I wear these for trail walking and some running, for everyday use and for travel. If I can only take one pair of shoes, these are it. They are incredibly comfortable! All my Topos have wonderful fit, great grip and love The colors!

I love these, and I think they are very much improved from the first version! The first version of these didn't work for me - they were too heavy and squishy, and just too much "work" to wear. This version keeps the comfort of the originals, but they are lighter and more responsive. They feel like a heftier, trail version of the Magnifly. I bought these for daily walks and occasional jogging on a rocky dirt/mud path which not exactly flat, but no serious climbing either. They work great for this purpose. For more technical hikes I prefer better ground feel, but I think these will be perfect for trail walking and jogging. My one complaint is that there should be a wider range of color choices. As a person who wears a lot of warm, earthy colors, neither of the two color choices appeal to me. Don't get me wrong, the shoes are pretty on their own, but the colors aren't something I want to wear. I would love anything that incorporates colors like olive green, rust, burnt orange, deep teal, earthy pink, beige, cream, etc. vibrant or neutral... either would work! Just please offer a choice other than gray/pastel or super bright easter egg vibes. These are so comfy I would love to be able to wear them everywhere and feel like I look great at the same time!

I'm a teacher who uses a standing desk only, walking constantly on hard floors at work. Outside of work, I'm walking on all kinds of terrain. I've been in zero drop shoes exclusively for over two years, and these are the most comfortable shoes I've had yet! Big fan of Merrels for minimalist zero drops. These Topos beat them all!

Have had both the Pursuit 1 and 2. The 2 feels a little lighter, cooler and more lively than the 1. For shorter runs, still wearing the 1s with over 750miles on them this winter with screws in the soles for better traction on the slick stuff. I normally wear 7.5 in casual shoes, sized up to 8 for running and have a pair of 8.5 that I used after the first 70 miles at the Moab 240. My feet are pretty average, maybe a little on the narrow side. Tread is way better that the Timp and the fit is less sloppy for a more secure feel on the downhill and more techy stuff.

This is my second pair but a different color. Guess you could say I love them.

I loved these and I put more than 500 miles on them before retiring them. I wanted to get a second pair to rotate with my new terraventures for long runs and training runs. I ended up deciding against that, my shoe rotation is now terraventures and I just bought Xeros for the first time I'm gonna try (different brand), and the ST-5 for speed work. I might get these again, they are very strong, long lasting shoes. Now for my only complaints about them they are heavy and not very responsive.

I hike in the PNW these shoes. I love the fit and the excellent traction I get going up and down hills. Unfortunately, will likely have to put them aside during the rainy season.

Love love love these shoes. Love the look and the fit. Was wearing altra for years but now not like they used to be so looked around and found these . So glad I did. The shoe is much prettier in person! I wear 8 1/2 in running shoes and these are perfect. Definitely not waterproof. But ok for damp ground. I think I'll try waterproof next so I'll have the option when ground is wet. Wish they had more color options in all their shoes but I do love the shoe

These feel like the OG Altra Timps and I love them. Altra Timp 2 and later versions just never did it for me like the original 1 and 1.5. In my quest to find a similar shoe, I came across these and they really are great. For those Altra fans that hate the newer styles and the fact that their shoes now fall apart quickly, try these!!

Great tread and cushioning for uphill forefoot trail running. Love the zero drop. These really benefit from cinching up and tying down the heels as they can be a bit loose and unstable with rough varying terrain and downhill. I prefer less cushioning and greater sensitivity with the ground for just hiking and walking.

I love the roomy toe box. I have had some foot surgery including a fusion which makes my big toe stick up a bit. This brand is amazingly comfortable for the toe box and the amazing cushion. I also love the 0 drop the best! I have the Pursuit so this second version made sense. It is even comfier! I will be purchasing more. #sweepstakes

Love how the toe box is roomy but the fit around the ankle is secure and comfortable. I feel stable on trails with minimal slipping. They are responsive and springy.

