I bought these for my son and he has not once complained about his feet hurting . Usually after a day of school he would be asking me to rub his feet. Thank you Hoka for making these!

Bought this for my daughter who was having knee pain with the running shoes she was running. Switched to these and there's been no pain since. She ran her first 5k since having these this past weekend with no issues.

The first thing that attracted me to the kids shoes were the colors. Kids shoes always have better colors most of the time than woman's. For some reason the standard colors for women are always pinks, purples and more feminine colors. I've never been a fan of those colors. I've always enjoyed the bold primary and secondary colors. Therefore when I saw the blue and red color I knew I had to get. I am lucky to be able to fit in kids shoes. I typically wear a women's 6.5/7 and I bought the 5Y and they fit perfect. Only time will tell if the quality matches up to the adult shoes. Luckily I can compare overtime since I have the Clifton 9s now in both women's and kids. One thing I noticed right away was the shoe material is different than the adults. Also the weight of the shoe. Hopefully it offers the same support or close to the women's since kids shoes are tailored to kids not necessarily adults. However at 5 feet there's more kids probably taller than me wearing size 5Y-7Y so I think I'll be okay. Upon first wear the soles were kinda airy and making a puff like noise. It doesn't affect the shoe in anyway but overtime I expect that to reside and more break in occurs with the shoes. Overall extremely happy and the lower price does help compared to the adult pricing. If you're on the fence about the kids shoes, I say get them. You can't beat the colors and the price when comparing to the adults.

What's funny is I had to learn how to walk in them. I was never used to balancing/walking on my heals instead of the ball of my feet. I love them. I'm gonna have my son buy me a pair for my birthday in August.

My son is 10 and has been waiting for Hoka One One to come out with kids sizes. He loves the comfort and support. I do wish the soles were made a little stronger for kids since they can be hard on shoes. But he loves them.

I wear a sz 3 in kids but I'm an adult. The shoes you have for kids do NOT support what I need them for. I work standing & walking for 16hrs & I need more support than what is in kids shoes. Also you guys start sizes @ 3 1/2 & they fit me big. I would really love it if you guys can put more support & make smaller shoes to fit us smaller yet older women. I really wish my feet wouldn't hurt so much even if I wear them.

The shoes are very comfortable, however the 'mesh' covering the toe box seems to be made of a plastic material. It is not soft and breathable like my Clifton 8. I returned the shoes. This might be fine for some people, but it was not what I wanted. So, I can't recommend to a friend or not recommend to a friend.

I ordered my usual size from a different style of Hokas that fit perfectly. Unfortunately, this style is a bit too big in the toe box.

The fabric of the Clifton 8 was so much better, softer. The 9 has a harder, crunchy surround that I do not like. They also run a little wider.

I was attracted to the color black/grey of clifton kids so I decided to give it a try. I have several hoka's for work mostly and for walking and hiking. I'm size 6.5W and bought 5Y which was perfect. The shoes feels lighter, cushy, but makes squeaky sounds as you walk. The upper is not the typical breathable stretchy mesh material but more of plastic feel hence not stretchy. The shoe fits me and there was comfort like hoka TM until it hurt my foot after my 12hrs shift. The Pain location is on the right side of my little toe and right forefoot. (Blisters galore). I really wanted to like this shoes because of the color but I can't stand the discomfort. I love my clifton 8 and was hoping clifton 9 would be a positive upgrade however now I'm doubtfulI'm unsure if adult clifton 9 will give me the same problem. Also, for your kind consideration : Hoka Team, will you make better color scheme for women's same as how you make those nice color vision for men and kids?

This shoe is comfortable for my son who always complains that his feet hurt. There is one downside to them. I noticed that the midsole immediately started to fade out from black to white. Given the price of the shoe I would expect better quality, so I am disappointed in this. We have tried all brands including on cloud but he likes the comfort of Hoka. I purchase shoes every two months and am debating whether or not I will purchase again.

I have the Clifton 9s in women 8.5 and needed a new pair. I bought a kids 7 instead because I like the color combo in the kids. I was very disappointed. The kids shoe is much more narrow than the women’s. I had to make the laces very loose to fit on my foot and the laces are not long enough to do this enough. The material is very rigid but at the same time feels inferior. It actually bunched up where my toes bend. For the price of these kids shoes they should be well made. They do not appear to be. They are being returned. I wish Hola would either make the kids shoes better in quality or make the kids colors available in adult sizes.

This is the second pair of this shoe that I've purchased for a nine year old boy. The first pair started having pieces of tread come undone, so I returned them and ordered a second pair. We've had this pair for 6 weeks and the same thing is happening. I'm not going to try Hoka again.

I got the 2 smallest youth sizes to try because I am a small adult (5') and they are still way too large. For reference, I can fit some women's 5s in shoes, but for sneakers I usually need smaller. The 3.5 and 4 youth were too long by a lot. It's disappointing that they don't offer smaller sizes and I doubt these would fit most kids.

I love Hoka and have several pairs myself. But the kids Hoka aren't there yet. Got the first pair for my kids, and within a month the tread started coming off the shoes. We've had to superglue the treads on multiple times now. I trust the brand, but they messed up on the soles of these shoes. Also, my kid is "pretty normal" when it comes in terms of usage. The shoes haven't been under extre stress or wear.

They fit well and are fairly comfortable. However, the heel feels lower than the front and make them uncomfortable for walking too much.
