I bought a bigger size but it was too big so exchanged in store for a smaller size. Customer service was great and exchange completed easily. Coat now fits well and was even better value with my birthday discount.

Really pleased with the Stride waterproof parka, love the colour, missed out on this last year.

Love the colour and fit and the fact that a waterproof coat is actually waterproof! It's lightweight too which is perfect for the Great British summer. Great neutral colour goes with all my clothes.

I have this Parka in the Green and Blue, Small is perfect for me (I'm 5ft 4ish) length is excellent and still room for a thicker layer underneath. I love the patch pockets, I can get so many things in them. I wear for dog walking, rushing off to Pilates and Yoga, I think these Parkas are so flattering with leggings and trainers but also looks good with jeans and wellies on! Really love them!

Bought this with my birthday discount so was affordable. Worn during the English summer which has been dreadful. Comfortable, roomy and doesn't leak on the seams. A great all year round piece.

This parka looks better than I expected, it fits perfect and does the job too as it's kept me dry on a few occasions. It has nice big pockets so you can fit essentials in and not have to carry a bag with room for your hands at the same time. Ties to pull in middle, the hood gives perfect cover, a classic parka look and I went for the green which is a lovely colour. I'm a size 8 and went for xs it fit perfect and I can wear with t-shirt or I have room for a jumper underneath.

I use this coat for dog walking when theres a chance of rain, its perfect as not too heavy but has always kept me dry. The big patch pockets are perfect for all the 'accessories' I need to take out on a dog walk!! #teamsweatybetty

Love this Parka, very happy love the fit . I alway take a small in SB and it's perfect. Added bonus of buying it with my bday voucher. Not sure it's worth the full price.

I love the extra details of this boat. The roomy pockets, high low hem , the perfect color green. I bought my usual medium and it is roomy enough to wear with layers, but with the elastic waist it does not look sloppy or baggy, Fabric and findings are very high quality,

After coming home soaking wet from walking the dog once too often, I chose this jacket to put things right. I made a really good choice! It keeps me dry and warm - keeping the wind out too. It's a really good length, coming down to about my knees. The hood is rather big, a bit like a parachute, so hold tight when it gets blowy! I chose a medium as I wanted plenty of room to move wearing jumpers underneath. I usually wear a 10, but sometimes 12 due to shoulders and chest. A medium is roomy, leaving me with plenty of space to move still - which was as I'd hoped. Lovely big pockets - great for filling with dog walking stuff!

This is a really nice looking jacket in Khaki, however, my usual medium size was far too large (even with a jumper underneath) and the hood was far too big. The sleeves, although adjustable, were too wide even on the tightest fit.

Been after this jacket in the black for months has managed to get my usual size in a sale but had to return as way too small. Finally saw an XL available and although wanted a large I snapped it up. Well, glad I did as it just fits. Good shape but fitted across shoulders, hence why recommend sizing up. It's plenty big enough from chest down. Feels quality and looks great. Wishe they came with detachable hood or one you can roll into collar but love it!

5 ft 10, slim build but small is plenty big enough and nice and long in the arms! still Good for layering on cold days and keeping dry when warmer. Smart and cool!

A great fitting, stylish looking raincoat. The water falls off keeping me nice and dry. I imagine it will need re-proofing after a while. Perfect for walking about town on a rainy day but probably not technically up to full-on rainy hikes.

I finally purchased the Stride Waterproof Parka after over a year of keeping an eye on it. I read all the reviews to get an idea of what size to order and based on what I read, I thought XS would be OK. Not so, this jacket is REALLY roomy! I definitely need an XXS. Alas, not currently in stock. In all other aspects, this is a great looking jacket though I agree the hood is rather voluminous! Have to return so can't comment on how waterproof it is.

Lovely jacket, I bought a M and I am 5'9' and 75kg, I tried the L but I felt the shape looked better on me. Personally I would have loved more it if it had has an inside pocket.

Good, reliable jacket. This has definitely kept me dry throughout the many downpours we've had in the last few months. I agree with the other reviewers about the pockets-it would have been better to have side pockets perhaps behind the main ones. The pockets themselves are nice and deep though, very handy when I'm out with my kids.

Great purchase that I got in the sale. It's definitely waterproof and I'd say windproof as well; as a good old British storm will verify. It has a little quirk though, it rides up at the front when it's windy - difficult to articulate - but it folds under somehow, perhaps due to the pressure. Also one of the poppers on the cuff keeps coming undone. I suspect it's a fault but too late to do anything about now. I bought it to schlep up and down to the gym a 15 min walk away, and to go to the seaside and I'm so glad that I did. I'm petite 5' and got the small. With hindsight I'd have got XS, but it means at least I can comfortably layer.

I love the color. I bought small and xsmall. The small is pretty big but I can layer more under it compared to the xsmall. I like the fleece lining in the pockets. The jacket is thinner than I thought but I like the length.

Loved the coat but the sleeves were way too long for me sadly so had to return.

I need my bum covered in chilly temperatures but was also looking for something to keep out the wet. This Parka ticks all those boxes and more! Great length, sleeve length is excellent too and overall just looks fab. I bought the Medium as I am broad shouldered and was looking for a roomy coat that I could layer up in the winter, so this size is perfect for me, as I usually wear Small. The Parka has two good size external pockets but alas no internal pockets so hence why a 4* not 5* as it is so useful and important! Come on SB sort the pocket situation out, please.

Stood up to the test. Today was a very wet, rainy day in the North. I am pleased to say that my coat kept me warm & dry. I agree with a previous comment that maybe side pockets would have been better as the front open pockets allows the rain to run off your sleeves & into the pockets. That's the only reason I have awarded the coat 4* and not 5*
