NEVER are tired after wearing these. They’re a miracle for me. Thank you Brooks, for creating a show so miraculous, and a shoe that truly helps me actually be pain free for once!

Not a fan! Disappointed. They feel more like Skechers … feels like your tilting forward. Takes a bit to get used to. Not a fan. Hey Brroks, bring back the support and “cloud feel” of your best Brooks shoe ever - the Glycerin 17!!!!

Love them! I use them for indoor cardio and my feet, knees & back do not feel the impact of landing when running or jumping. The Brooks description reads energized and this is true. You’ll notice that the sock part is somewhat stiffer compared to regular glycerins, which I do miss but hasn’t been a problem - the landings are so phenomenal!! I normally wear a wide, so I’m looking forward to the possibility of Brooks releasing this shoe in a wide version too.

Most comfortable shoes! I am currently suffering from capsulitis of second toe, ball of foot pain and this shoe alleviates most of the discomfort! I do not want to wear anything else. It was recommended and I am so glad I gave them a try! I love them so I ordered a second pair. Wish they also made a hiking or gortex version. Thank you Zappos!

I am a 52 year-old runner fighting plantar fasciitis for 4 months. Last month I had to take a break from running because of the pain. I tried the glycerin max at a running store but ended up ordering a pair online in the Brooks website. All I can say is that I have already ran 29 miles this month. Even though, I still have pain, I can run without my foot bothering me. I am so happy with my purchase. I love how soft the shoes feel added to the stability and light weight. These shoes are simply awesome!

I absolutely love these shoes. I got them brand new the day before a Disney trip and wore them the entire 4 days rope drop to close and my feet never hurt. My feet were tired for sure, but not the throbbing hip, back, and foot pain Im used to. These were a life saver for me. I only wish they had a pull tab on the back to help get them on. Legitimately no other suggestions.

I like Brooks since 2016. I discovered them through my podiatrist, she mentioned I needed them due to a fleet feet condition. The first I have gotten was the glycerin type, 2nd purchase was the Ghost Max SUPER COMFORTABLE and last purchase was December 2023 the Glycerin Max. Liked the new look and color, it has lot of cushioning but not that comfortable for a flat feet.

This is a great max cushion, easy day running shoe. Doesn't feel too heavy on the feet, and more breathable than some of the other max cushion shoes from other brands. Will definitely be keeping in my rotation.

The Brooks Glycerin Max feels awesome, and I was excited to run in them. However, they ran a bit smaller than I anticipated, so I needed to return them.

Love the new Brooks Glycerin Max. I’ve been walking 15K steps per day after getting two energetic puppies that require separate walks. When wearing my old Brooks Glycerin GTS my feet were screaming but after upgrading to the Max I have had no foot pain since. Total game changer for long mileage.

The perfect standing shoe, the perfect short to medium distance walking shoe. Not the best long distance walking shoe especially in high humidity. They fit perfectly but both sides of my feet got painful blisters and I still have the scarring from them after almost two months from my trip to Singapore. The day I started to limp was when we walked Sentosa Island for almost 25k steps. It was max humidity and heat and for the rest of the trip I had to be careful but still managed the 20k+ a day. You cant stop this photographer from sightseeing. I cant imagine what this would be like for runners or long distance walkers. I use these shoes for standing support and getting my daily steps in but I would not trust them again to carry me through another active vacation especially in the heat. I do trust these on ice though! They have great grip at home for an athletic shoe. Ill give em that. And thankful they finally came out in black. I have lower back pain and need to stay active. But standing too long causes really bad pain. Sitting too long also doesand walking too long alsoso I stay active. And I like these shoes for standing mostly.

These are great, but I need something with more support Its a total bummer that these arent available in a GTS version, especially because the Glycerin GTS 22 is so awful this year.

LOOOOOVE these shoes. I typically wear Brooks Ghost 15s for my indoor and tred runs, but wanting to get outside and run to train for a 15k, I didn't have much support for my joints and had so much pain after just a couple miles. I do have a torn ACL and torn meniscus and wear a knee brace so I've been looking for a shoe that will help with absorption while running on pavement and THIS IS IT! Don't let the bulky shoe scare you. It doesn't weigh as heavy as it looks and it feels like you're running on a soft, cushioned matt. The angled toe also helps propel my feet and keeps me running further. Definitely noticed a difference after an outdoor run with little to no pain in my knees. The only negative I have about the shoe is I wish there was a little more ankle and arch support, but that's being extremely critical.

I'm new to Brooks shoes. These looked so comfortable I just had to try them. I have feet that hurt all the time. I walk and run a lot (at least try to) These felt great. Very cushy. My toes don't feel squeezed. I love them. I bought the Black ones. I want the while but I'm not crazy about the pink sole. But these are great.
