I usually wear US size 11, this one is 11.6 (seriously) and fit me just right with thicker socks too. Hands down the best boots I ever worn for work. I am a technician in remote Alaska and on my feet for 10-12 hours a day in the Bucket truck, snowy and muddy conditions, on ladders, in the attics, on 4 wheelers, at various random places, etc. Superior grip and tank like feel with great support on my ankle. I would by another one as needed, no question about that.

These are quiet possibly the perfect hiking boot. Stiff enough for heavy packs, comfortable enough you could wear them everyday if you wanted. They are amazing!

I've had these 4yrs now and I can say without question, these are the best most well made boots I have EVER had. The stability, arch support, sturdiness, build quality,....eveythin about them is on a WAY different level than any other. The feature I like the best is the ankle support, the second you put them on, you can feel a huge difference in the 2 areas of the ankle that indent on your foot. Completely fills these in with support and comfortable padding. One of the stiffest soles boots I have had which I love!. They envoke soooo much confidence. I see these last 10+ yrs easy with routine maintenance of the leather

Following a nasty ankle injury, I was very much in need of a comfortable, stable pair of boots
These are amazing. Fit, construction, look.

Fits like a dream and has gorgeous high quality leather. The problem I'm debating is whether I can deal with the squeaky leather. Once I got everything all cinched up the boots were quite squeaky. Maybe they just need a little trail dust...I found the quality of construction and feel to be better than the Scarpa SL Activ and the Lowa Tibet GTX. Weight of a pair of size 12.5 US was 4lbs 8 oz.

I've worn these boots on a 7 or 8 trips through a variety of terrain and conditions: very rugged & steep off-trail scrambling over/through rocks, bushes, etc. In snow & rain. the boots are fantastic. Not light, but very sturdy, secure, protective. my feet never got wet. I wear insoles so I can't comment on the arch support. I wear a size 14 wide shoe and the size 49 fit me great. I think they look great, but I don't care how they look. 5 stars.

Ottimo prodotto, usato molte volte su fondi differenti e mi son trovato molto bene. Bisogna trovare il giusto tiraggio dei lacci: non troppo stretti.

I absolutely love these boots. So much that my girlfriend is sick of hearing me express my feelings about how amazing they are. It did take about a month to break them in, probably hiked about 30 miles before they really started to feel like slippers. There's been a few times my footing has shifted on rocks and these boots saved my ankle. They're not too heavy and they are holding up great. I've put about 150 miles on them so far and have no complaints! They are true to size, but if you're going to wear heavy padded socks and liners maybe go a 1/2 size bigger. They're probably not built for people with wide feet, but I am in love with how these boots hug my feet without the hot spots. I'm blown away by the quality of these boots. Terrific job on these Scarpa!

I came across this boot while looking for a new boot for search and rescue work. We are often carrying a 35-40 lb pack of personal gear plus any system gear we might need. The Kinesis Pro looked like a good compromise between a light weight hiker and a heavier mountaineering boot. These boots are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I've done one training day in them consisting of rappelling, raising and lowering, and some minor class 3/4 climbing and a quick 6 mile / 1200 ft hike. No hot spots or blisters so I'm pretty pleased. As far as fit, I wear a 41.5-42 in well fitting dress shoe and went with a 43.5 boot with mountaineering socks (a 43 probably would have been okay).

These boots are excellent. They have a nice high profile with the best support of the current Scarpa boots in the hiking category. The leather is good quality and the lacing system is excellent. They have been returned however, as they are too heavy on the feet compared to the others in the range and too hot for the climate I am walking in most of the time. If you want something sturdy and you're not going to be heading up hill most of the time you are unlikely to beat these.

Note: These boots should be ordered about 1 FULL size larger than your regular shoe size if you’re using their US to EU conversion chart.
First of all, these are bomber boots, meaning they’re sturdy and stiff and very well built. Maybe a little too “built,” to be honest. I ended up returning these boots, despite the great sale price, because when I got them on, they felt very clunky and heavy. For a boot that can’t be re-soled, that’s a lot of weight to carry around and then have to be thrown out when the tread wears down. I’m sure these would have been great to use when carrying a heavy, 50+ lbs. pack in rugged terrain… but I ended up going with a lighter but equally sturdy design that saves me .5 lbs. on each foot by making use of more modern materials… albeit at full price. In summary, these are a traditional style boot that should last many miles, but at the cost of weight and bulk.

My double socked foot for hiking: 280mm long, 111mm wide, Euro size 44. Boot: US 10.5, Euro 44. Length okay, just a little too narrow across my forefoot. Probably okay with one thin sock. One size chart said my foot was an E width, boot is a D. Probably a nice roomy boot for a D width foot. Toe box felt cramped; like suddenly narrowed right after wide part for fore foot. Foot bed very hard, like tile, under big toes & balls of feet. Shape of foot bed felt good. Nice metal rollers for lacing system over top of foot makes it easy to snug without overdoing it.

Overall boots are fantastic, however can get the same boot for $50 cheaper on Amazon and Zappos won't price match any longer. First bad customer service experience with Zappos...unfortunate as I had a slight addiction to Zappos.
