I'd suggest for Brooks and most running shoes to order a half size up if you're a regular size width. If you plan to run or walk a lot and haven't worn Brooks before it may be a good idea to get a professional foot scan to make sure you're getting the right size, width and support levels. I am very pleased with this shoe and it compares favorably with the non GTX model. I would say these have a little less flexibility and a little more weight because they are waterproof but that hasn't been an issue for me. The tongue is also more secured to the sides of the shoe, all of which helps to keep your feet dry during rain or snowy conditions. I have not used these for running but I see no reason to think they won't perform very well like the non GTX model has for years. If you want an all purpose shoe that can be worn outside in all conditions this is a shoe I'd strongly endorse.
I'd also recommend:

I have been wearing adrenalines for 10 years or more. The shoe of the 23s were slightly higher on the outside ankle than on the 22s. Very uncomfortable .Ive worn them to long to return , but will continue getting the 22s if possible .

Have women's adrenaline wide fit before - this is definitely more snug but foot is secure in shoe. It really handles the impact with ease and brilliant for wet weather - much more confident and definitely has helped the pace . Altho a little snug will buy again

Loved the design but the waterproofing made them fit too small. I suggest recommending a half size larger on this model. I returned the pair then bought a Adrenaline GTS 23 which I like the look better than the GTS 24.

Honestly, these pair don't feel as comfortable as my previous GTS 23 GTX's. I have tried to wear them to see if I need to just break them in, but I take them off after about a couple of hours. Is there something different in this pair than your previous GTS GTX's?

Not a runner but a heavy walker for both work and play (city as well as dirt trekking) and over the last year I've tried all of the main brands sold at feet first type stores; the Brooks are hands down the best for all day wear. I have 3 pairs of the GTS23 and got the GTX for rainy day urban exploring

These are seriously the best shoes I've ever owned. I bought a pair after being continually disappointed with the other "Sketchy" brand and will never go back. I just had a hip replacement surgery in July, only a week later I put on my Adrenaline GTS 23 and was walking between a mile and 1 mile regularly. Now I'm up to 5 miles a day and I have no for or knee pain(or hip pain).
Also, most other brands rely on memory foam insoles to be "comfortable" but that's definitely not the case here.

I'm really happy to pick up a pair of these with the GTX I need since the rainy season has begun. So far, I like them a lot. They do fit a bit snug and narrow (not a huge deal), but they keep my feet dry, and I really like the color.

They are waterproof but the soles are rock hard. I was hoping they would feel like the regular version of the shoe but sadly they do not. The size is about a half size smaller than the regular version as well. I am still debating if the waterproofing is worth keeping them or not.

This is a sturdy, well-crafted shoe that provides support while running on trails, roads or on the grass. Compared to other running shoes, I've noticed the bottom of the shoe doesn't wear down after putting the miles on, so I get an extended life from the shoe. It fit true to size and the fabric was soft enough to expand and provide support to my feet as I ran. My feet and ankles felt fully supported when I would change directions while running. I love that there are small reflectors in a few parts of the shoe for nighttime running along with the traces of orange. The fabric was easy to clean when I got the shoes dirty (hand-washed). My favorite feature was the heel support along with the Gore-Tex material that kept my feet dry while running in the rain. I absolutely recommend these shoes, they are beyond wonderful.

These GTS 23 are awesome. Im an avid casual runner and finding the perfect shoe was hard for me. I have flat feet and no arch support whatsoever. Finding the right shoe for me was important because Id get pretty bad plantar fasciitis from not getting the right support. The second I put on these GTS 23s I felt like my feet, knees and hips were being supported properly. As Id run I felt how light these shoes felt on my feet and I loved how comfortable they were. They are true to size and in my opinion fit my wide feet well. The support is what Im raving about. I havent felt this good running in a long time. The only thing Id change is the color combination. Sometimes I take them to work and with the vibrant colors they have it can make it difficult to wear certain clothing. Overall 5 stars for functionality, support and comfort.

The Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX is a superior pair of running shoes that helps to balance stability and cushioning. Its supportive features and segmented crash pad ensure a smooth heel-to-toe transition. The DNA LOFT v2 midsole provides exceptional shock absorption and durability. I have since noticed a significant reduction in foot fatigue during days where I would go for long runs. The breathable Gore-Tex upper keeps my feet dry and comfortable in various windy, stormy or rainy weather conditions. The shoes comfortable fit and secure lacing system make it ideal for runners with high arches. With its responsive ride and reliable traction, the Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX is perfect for daily training and long-distance events as well. I am extremely impressed by its performance on both roads and trails. Overall, this pair of shoes is a top notch choice for all runners who are seeking for a supportive and cushioned ride.

