Ultra lightweight shoe, bouncy foam, propulsive plate, and super breathable (and eye catching) upper. My first couple runs in this shoe, I was worried about my pinky toes touching the front, the bounce felt a little unstable to me, and I couldn't get into a rhythm. This is because I was a bit more of a "shuffler" style than I thought. Yesterday I tried the shoe for an all out 5K at 6:15 pace and I finally understood it. My avg stride was 1.5m whereas I normally do 1.2m in a longer/slower race or 11.1m at easy paces. The shoe came alive and felt amazing when I really opened up and went for long breezy strides. I honestly may not be a strong enough runner to use this on long distances but for those who are, the energy return really does reduce the effort and any instability concerns disappeared at pace.

Very unstable shoe. Every turn felt like I was about to roll an ankle.

Solid race day shoes. Took me some time to find this pair (also found out that I am definitely a stride runner during this search process) and prefer this over Edge+. Fits true to size, prefer Sky Paris over other super shoes I've tried (Saucony Elite, Nike VF) for a full marathon distance. It feels stable, yet responsive with just the right amount of pop.

These shoes are FAST. I ran a half marathon this past Sunday and I ran 1:54 even with walk breaks (huge hills). The laces never came undone and they were comfortable the entire race. When my legs started to fatigue, I really leaned into the plate and it definitely propelled me forward. I train in the gel nimbus and the metaspeeds are so light compared to.

The Sky+ was a fast shoe but had some serious stability issues in my opinion. This shoe addresses those issues and makes for a fast, stabile, incredible racer. Love everything about it. Great job!

Love the bounce and extra push forward. Great shoe and flashy colors. Fits a little on the small size. Recommend going up a half size. ASICS girlie all the way to that PR baby!

I was genuinely surprised to find some relatively low reviews for this shoe across multiple platforms. It's a recent addition to my collection, and after jogging roughly 40 miles in them, I can confidently say it's become my favorite pair. Despite my usual preference for Nike Alphaflys, I find this shoe to surpass them in overall performance.
I recently completed the OC Hoag Marathon 2024 in these shoes. The sole absorbed shock exceptionally well, leaving my feet pain-free throughout the race. The shoe's responsiveness far exceeded my expectations, making it understandable why elite athletes favor it.
Reflecting on my experience running the LA Marathon 2023 in Saucony's Speed Endorphins 3, I vividly recall the discomfort that set in around mile 20. I wish I had been wearing these ASICS then. While Nike Alphaflys are undeniably impressive, I've encountered issues with heel blisters and a narrow toebox, my friend owns a pair of the same Nike's (RIP to her toenails).
One standout feature of the ASICS is its wider toebox, providing ample breathing room for the feet. Coupled with its lightweight design and excellent shock absorption, it's become my go-to shoe for daily runs. In fact, I'm considering purchasing another pair specifically for races. In my opinion, this shoe is a clear winner.
Last mention: I hit my best PR with these, overall happy!

I have a good number of racing shoes (5K to Full Marathon) and some are better for certain distances than others, but the Metaspeed Sky Paris just might be the best racing shoe I've ever tried and rain in. I haven't run a full marathon with it yet, but I plan to do so soon. Obviously, it's awesome for shorter distances with its featherweight design and construction and an extremely propulsive yet still comfortable ride. I also have the Edge Paris and it's also great, but I think I prefer the Sky Paris as it seems to suit my form and running style better. I never considered if I'm a cadence or stride runner, but I think I do extend my stride more than increasing cadence when I want to go increase speed, although I'd certainly increase the cadence as well. The Edge seems to "roll" over more while the Sky pushes me upwards more. The Sky feels stiffer but that's what I prefer when I want to go fast. The FF Turbo+ is really awesome. I stayed away from the previous Metaspeed versions because of reports that the FF Turbo is very firm and even "harsh". The FF Turbo+ is still a bit on the firm side but it's soft enough for protection and is quite bouncy - very pleasant overall. The upper is superb and fits my slightly wide forefoot with slightly narrow mid-foot and heel like a glove. The traction of the outsole is surprisingly good although I haven't run in wet conditions with it. I've done up to a 20-mile run with the Sky Paris and the lightness really helped near the end. I feel confident that it'll be just fine for a full marathon although the bottom of the heel is on the narrow side. All in all, an amazing racing shoe. ASICS really hit it out of the park with the Sky Paris.

The METASPEED SKY PARIS has been performing excellently, with an incredibly smooth ride. Although I did experience a hot spot on my index toe, it's nothing that can't be fixed. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with these shoes.

Super light weight. However, I feel like their soles were not wide enough which made it unstable sometimes.

Really enjoyed running in these for a recent half-marathon, have a full coming up in a few weeks. I like the subtle changes. Fit my feet great, took them on a 8 mile break in run before my race. No issues at all.

i have been wearing Nike Alpha Fly for race days. it is great shoes but i always ended up with toenail injury. some of the came off also had pain on top of my foot at downhills.
After a long research i bought this Metaspeed Sky for my first Boston marathon this year. i wear this new shoes for Saturday long runs, 15 to 21miles, i am finding this one fits perfect for me. no issues with my toes, i don't feel toes at all. however i am finding cushion of Metaspeed is slightly harder compared with Alphafly.
overall, i am happy with this.

MUCH better than the Sky+: more bounce from the foam, more propulsion from the plate, better fitting upper. Strong contender for my marathons this year.

These shoes are amazing. Felt bouncy but stable. Haven't used in a race yet but they were so fast during a tempo workout(30 seconds per miles faster than standard shoe. From 7:10 to 6:40). I can't wait to use them in Boston.
