The first time in over 15 years I found a pair of shoes that are actually comfortable and strong and I don't usually get new balance cuz I don't know that company like that but these shoes are these shoes especially if you're a big guy and you put wear and tear on your shoes I'm going to tell you these are the Cadillac of shoes I hate them other shoes that you can't even work in cuz they hurt your feet they don't feel comfortable you got to break them in and out of these shoes are the shoes you want

The insole is garbage, but what the biggest downside of this shoe, is that I felt areas that dipped and bumped up where it was glued beneath the insole . Hard to explain but my big toe on one shoe felt like it was in a small crater and on the other shoe I felt a ridge pressing on the side of my foot. I removed the cheap insole and felt around. And it’s clearly glue from where they glued the bottom of the shoe to the sides. The right shoe wasn’t constructed straight because my heal was digging into the side of the shoe and was resting on the lip of the insole. And after modifying another insole and placing it on top of the factory insole I was able to wear them. 3 months later the back of both shoes are completely gone. My heals are rubbing on ruff plastic.

Out of the box these are a great fit. I sent back 3 major brands, only to find these had a toe box that didn't rub my toes. if you have a wide foot give these a try.

I had some hesitations when buying this shoe as there were no reviews, but it looked nice and of good quality. As the first person to review it, I want to share my thoughts with you. The shoe has a very pleasant appearance and can be worn in regular daily life. It does not look bulky, and as you can see in the photos, the material is quite high quality. I was expecting the insole to be soft, but it's a bit hard. However, when you wear it, it provides a very comfortable experience, so I'm not complaining. My shoe size is 13. Being a tall person, this shoe will be very useful for me at work.

This is an updated review, now in shoes since May this year. Walking up to 10 miles a day as security guard. Still No foot pain. Best shoe ever. Holding up really well. I don’t know what the naysayers motive is but my experience with this shoe has been outstanding!

Perfect fit for my Fred Flinstone feet I found a perfect pair. The width is on target and so it is my foot comfort. Nice looking as well and light to walk with. So thrilled I found these!

These has been killing my feet… I work long hours and the lack of support on the heels doesn’t help at all…. Wish I would’ve bought a different pair but I’m stuck with these…

There's very little choice in size 16 and wide but these shoes are amazing. A little on the expensive side though. But I have 2 jobs and I have one in each color for each of my jobs. Check them out..

It's New Balance, what can you say, fit, quality and comfort all top notch, just like all their other shoes. Will always be my go to shoe for comfort. These are no exception. Surprising lite for a work shoe, composite toe feels just like any other sport kicks. I spend 10hrs a day in these and no issues with support. A+++++

My 6'5 son is very pleased with these shoes. He informed me that: "I've never once in my life worn a pair of steel/alloy/composite toe shoes that were comfortable, or where my toes weren't wedged against the plate. They are amazing and perfect. Thanks Mom!!" I got him the size 13 6E (extra extra wide).

So wide that it’s hard to drive but I love them.

Shoe feels good for a safety shoe.

Just threw these on. I'm 6 ft 2 and weigh 280. They feel pretty decent. A bit heavy but the fit is nice. I don't feel the cap rubbing which is crucial. I'll return to Amazon on Thursday and give them a try. I usually have no success with Zappos at work. I'm optimistic.

Not enough cushion in the tongue. I'm getting sore sections on the top of my feet because of the pressure from the shoe while walking.

New Balance is known for wide sizes, but so far, the only truly wide sized shoe is their Fresh Foam X Trail More v3. Unlike this Quikshift, the Fresh Foam is wide from heel to toe. The Quikshift 4E is really just a 2E with slightly wider toe box. New Balance, you are on the right track with the Fresh Foam X Trail More V3. New Balance, please widen your lasts and start producing more real 4E's. Stop being afraid to manufacture truly wide shoes. Your Fresh Foam X Trail More v3 has made a runner out of me. Stop giving me pain. Start giving me shoes. You proved it can be done, now do it some more.

The shoe fits but the front of my foot is cramped and it hurts when I walk

I bought a pair 2 months ago and sides started coming apart. Wish these were made better for construction.

Felt a little narrow. Says 4E wide but didn't feel true to the size

Too tight and they hurt my feet and heavy

Good Shoes! Comfortable and good support. Only issues is that one foot rubs up on the back of the show and the material is worn out.
