These are just my walking / recovery shoes, I don't run in them, but they are literally the exact shoe I wanted when i tried to buy the Altra Escalante's. Something with some cushion and zero drop, with a roomy toe box. These far and away surpass them in build quality and in comfort. Only downside is I wish they had some better colorways :'-) which is not a new complaint for this brand. Only complaint at all!

I use these mostly for self-powered incline treadmill walking, sled pushing, walking outside and a little running and wanted something that was supportive in the midfoot, had some active and passive arch support but had room in the toe box for natural toe placement. Out of the box, it's the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn. Maybe 4-5 miles per day for about a week and no hotspots, and zero foot, lower leg, knee, hip or lower back soreness. Outstanding, this pair exceeded my expectations.

Toe box is a bit more narrow than Altra but still adequate. Heel seems more durable compared to Altra.

Own number of other brand of zero drop shoes. Own both styles of Topo zero drop shoes. Love the Topo toe box and both are very comfortable. If interested in getting into zero heel shoe , this would be a great shoe to start with.

I wear these every single day on the job as a hospital nurse, so +/- 5 miles there, plus some short jogs. This specific shoe is the key for me staying injury-free with nice, elongated calves. (If anyone was a 1st-gen Altra Escalante user from ~2017 or so, you'll likely love this shoe. Excellent wiiiide toe box, true zero drop, minimal cushion that's decently responsive). I could have done without the unwelcome instep support plastic piece, but that wasn't a dealbreaker just distracting.

Generally I trail run; however, between the Eaton fires in Altadena wiping out my running trails (which is hardly a travesty for me personally) and the residual toxic air quality, I've been running exclusively on the treadmill. Absolutely soul crushing, until these shoes. Light and comfortable and attractive. Sometimes I even forget I'm running in place, staring at an empty wall.

I use these shoes for walking our dog every day, covering 5-7 miles. The cushioning is perfect for the hard surfaces we encounter (sidewalk). I wear a wide size 14 in most shoes and find that the standard toe box on Topo shoes accommodates my feet quite well.

I didn't love the Magnifly out of the box...they took a little adjusting. Once they broke in, however, they have become my go to shoes. I actually use them for mostly dirt and gravel trails; they are sturdy and responsive underfoot. I've also started using them for longer tempo runs (8 miles) on paved surfaces - they are also excellent there! I've owned more responsive shoes, but as an everyday trainer on a variety of surfaces, they are outstanding and durable with sufficient cushioning across the whole foot, but not so much that I'm sinking into the foam or weighed down. Magniflys are a great, more durable alternative to Altras, with the same wide toe box and snug heal fit benefits, but better cushioning and a longer lifespan. Great shoes!

Went to my trusted local running store for advice on walking/light jogging shoes I could use to complete my recovery from plantar fasciitis. I'd been using fairly cushioned Altra shoes, but they just weren't getting me to 100%, and I was getting frustrated. I didn't even know Topo shoes existed until the sales guy suggested I try the Magnify 5. It fit really well and had just enough cushioning (but not too much, which is what can prevent healing). I tried wearing them all day, and they really felt good. The next day, I walked briskly with my dog for about three miles, mostly on the road, and they felt even better on my injury. The structure and design of the shoe really makes walking in them feel right. Your toes can spread out and flex independently, and the heel really locks in comfortably. The heel strike is not a jolting thud, but more of a roll forward, if that makes any sense. These are neutral shoes, not stability shoes, but the overall impression for me is that my foot is very stable, and my stride mechanics feel really natural. Best of all, no heel pain, and none afterward either! Whoever designed these shoes knows what they are doing!

It works and - unlike many other shoes - it doesn't give me blisters when walking fast.

No changes and shoes are a great match for walking and running with my dog on roads and smooth gravel roads.

Came from Altra Escalantes as my last shoe, and I am loving these Magnaflys! Foam is slightly firmer, but softens up to a perfect level on longer runs (and I'm hoping to maybe get a few more miles out of them with the firmer foam). The big difference to me is the super locked down heel and ankle feel of the Magnafly, and the even roomier toe box than the Altras. Definitely enjoying running in these so far! #sweepstakes

For years I have purchased extra wide shoes and sneakers for marginal toe box comfort at the cost of mid sole sloppiness. Your design nails it. You are onto something here. Please offer more durable uppers on sneakers and boots such as leather and suede. A little more style and your product will be the next must have brand. #sweepstakes

I really like the upper on this version of the shoe. If you used to like Fli-lyte but don't like the updated version, this may be a good substitute for you!

Topo's roomy toe box and overall quality has never failed. However, it was a few years back that they introduced the lace loops on the tongue. These are too high and require lacing thru the heel adjustment eyelets. This prevents me from proper foot extension at the ankle as it binds me up a bit. Bring back or add the traditional tongue hole. I also prefer a little bit more space in the lacing sock to account for bone structure differences and allow you to adjust the lacing fit. This model seems to be a bit less. I am almost lacing both sides together... even with max cush socks. It is still my goto model and shoe. I would also love more FUN vibrant color choices...

I use my Magnifly 5's for everything. , I got second pair recently. I am a nurse and on my feet a lot and they have been great for work. And I have a pair for everyday use and the occasional run. I've found that the amount of cushion it has combined with the zero drop has helped with so many of my feet issues I have had in the last few years. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I'll continue to buy these as long as they make them. #sweepstakes

I'm impressed with the Magnifly 5 and the main reasons are the upgraded zip foam, lightweight mesh upper, and comfortable fit! So far, the upgraded zip foam is much more comfortable than previous models. The lightweight mesh is great, breathable. The fit is very good, however I do find that I need a med/max cushioned sock to make the shoe fit just right... I won't knock the shoe for that, it's more of a fine tuning aspect for me personally. I highly recommend the Magnifly 5!

#sweepstakes I actually use these shoes for work as a physical therapist since I stand on my feet, walk, run and move all day and they are an absolute dream. Light, airy, wide toe box that is the perfect fit between support and comfort.

I bought these for my husband who has arthritic feet and toes. He says it's like walking on pillows and he has plenty of toe room!!!! Have been doing a lot of walking on vacation and he says his feet do not hurt!!!! So hard to find him comfortable shoes with a wide toe area! He loves them!!!! # sweepstakes

After trying the Specters, I thought I didn't like Topos. I've been buying my shoes a half size too large it seems (foot issue). I've been running for 4 years and the magniflys are the best fitting shoes I've ever had. They just hug my feet so well and I do not get any rubbing. Only downside is how flat the shoe feels. It doesn't feel like there's much under the shoe but I know that's part of the package. I don't dock it points for that, just have to use it for the proper application.

They are my favorite walking shoes for my early morning walks. I wanted a wide toe shoe that was really a wide toe box shoe. These fit the bill.
