Velcro stap that is too short! These were the perfect sandal...until I went to velcro them and the strap left over an inch of velcro exposed. I have no desire to walk around like a toddler that cannot velcro their shoes, and for the price of these, I expected the strap to close. Please offer more sandals with a buckle so that those of us that need to, can truly adjust the fit.

I really like these. I got the black color. The footbed is softer than I expected (and am glad about!) is comfortable and didn’t need much breaking in. I have a hard time with shoes feeling comfy but these worked right out of the box. I have a narrow foot and ordered a 7, even though I wear 8 in most other shoes. The system tried to tell me it wouldn’t fit based on my other shoes orders but the 7 was perfect. The style is nice too - not fancy but casual, neat and youthful looking.

These sandals are super cute and the most comfortable foot bed I've ever felt. Unfortunately, the strap that goes across the toes has a seem that hits the top of my toe and is automatically irritating. Bummed but will return and try a different style

The footbed is amazing on these sandals, and they have great arch support, but the back heel strap is oddly very short, leaving much of the rough portion of the Velcro strip exposed. This will inevitably snag clothing and attract lint and debris. For $175, that's unacceptable. Also I would say these run a half size large, which I had seen in other reviews. I usually wear a 7.5 in sandals, but ordered a 7.

These are verrrry cute on. The leather is soft and my foot feels secure. I am size 7.5 so I ordered the 8. It was too large, and the size 7 fits perfectly. And it covers my bunions, too. There was a mix-up when I exchanged sizes, and Zappos customer service was wonderful to work with, as usual. They made it more than right!

LOVE these!! Sadly they have to go back as they are to narrow for my feet and the sides of my feet spill over.

This is a great sandal for walking or standing. It has great support and still bends at the ball of your foot when you walk.

Wow! These sandals are so comfortable! No need to break in - ready to go immediately. Great arch support and nice fit all around. Great sandal for days with lots of walking.

I adore this sandal. I have a few pairs in different colors, and love to be on my feet, walking or standing all day long. They support my whole foot, cushioned from toe to heel, and bend at the ball of the foot for a natural gait. One pair has to go back because there is an uncomfortable lump in the arch. It’s not visible, but I couldn’t ignore it. I ordered a different pair which is perfect. I normally wear 7 1/2 in sandals, but this runs a half size large in my opinion. The size 7 is just right.

I love these sandals and will buy another pair in another color. They do take a little breaking in. I've worn mine 3 times and they are feeling pretty good now.

I wore these for 2 weeks in Europe, and they were amazing! My feet didn’t hurt, I could adjust the straps to my swollen feet (Lots of walking in hot weather). Definitely worth the money. I’m still choosing them most days now that I’m home.

fit and size were spot on. I just am said to return because I have fat ankles and the adjustable strap around the ankle does not sit right for my feet.

I saw a lot of people said these run large, but they seemed true to size for me. They were so comfortable right out of the box. They are pricey - at least to me- but I think they will be great for my trip.

These are so cute and comfortable!

These are the most comfortable sandals in every way possible! The overall comfort, the feeling of the material on your skin, and the straps are adjustable. There was no breaking in for me and I can wear them all day and feel as comfortable as when I first put them on. These are worth the money! I have a hard time buying similar priced brands, like Birkenstocks, for shoes that are just comfortable enough. These are above and beyond. I will definitely be buying more sandals from Taos.

Velcro strap too short to wear size 7 and size 8 was too long. Nice sandal by just an extra inch on both straps would have covered the exposed velcro! Looks sloppy with velcro showing. Otherwise could have been a very comfortable sandal. As usual I always struggle between size 7 and 8 in Taos sandals. Wish there were half sizes.

Fit was good - but the heel strap velcro was so off - unless you pulled it around really tight - one piece of velcro barely touched the other - so it didn't feel secure. Otherwise its a very attractive shoe. It's a shame that this little thing is causing me to return it. I'll try the larger size to see if that helps, but I have my doubts.

I really liked these shoes. I got them for a trip to France and found them really comfortable and pretty supportive during lots of walking. However less than a week into wearing them, one shoe has started cracking on the bottom in several places. They weren’t exposed to any extreme heat. I’ll keep wearing them but I don’t know how long they will last. Disappointing.

I have somewhat narrow feet, so I look for shoes that are supportive and adjustable. These fit comfortable right out of the box - a surprise to me, there was no rubbing or sliding. Great fit.
