These shoes are wild! At first glance, I had my doubts. They kinda look like water shoes or the kind that old folks wear when they can't bend over to tie their shoes anymore (which is how I also feel many days). But any doubts I had about the shoes melted away immediately after sliding them on for the first time. They are outrageously comfortable and supportive. Probably the closest thing to walking around on memory foam but in a functional shoe. Arc'teryx nailed a perfect blend of impressive comfort in a functional package. I've put these through the wringer in the couple months or so that I've had them. I brought them down to Joshua Tree for a week long climbing course I was teaching and couldn't have been happier with how they performed. Surprisingly supportive, breathable, and again, wildly comfortable. I have worn them on approaches and easy hikes for 2+ miles and have loved them. Having the back heel collapse for easy on and off between climbs has also been a huge plus. I've seen other companies put out similar shoes but these are hands down the best I've seen across the industry. Highly recommend!

The shoe looks super good, I think it is the best designed slipon I saw so far. However the sole is too squishy and makes weird noises when walking.

These immediately became my go-to shoe. They feel supportive in both casual outings and out in more technical landscapes. I also didn't have to break them in - they were perfect the moment I put them on.

The shoes look like everyday shows and are super comfortable. Can wear everyday for regular work or strolls but also can where at the crag during the approach .

I've been using the new Kragg shoe as my main casual wear shoe this spring and have been loving the simplicity and versatility that they provide. They function well like a slip on replacement for casual tennis shoes or a comfy slide on for before or after skiing or biking when I take off my ski boots or riding shoes. I've done some casual gravel bike rides with these on pretty flat terrain and the soles stick well to my pedals. They have a nice spring to them, the sole is very cushioned and comfortable. Outdoor climbing season is almost here and these will be my main short-approach shoe and cragging/belay slide on shoe. Previously I've used the older Arc'teryx Arakys shoe for this purpose, but the Kragg is much more comfy. I'd love to see an insulated high top version of this design for winter-time someday! I typically wear a US 7.5/8 women's street shoe and 7.5 US W in all other Arc'teryx running and approach shoes, and the 7.5 US size fit me perfect in these too.

Really loving the Kragg. It's the perfect shoe post-run, between pitches at the crag, or just relaxing at home. Super comfortable and I've pretty much lived in these since I got them.

The Kraggs keep me comfy at the wall, while being grippy and supportive enough to handle a standard Squamish approach to the crag. Being able to slip them on and off between climbs is incredibly efficient and the thick cushioned insoles make for a comfy belay

I honestly haven't taken them off since I got them! Think like approach shoe + slippers, these shoes are now my ultimate go to from gym to city to forest. Works really well on rocky terrain and the cushion sole is comfy all day.

I finally gave up on wearing flip flops to the crag after stubbing my toe one too many times. These will definitely be my new crag shoes -- super comfy, can be worn as a slipper, and a healthy base of sticky rubber for hopping over slabby boulders. It's not quite spring yet, but I've already been wearing them every opportunity I get.

My new Fav recovery shoe, super comfortable. Great design detail on the Heel, the variation in fabric allows for a true slip on style or to be worn as a full on show, without ruining your footwear. I bought a 7.5 and 8. I am typically an 8 in Women's. I have a narrow foot and the 7.5 fit snug width wise with thin socks, and just right in the length. but amazingly comfortable. The 8 felt wider and length wise a lot roomier, but just as comfortable.

These have been my favourite shoes I've had in years. I work in the climbing industry as a setter, and coach and I am on my feet all day. I need a shoe with a flat grippy sole, and these hit the mark for me. My feet haven't ever hurt after my long 12 hour days. Best comfort shoe, with a very unique design that people are always asking about. As far as using them as an outdoor approach shoe I would recommend something in the line that is a bit more supportive. I've found that steep uneven terrain is not where they perform best. Since they don't have laces I find that my feet move around in the shoe if I'm on uneven ground. If your approach is short and easy they will be great. Ultimately these shoes are fantastic, and I will always have a pair in my regular rotation. I'd recommend a 1/2 size down from your regular shoe size if you want a snug fit.

More comfortable than the old arakys (a similar folding heel), and perform well as a approach shoe. Carries well on a harness or stuffs into a bag. For comedy purpose, my partner managed to scale the Beckey route on Liberty bell in them. So, they do also climb OK. She's put a small holes in the side after a season of use, but most likely used these outside of their recommended environment.. Mine are holding up well.

I struggle with plantar fasciitis, and these are the only shoes I own that dont aggravate it after standing for a long time. Theyre incredibly comfortable, even on long cragging days and extended approaches, and I havent experienced any foot pain. While they can feel a bit chunky (they run slightly wide), the comfort more than makes up for it. I appreciate the bar tack/loop in the back, which makes it easy to clip them away when switching to climbing shoes. A quick tip: definitely wear them with socksotherwise, they can get a little sweaty and prone to odor if not washed frequently. After putting them through the wringer, one loop is starting to tear, but theyve held up well overall. I just wish I had them in every color!

The best recovery shoe. After 3 days straight of running 8+ plus miles these shoes allowed me to walk comfortably with out any pain or soreness in my legs. Compared to normal shoes where I could feel every aching muscle in my legs.

I bought these for every day wear and hiking / getting outside. Theyre breathable and also sturdy. The front of shoe is protected well with the rubber toe design. Also look very sleek and wash off well. Havent looked back since this purchase, love wearing them, they are extremely comfortable too on the inside. Its like walking on clouds all day.

So it lake season - they look like a modern pair of water socks. That is unfortunately the exact comment I recieved when I wore them to a friends house a few minutes after arrival. Beyond that they are comfortable and easy to slip on. Maybe need to lean into the modern look a little more heavily to escape the water socks design aesthetic. Would have returned them based on design but my dog ate the box. Now they are a fast pair of slip ins. Wish they were a little more avant garde to make them worthy of everyday wear since they are very comfortable.

Purchased this shoe early April, and used in normal urban / commuter use. Five stars for comfort, but no stars for durability. The heel loops are disintegrating, so either it is a design or material issue. In any case, if you're using these shoes, be careful with the heel loops as they tear off easily. Have submitted a repair request, hoping for a positive outcome as this was an expensive purchase and I've been a loyal Arc gear user for well over a decade.

It took me a bit to get used to the silhouette of the Kragg, but once I did, it became one of my go-to's in both bouldering and casual situations. I find it extremely comfortable with the super soft and squishy insolealmost too comfortable, hence the title. The Vibram sole gives you plenty of traction for the situations it was built to endure, which is a chill-ish approach to a crag with casual on/off abilities, but I find the build of the entire shoe too soft for an approach with too steep of a grade (especially on downhills) or in a situation where a heavier load is being carried - stick with a konseal for those times and don't judge the Kragg for not being built for 'em. The hybrid heel is amazing and something I've hoped for from the brand, however I will say that if you have a wide forefoot, it doesn't love to stay put until its extremely broken in - they'll kind of creep forward ever so slightly and you'll have to readjust. Nitpicking aside, the designers pretty much nailed this one and highly recommend picking up a pair if you can find them in stock!

Been a great addition to my bouldering season in Squamish this year. I aways dread taking my shoes on and off for every boulder so having a slip on for bouldering days has made life a lot easier and more enjoyable. The thick insole makes them so comfy for running around the forest and the toe rubber makes scrambling/climbing in the shoe not a problem as well.

Not the quality I am used to from Arcteryx. After 3 days of wear at a climbing trip, using the shoe at the crag as it was intended for, the pull tabs have already created holes in the material of the heel. Not worth the high price. Getting things sorted out with customer service, I would rather have a refund.. would definitely not buy again.