My first impression when wearing the Adrenaline GST 23 GTX shoes was that they were very well secured around the angle with a comfortable padding. They were tight fitted, and did not allow for much adjustment at the laces. The shoes have a great design. They are perfectly balanced with style and simplicity. I was impressed with the fabric of the shoes. They were light, thin, but durable. I love the style of the shoes. The orange color is uncommon but works. However, I would allow for wider adjustments to be made on the fit of the shoe at the laces. I have a wider foot and the slim figure of the shoes make for a very tight fit until the shoes break in.

The fit on these is tight and my toes feel pretty pinched. I personally am used to a wide toe box, so I feel jammed into these. The cushioning is also much thicker than I prefer.
I like the design itself. They look sleek and fast. And they are more flexible than you would think, and surprisingly light for such chunky running shoes.
Unfortunately, these are just not for me. But if you are used to training with a narrow toe box and very thick sole padding, then these would be a good option.

Comfortable, durable, and stylish! Whether a serious runner or a casual novice, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX will be your new go-to shoes. The thick sole and cushioned padding offer exceptional comfort straight out of the box with no need for a break-in period. The fit is true to size and offers plenty of stability and support from the first mile to the last. My favorite feature of the Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX shoes is the waterproof yet breathable fabric. Whether training indoors or trail running in the rain, your feet will stay dry regardless of the conditions. The one thing I would change about the shoes is the height of the heel padding. I have to wear taller socks to keep the shoe from rubbing against the back of my heel. Overall, I highly recommend the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX to anyone wanting a comfortable and functional training shoe!!

After trying the Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX, I felt so close to the perfect shoe. The fit runs smaller than I thought it would have. I typically wear a 11.5, sometimes stretch to a 12 when I need to size up on certain brands. This was a 12 but was still short to the toe. Other than that they felt great for training. I thought that the style and design was wonderful. Bright and vibrant colors without being too flashy or standing out. It definitely felt like a quality shoe through the materials, fabrics, and support used and overall construction of the shoe. I believe if my size was right, this shoe would be my go to running shoe to taking off and becoming the runner Im working to become.

I recently switched to these Brooks Adrenaline shoes from a less structured running shoe and have been enjoying the additional comfort and support these offer. So far Ive primarily used these at the gym for general workouts and longer runs on the treadmill. Ive also worn them out and about casually. As someone with slight pain issues in the hip/glute/lower back area, the extra support in these shoes have helped reduce that pain both during and after wearing. Theyre also able to accommodate some store-bought support insoles I have. I haven't worn these shoes yet for a race or an outdoor run, but I would be confident wearing them.
The shoes are light and comfortable, and I like the style: neutral with some fun pops of color. I strongly suggest trying on multiple sizes; you may find as I did that you need to go up a half size or select a wider width. While I havent had the opportunity to test the Goretex protection for water, as it hasnt rained here since I got these, Id recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a solid, supportive, comfortable running shoe.

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX shoes are the perfect fit for my feet. These shoes are made for comfort. The insole is cushioned well. I like that these shoes are lightweight and ideal for running in. I wear a size 9 and they're true to size and fit me well. I like that they are a little roomy and not snug. They're made of high-quality materials and durable. I also like that they are breathable. Whether I'm running on pavement, on my treadmill, or on a trail, these shoes have good traction. They seem to absorb the impact of my run making it smooth and comfortable. I also like that they have good support. I can wear these shoes all day and my back, legs, and feet feel great when I take them off.

I run around 6 miles, twice a week in Central Park. These are comfortable and supportive for my casual runs. I'm a men's size 11, and these are true to size. They don't have all the bells and whistles, but they get the job done.

As an experienced runner who logs 20+ miles a week on a mix of maintained trails, gravel, and asphalt, I've had the pleasure of running in several iterations of the Brooks Adrenaline line. The Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX continues to uphold the high standards I've come to expect.
The Adrenaline 23 GTX offers a snug yet comfortable fit thats consistent with the Adrenaline line. This is my fifth pair of Adrenaline shoes, and theyve all provided the same fit, true to size.
My favorite thing about the GTX Shoe is the Gore-Tex lining, which makes them ideal for running in rainy conditions. The waterproofing keeps your feet dry, and the traction is more than adequate for easy gravel trails. Ive found these shoes to be perfect for days when the weather is wet, offering both stability and comfort across all types of terrain. I usually retire shoes after 300 or so miles, however, I believe these will make it into my everyday rotation once I have worn them out as a running shoe.
As far as the design, the grey/blue/orange colorway is not only stylish but also practical. The design maintains a clean look, which helps in hiding dirt and keeping them looking sharp longer.
In summary, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX is a stellar choice for runners seeking reliability and performance in all weather conditions. Theyve earned their place as my go-to shoe for rainy days, proving that Brooks continues to deliver top-notch quality with each new release.