The shoes are comfortable, lightweight (for trail shoes), have good grip, and are well balanced. They are good over any terrain, especially dry grass with uneven ground with rocks and tree roots. Breathable, wide enough, and are good for more than just trails. Tread is not meant for extreme trails and can get to be a little over the top for anything on-road or inside.

These are so comfortable upon first wear! Unfortunately there isn't enough cushion in the toes for a toe runner like me, and they are too pliable which mess with the arthritis in my foot. I love the big rock plate and the extra grippy lugs. I wanted to 100% love them but I can't with the toe cushion and bend.

I bought the mint/grey in a 7.5. I loved the color combo, even though I hadn't expected to like it, not really being into grey colored shoes. The fit seem a bit better for me than the older pursuit which was a bit looser, but I eventually stopped wearing them because there was an uncomfortable cutting pressure in area where the laces are located and at and just above my upper toe joints. This might be because I have high arches. I wanted to loosen the laces, but they were at their loosest. . Otherwise the shoes seemed well made and the wide toe box is great.

This shoe felt fine until I put a mile or two on it. then it is definitely tighter in the heel box and mid foot. The toe box seems a little short too. Not a sock issue. Same socks in all shoes. Maybe just a one off for this shoe. Great overall look and lugs.

Trail. Felt great but too stiff for my foot. I returned but they were really nice shoes I stuck with MT5 a little more flex but not as much stability

I so wanted the 'Topo Athletic Pursuit 2' to work out - but after testing the shoe inside/on carpet - sadly it is going to have to be returned. I thought since it is 'zero differential' the insole that was 'level'. Despite being 'zero differential', the shoe has a very pronounced arch area, making it quite uncomfortable. The shoe felt shorter and more narrow than other same size shoes in the brand. Perhaps for some people the insole that is going to be comfortable -- it is referenced as an 'FKT Insole'. The insole has 'little raised bumps' all over the insole. For me that was very uncomfortable. (Other Topo shoes I have used have a smooth insole which has been comfortable.) I could have decided to separately purchase alternative smooth insoles to replace the 'bumpy' ones, but with the price of the shoe, it seemed rather economically impractical to need to purchase another set of insoles that would have added to the cost of the shoe. Sadly I will need to return the shoe --- but the Zappo return process makes it easy to return if needed.

I have the Pursuit (vs the Pursuit 2). The wide toe box and the zero drop are great, although the shoes are a tad loose for me at the widest part of my foot, so they weren't that great for really rough terrain (too much slippage). I'm still wearing them over a year later, but am looking to replace them. I may purchase the Pursuit 2, but I'm hoping that the company will add additional colors. I love the blue color of my current (older version) Pursuits.

I needed a new pair of trail shoes and have several pairs of Topo's, which I love for my D width small foot so I gave the Pursuit 2 a try. I ordered these and the Terraventure 4 to compare. My feet are happiest in a zero drop or 3mm drop shoe. The Pursuit 2 was perfect in every way except the volume of this shoe in the forefoot was noticeably less than the Terraventure 4, so I decided to return. If the Pursuit had a bit more volume, I would have kept it over the Terraventure as it had a bit more cushion and I preferred the feel of the footbed and zero drop. I have a bunion on my right foot, so the tighter fit was a deal breaker.

This is a well made shoe and I loved the color but they were too big for me. I wear an 11 in Hoka but should have had a 10.5 in Topo Pursuit. Otherwise, the fit would have been great. I could feel the lugs or whatever you call them (on the bottom of the shoes) when I walked in the house on the carpet, so they will not work for me to wear as a daylong shoe. I'm returning the shoes.

I walk the beach with my dog every day, climbing over rocks, seaweed, logs, etc. The tie box for 2025 does not feel or look as round as in 2023. It feels a bit more angled across the toes, which is why I left Altra and went to Topo. I would like to see the toe box go back to the 2023 roundness. I would also like to see some darker colors for options; black, dark grey, navy, etc. I would also prefer a dark edge instead of white.
