Don't get me wrong - I love Hoka shoes - but something with this new variation, maybe the foam, it has given me a pretty sever knee and ankle injury. As someone who runs 50+ miles a week - this is my first injury in 6-7 years due to a shoe.

Mach 6's that just arrived are half a size smaller than the Mach 5's (loved them) I'm trying to replace and the Skyflows I use as trainers now. Mach 6's are short and tight. Returning.

The Mach 6 is stiffer and more ridged than its predecessor. Had to give up on the shoes after 50 to 100 miles as the new design was causing me knee pain.

I have multiple pairs of the Mach 5 to compare the Mach 6 to. The Mach 6 is styled differently and its not an improvement. The shoe feels narrower and tight; the construction appears to be less sturdy, and the soles appears to have minimal tread. Hoka, what did you do to a Great shoe?

Have multiple pairs of Mach 5 which were comfortable, wore well, and the sole lasted a long time. Needed a new pair and tried the Mach 6 which has a much tighter feel, appear to use thinner materials, and the bottom sole is totally different since it has minimal tread and the tread looks like it could easily come apart since the bottom sole is not molded as one piece. Hoka, why did you make these changes on the Mach series when the Mach 5 was great?

Bought some Mach 6s after having several pairs of Mach 5s. Used for road running. Thought the 6s would be similar to the 5s. They are not. Overall fit is good, but the tread is awful. After a couple weeks of running the heal tread is way down. The toe tread is just plain bad. If the roads are wet, which is often the case in the PNW, you'll have no traction and very little grip for climbing. Really disappointed with these. Purchased a bunch of Hokas in the past and always enjoyed them. These are the first real duds. Can't recommend these.

I bought a pair about 3 months ago at a running shoe store because they felt good on the treadmill and were at a good price. Upon first putting them on they initially felt better than any other shoe I'd tried. After a week of running about 4 miles a day, I started to have issues. The front is designed horribly and uses terrible materials. As a result, I've taken my socks off to find my toes bloody because of how bad they are. They might seem to have good energy return, but after some use you notice how little support they really give.

Extremely disappointed with the Mach 6.
The toe box is way too narrow. I've been running in the Mach 5's for a while (have purchased 4 pairs of the Mach 5's). But the Mach 6 is noticeably more narrow.
Why are the shoes not shaped for human feet?

I mailed my shoes back almost 2 weeks ago to be exchanged and you still haven't sent me the larger size. I had the Mach 5's and a size13 fit perfectly the Mock 6 size 13 is too snug so there is definitely inconsistencies with your sizing. Exchange policy is terrible I wish I would've just gotten refunded and ordered another pair instead of waiting the 3-4 weeks it takes to get my exchange.

I have numerous pairs of the Mach 5, which is an extremely comfortable, if rather slow, trainer, with a nice wide platform and a reasonable stack height. The Mach 6 is absolutely AWFUL. Hoka has narrowed the toebox considerably to the point that it is incredibly painful for my normal width feet. And the cushioning is just weird. It's too thick and bouncy and it's all focused on the inside midfoot, to the point that works like a medial post. I would not call this a neutral running shoe. Hoka asks, "what is this shoe best for?" My answer: the trashcan.

Listen, I love my Hokas. They feel great, yeah they wear out somewhat quickly, but they're more durable and comfortable than onclouds atleast. However nothing infuriates me more than when shoe companies don't have consistent sizing across the board. I own a pair of size 13 Hokas, I should be able to order another pair in the same size and not have to worry about them being too small. Width/tightness differences I can understand, but being too small is ridiculous. My other size 13s fit perfectly, so I ordered another pair and my toes hit the end! Ridiculous! Make your sizes consistent. It's such an inconvenience to not be able to rely on consistent sizes within a company. I shouldn't have a pair size 13s and 14s from the same company that fit the same.

For the second pair, within one month of purchase she the fabric on the heal is wearing through. This even though the shoes fit well, and only walking was involved. I will now seek a refund, but am under no illusion that I will receive one. I will not be purchasing HOKA shoes again.

Changed the Mach into a speed shoe basically, it's light but very tight now. The best Mach was 4 & 5. Hoka if you're going to do a big change like this then call it something different. This isn't a Mach

Was a bit disappointed with the sizing. Smaller than the typical size 11. Regret buying online and not trying on first.
